This farmer's market is a lot smaller than some of the others I have been to but I will be coming back more often when I'm in the area. There's honey, flower & plants, and a variety of fruits and veggies. Most importantly, they have sprouts. There is plenty of parking right where the market is. The prices are better than most of the market's I go to and I'm able to pick up most of what I need to make a salad or soup in my vita-mix blender. They are open Tuesday mornings from 9-1. I gave this 4 stars due to the great prices and convenience.

It's safe to say that this farmers market gives me pride in living in Norwalk. The market is an awesome example of what it is to be a community. The vendors are kindly welcoming and their energies are the most positive. It's inexpensive, local and organic produce. The Norwalk Farmers Market is exclusively for produce and plants. You won't find catering or food vendors, so it's a pretty raw experience. There is a raw honey and a nut vendor, which is pretty cool because it adds to the concept of the farmers market, FRESH! Oh, and the samples doe! Every vendor has sample of their produce for people to taste. I've been lucky enough to be given a whole fruit to taste. The fruit is fresh and naturally sweet! Also, If you're looking for asian culinary produce, this is the spot to go! They have all kinds of veggies for your asian culinary plates. Sometimes I'll buy veggies or roots that I've never heard of, and the vendor is always willing to share a recipe or cooking/prep technique. This is really awesome because it shows that they really know what they are selling, they know their product and it comes to show the connection they have with it, something that grocery stores completely lack! It's a small market, but very diverse! ALSO: parents, be advised: THEY ACCEPT WIC! Eating healthy is not an issue when you have local farmers markets like these :]

The Organic Movement gives the average person images of hippy farmers strumming guitars and selling over-priced, funny tasting produce but this place is anything but! Just like Platform 9 3/4 you'll miss it if you dont know it's there. Every Tuesday morning, the City of Norwalk's Certified Organic Farmer's Market transforms an empty parking lot into a wonderland of fresh fruits, vegetables & plants! It's a great place to start if you're not familiar with healthy foods like Kale and Nopal, because they usually go for a dollar or two for a generous batch. The down to earth farmers will even explain the nutritional benefits of their produce and serve you with a smile! Sometimes you can even pick out your own produce as they hold the bag out for you. I recommend you do because the biggest produce requires a little searching on your behalf. Wether you are trying to get healthy, just want to vary your diet or you're redoing your garden with organic, California grown plants, this place has plenty to choose from. They even have exotic finds like cherimoya, kumquats, orchids, Arabian Jasmine and Dama de Noche! The stalls towards the front are the friendliest in my experience and the more you go the more they feel like your next door neighbour. It has a great overall atmosphere if you dont mind Cumbia playing in the background. My family and I go every other week because the prices are cheap enough that you can stockpile your fridge for two weeks or even more if you know how to store it right. Before you go don't forget the wheat grass shots towards the back, because once you get into it you'll need the extra boost to carry away all the nutritious and delicious organic produce you can buy!

This market is very nice to have available, it's easy to find, right next to the indoor swap meet, and parking is not a problem. True, it is a smaller farmers market, but during the middle of the week it's expected. You can find basic produce, and some unconventional fruit: asian pears, persimmons, joojoobees (I think they are called). About $1.50/pound. Sometimes $1/pound. Very reasonable prices. You can also find some delicious raw honey. Very affordable and pure. The bees are from Seal Beach area.

Cool little spot if you live locally. Just don't drive to far for this place. It's pretty small but everything is fresh, free samples, and make sure you have some cash handy. It's only open early Tuesday mornings from 9 to 1 p.m.

I live near this farmer's market so it's the one I go to. BUT... I want organics. There is one vegetable vendor who has organics, but they say they sell less at this market because people in this area aren't interested in organics. What I've noticed is that their produce is often not looking as fresh as I'd like. I think they do this market last during their week. I'm glad they are there, but as one other reviewer said, don't drive to get here. It's a small market and there's only one booth with actual organic vegetables
