I've gone to Noodle St about 3 different times now, and it has easily become one of my favorite go-to places when the weather is gloomy. I also found out during my last visit that CSUF students get 15% off if you show a school ID! Highlights: Chicken Noodle Soup (9/10) - A very comforting dish and my go-to if I want something simple. I love their serving sizes - they pack the bowl so that there's enough noodles, soup, and chicken for every bite. If you're getting this for the first time, know that they add lots of kale and that the pieces of chicken are pretty big haha! Steamed Pork Cabbage Dumplings (9/10) - If you want soup dumplings, get this!Spicy Chicken Wontons (10/10) - soooo goodBeef Roll Pancake (8.5/10) - tip: dip it in the chili sauceService here is also really great. Each time I've dined in, all the staff have been super friendly and attentive.

The Mrs. and I had lunch yesterday at Noodle St. We arrived around 12:30 and were seated right away. The menu is simple. We ordered four dishes to share. The first dish was the Fried Calamari served with sweet and sour sauce. The badder was crispy but surprisingly light. The calamari itself was tender. The next dish was the lamb skewers which we ordered spicy. This was probably the dish I could have skipped. The meat was tender but all the spice consisted of was a dusting of Cayenne pepper. We then had the Beef Roll Pancake which I really enjoyed. The flavor of the beef along with the crispness of the pancake and green onions was refreshing. I added chili oil to give it a little kick. Our last dish was the Shrimp and Pork Dumplings. You have the option ordering them steamed or pan fried. I recommend the pan fried options. The little bit of crunch adds to the flavor. I doused mine in chili oil for extra flavor. The service was good but very quick. We were in and out in 30 minutes. Picking was easy to find. Noddle St sits on the corner of State College and Chapman. The parking lot is pretty small.

This place used to be decent, but after this experience, we're never coming back. I brought my wife and our 3-year-old daughter here on Saturday, expecting a nice meal -- instead, we got attitude, confusion, and outright unprofessionalism from management. Our initial order was simple: * 1 Spicy Beef Noodle * 1 Chicken Noodle Soup (so my wife could share with our daughter)My wife really wanted the spicy beef, but since it's too spicy for a toddler, I asked if they had a smaller, kid-friendly chicken noodle bowl. The server assured us they did, and we were given the option of beef or chicken broth. Based on that, we ordered 2 Spicy Beef Noodles and 1 "kids" Chicken Noodle Soup. What came out? Three full-sized adult bowls -- and when I asked, I was told they don't even offer kids' portions. This was a clear bait-and-switch upsell, and it was insulting. The server who took our order actually acknowledged the miscommunication, apologized, and even offered to cover the mistake -- which was appreciated. That's where the professionalism ended.Enter the manager -- who wasted no time mentioning her six years of experience, as if that excused what came next. She aggressively reached across the table toward my toddler's bowl and barked, "YOU DON'T WANT THE SOUP, OK?!" -- as if bullying a child is some sort of customer service strategy. It was uncomfortable, unnecessary, and beyond inappropriate. To top it off, she loudly hollered about the cost -- first shouting it's "$4," then correcting herself mid-rant to "$8." The whole thing felt like we were being shaken down in a place that's supposed to offer hospitality.I'm a local restaurant owner myself, and I can confidently say this manager has completely lost touch with how to handle customers, complaints, or even basic decency.Pasadena's location will be my go-to from now on -- at least they know how to treat people. Between the dirty tables, the bait-and-switch tactics, and the unhinged management, this location is a complete embarrassment. Never again.

I'm a regular to this restaurant whether it is in person or togo. Whenever I am craving for spicy beef soup and/or xiao long bao, I don't hesitate and order them from here. No matter how many Chinese restaurants I tried, I always end up coming back to this place because I trust their quality. In addition to spicy beef soup and xiao long bao, I order cucumber salad and beef roll pancake. They make a great company and enhances other dishes. It may look a lot but it never is. All of their portions are just right. The restaurant is big enough to accommodate large group of people. Their utensils are eye catching with the cute engravement of the restaurant's name and the noodle and dumpling making process is still amazing to watch behind the glass window. This place is crowded and have a long line pretty much every day due to popularity of their food and the parking is challenging so you need to plan ahead to dine in.

The beef noodle soup here is so yummy!!! The broth is so delicious, and the meat is very tender. I also enjoyed the chewy texture of the noodles. Their beef rolls and cucumber salad are also great! Our server was also very kind and helpful. The space is quite small, and there is no area to wait to be seated, so I would just recommend wearing suitable clothes for the weather during busy hours.

My favorite meal of 2025 thus far... which I know may not be saying much but every dish we ordered was so good. The standout dish was undoubtedly the beef roll. It deserves a medal of honor for the crispy pancake and flavorful beef drizzled in sauce. If you order any noodle dish, I urge you to try the hand-pulled noodles. You can see them make it through the window so it's freshly made and the texture is unmatched. It elevates every dish, whether it's in the stir-fry or the noodle soup. I was in a stir-fry mood this night so that was the one dish I really wanted. I ordered the CYO (create-your-own) option with shrimp, tofu, carrot, kale, and onion. It was delicious that day and the next day when I had it as leftovers. The waiters were also extremely efficient but also so warm and welcoming. The food came out quickly too so the overall experience was great. I think it was a good decision to also come for an early dinner because it got packed pretty quickly, even on a weekday.

This was a really fun place to visit. You can watch the cooks making the pulled noodles for the soup from the kitchen. Enjoyed the cucumber salad, potato string shrimp, crispy tofu, beef roll pancakes, and the spicy noodle soup. I like that you can pick how you want your noodles, I had the standard round. Next time I'll try the knife cut! They were a little flatter. My favorite appetizer was the beef roll pancakes! Lots of flavor and very filling. We went to the Fullerton location. I like that they have several locations in the Orange County area. I'll definitely go again when I'm in the area. All the wait staff were nice and helpful. We were with a large group and didn't feel rushed at all.

Came here with my parents and partner around 9 PM for dinner on a Monday night. We chose this spot because it offers a good mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.VibesThe restaurant was nice, clean, and had a casual atmosphere.ServiceExcellent! The waiter who assisted us provided amazing customer service and was very attentive.FoodSpicy Beef Noodle - 7/10It was okay. I liked the knife-cut noodles, and the beef was tender, but the soup lacked flavor.Beef Roll - 9/10Delicious! The slightly sweet sauce paired perfectly with the flavorful beef, and the onion pancake wrap was flaky yet chewy.Crispy Tofu - 8/10A good option if you're vegetarian. The tofu was hot and crispy, seasoned with Taiwanese chicken spices.

Noodle St made my tummy so happy. I met up with fellow Yelper Jonathan Z for a comforting meal and we were well attended to. We ordered lots of food, starting with the Beef Rolls which we both loved as the beef was so tender. We couldn't pass up an order of the Chicken Spicy Wontons with their house made spicy sauce, simply delicious. With a name like Noodle St you know their specialty has to be handmade noodles, and they did not disappoint. I went with the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup. You're able to pick your noodles that vary in thickness and chewiness and I went with the knife cut because I love a thick, chewy noodle. The soup was packed with so much flavor and the noodles were impeccable. I was not a fan of the chunks of beef shank as they were a bit chewy and tendon-y for me but that's personal preference so I think I would go with the signature soup next time as it has sliced beef shank.

We were greeted right away and sat down quickly. Food also came out pretty quick! The flavors in the chicken noodles and beef soups were great! The glass window allows you to watch them cut the noodles which gives a really nice vibe. Bright lights as well! Be careful ordering knife cut noodles, they are very heavy!
