Nori Hand Roll Bar

We hired Nori Hand Roll Bar for our holiday party at home in December to treat our friends with a fun, delicious, and unique dining experience to celebrate the holiday season. This review is long overdue, but I wanted to take the time to share our positive experience and support an outstanding small business.Kevin was incredibly responsive and made everything easy to coordinate, which took a lot of stress off my plate. (Apologies for the extra questions - while their website has all the details you'll ever need, he was kind enough to answer all my questions with patience and professionalism). On the day of our party, the team that came was professional and friendly. The food was delicious! Our guests loved the quality and freshness of the hand rolls. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

I wanted to cater something different for my 35th birthday so I decided to treat myself and my friends to a Hand Roll party. After seeing Instagram ads and reading the reviews on here, I decided to give this company a try! Getting a quote and booking my event with Kevin was easy. I ordered the popular/favorite items: salmon, mentaiko scallops, unagi, miso glazed yakiton, and wagyu kushiyaki. I enjoyed every one of them! Grant and his team were friendly and provided good service, however I am giving this review a 4 star because 1. They were late to set up the event and did not communicate with me until I texted them. 2. They left behind some lids and I had to reach out to coordinate to see if they were going to come back to pick them up. I put them in a bag and left them outside on the bench for them to pick up any time. Only to find out that the drive for them was not worth it and told me to throw the lids away. Nothing major, just minor inconveniences. Otherwise, the food was delicious and everyone was left with a full and happy stomach.

Wow, I am really impressed! Our friend invited over and they hired Nori. The foods were truly exquisite!Good variety of hand rolls (there were 5 kinds in our friends party), and each of them was out of this world. They have 5 different toppings, and 3 different sauce.I really wish they open a restaurant so that I can go and enjoy them on a regular basis!

First time having Hand Roll at a party! I was so excited to get my hands on these hand rolls. I had the scallop, salmon, and spicy tuna hand rolls. I also had the yakinori negima chicken as well. I enjoyed every single rolls. I'm just sad I forgot to get the sauces. Next time if they are at another one of my friend's party, gotta remember the sauces! The caterers provided great service! I already have them bookmarked to possibly have them at a future party.

The three guys working were sooo nice and friendly and smiley. I really really liked the beef belly (gyuyaki). And I also really liked the lemon yuzu sauce and the truffle soy sauce. The garnishes were yummy too. I think this is such an amazing catering business to have cater your parties and events :)

Just celebrated my daughter's first birthday at Liberty Park in Cerritos and the Nori Hand Roll Bar was definitely a crowd pleaser. Guests were very impressed and kept going back for more, especially the wagyu kushiyaki. Their team was very friendly and professional. Here at the 626 night market and was craving hand rolls. They were giving out samples in line. Delicious! The toro was probably my favorite. Very friendly customer service too!

I hired Nori Hand Roll bar for my wife's 40th birthday in LA. Could not recommend more highly. Kevin was extremely easy to work with and his crew was punctual, professional, and personable. We ordered the Salmon, Spicy Tuna, Hamachi Pesto, and Unagi. I received nothing but massive compliments the whole event. I cook, have worked in restaurants and catered events, so am pretty picky and would 1,000% hire these them again. Thanks for making me look good guys.

We hired Nori for our company holiday party at Venue by Three Petals and they exceeded our expectations! Kevin was fantastic to work with during the planning process. On the day of our event, his team greeted us with enthusiasm and were amazing from start to finish. Shoutout to Eldrick, Noah, Alan and Bill! You guys killed it. The hand rolls were so good and fresh. We were thrilled with the addition of wagyu and chicken options as we had a lot of non-fish eaters. Our guests raved about Nori! We will definitely use them for future events.
