My family planned a surprise birthday for me at this winery. Absolutely gorgeous property, hidden gem here in Orange County. Our server was lovely, very professional and knowledgeable. We did a tour, got to meet their goats, bunnies chickens tortoise birds and koi fish. Romantic & intimate ambiance, we all really had a great time.

Planning an event here was an absolute nightmare & I'd urge you to avoid this place at all costs. The poor "wine goats" are fed with DORITOS & are about the size of a double-wide. Caren showed a typical "Newport Beach" attitude & proceeded to nickel & dime us at every corner. I would not recommend this place to friends or family.

My first time hosting an event here and I was blown away. I had about 15 people join me for dinner and everyone kept saying how gorgeous the place was and no one knew there was a Vineyard here. The food was so delicious we have the chicken pesto and stuffed mushrooms to pick from. They take you on a 20-minute tour around the property and the house on the property has a Lamborghini hanging on the wall. Pretty incredible. Overall experience was definitely one of the time and you will not be disappointed. I could not have pulled off this event without the help of Caren at Newport Beach Vineyard and winery. She's the best!

I booked the goat and wine tour which happens on the 1st of every month for my best friend's birthday. For 4 people it was about $430ish which is a bit overpriced in my opinion for the experience. It was $100/person, without taxes and fees. The experience was 2 hours long, we got there about 20 minutes before the tour, it is complimentary valet parking. You get 4 drinks, sandwiches (nothing special), a tour of the "vineyard" which includes a house, some farm animals, and big turtle named Gucci, then some time to feed the goats. For the one time experience, I would say try it, but it is nothing mind blowing!

This is my first negative review I've ever written. I went to the monthly wine tasting + vineyard tour with goats. The experience was not that.TL:DR there was no discussion or education around wines whatsoever, the 4 wines served were bottom shelf bottles, half not even from the winery. the "tour" was a walk around the property, avoiding the vineyard, up to the owners extravagant mansion and luxury car collection. The goats arrived at the very end and were the highlight, but they provided Cheetos for us to feed them which felt unsafe for the goats health. The lunch seemed to have been catered from a local grocery store- basic meat sandwiches, Caesar salad, and petit brownies. Truly nothing special or anything related to wine pairings. Except for the walk up to the owners mansion, we were largely left alone. The hosts did not talk to the group about the vineyard, the wines that were offered, etc. Standard things to expect when attending a tasting and tour but completely missing from this experience. This is not a wine tasting or a vineyard tour. This is unfortunately an overpriced event that seemed to be focused on the owners showing off their cars and house. Everyone was kind at least. I was shocked by the false advertising and price tag ($110 a head).

This winery is not open to the public. It is available to rent as an event space. I had the privilege of attending a work related social event here. You may have driven by here numerous times and didn't even realize this place was here. As other reviewers state, it's a true hidden gem. The grounds are very nicely landscaped, lush and beautiful. There are a couple of nice koi ponds plus a chicken coop for fresh eggs. An extravagant home is atop the hill above the vineyard. They grow their own grapes so their vineyard is on site. A wine cave houses barrels of wine and is used as space to serve food for events. Outside patio tables with umbrellas are available to sit and relax. For this particular event a wine tasting consisting of four wines was made available (two whites, two reds). The zinfandel was pretty good but the others I wasn't thrilled about. Not to say they weren't good - apparently they've won numerous awards - they just weren't my taste. Just like people will argue over what barbecue sauce or pizza toppings are the best, it all comes down to personal taste, as does wine.Staff here were quite nice and gave generous pours for the tastings. They also did a fine job of giving tours of the estate.I haven't a clue what it costs to have an event here so if you are interested it's best to go to their website for more info and contact them.

Very disappointed in how my birthday event turned out. Very expensive for the service we were given. I booked 16 people for tapas dinner in the wine cave. The food was actually very good.. we had a goat cheese spread n crackers, sausages, seafood paella and crème brûlée. We were supposed to have a winetasting, which we never got. Upon everyone's arrival Amy the server said that we can each get a glass of wine for the wine property tour. I assumed that was a gift from the winery because she never mentioned it would be taken away from our wine tasting wines that we had paid for, she never made anything clear. She seemed to just offer each of us a glass of wine for the tour. After the tour she said dinner was ready and I asked if we will be doing the wine tasting before or after dinner and she said she had already used the wine bottles for the wine, tasting to pour everyone's glass of wine, which, by the way, she poured very large glasses of wine for everyone, so there wasn't enough for everyone to have the wine tasting that we paid for. That was very confusing and unprofessional given the amount of money we spent on this event. We just rolled with it because we wanted to have a good time and not make a big deal about it at the moment. For the tour, we were never actually taken through the vineyards, it was just to see the property and the animals. We tipped a very big tip of $500 and when we looked at the credit card charge receipts they had charged us almost $20 extra ..and when I asked what it was, it was a merchant fee which we were never told we would be charged on a tip. We were nickel and dimed Also because she poured such large glasses of wine from the supposed wine tasting wine bottles we had, we were forced to buy more wine which was very expensive. So on top of the already expensive event, we never got a wine tasting, we got charged a merchant fee for a tip and bought more wine. Super unorganized and unprofessional, and very disappointing at the very end of it all.My friends and I had a great time, but we can have a great time anywhere, so that wasn't an issue for us as a group luckily. Was planning another event for another friend of mine's birthday, but definitely will not be booking this ever again, Sadly. I explained my issues via email and had no acknowledgment, aside from the charges, and still no response over my experience. NOT WORTH IT.

It's so bad that I want to give it a zero but I can't so I'm giving it 1 star. This place was a total waste of money and time. My fiancé booked us the Wine Goat Brunch for my birthday which he paid $274 for the two of us. Upon arrival we were given 4 drink tickets each. I was under the impression that when you go to a winery you're able to sample various wines that are made at that winery. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case at this location. They gave absolutely no background or said anything about the wines made there other than "the goats made this wine". The food they offered was half a lousy sandwich, Caesar salad with huge pieces of un-chopped lettuce, and the "dessert" was a small cupcake they bought from the grocery store. When it was time for the tour I thought we'd be touring the vineyards but we literally just toured the man's property. It seemed as if this man was just trying to show off. We overheard the owner bragging to two women about how people fly out from different states just to go to his parties. When it came time to feed the goats we were given small bags of Cheetos and Doritos to feed them. On their flyer it said there would be a "variety of snacks to feed the goats". That was again another disappointing factor about this whole experience. Prior to the tour we had seen the owner ripping leaves off and throwing them on the ground. Little did we know that was one of the snacks left out for the goats. I was shocked at the fact that we were given chips to the feed the goats, I was under the impression that we'd be feeding them fruits or vegetables. The goats looked absolutely over fed and obese. I over heard the owner state "those are some happy goats" no sir those are some overly obese and abused goats. Many guests here even commented on how their weight was "all Cheeto". Overall I would not recommend this Winery, save your money and treat yourselves to a better place than this one. Definitely not worth the money.

Six of us attended the Lunch with the Goats Sunday brunch that they have once a month. It was $140 per person which included 4 drink tickets, half a cold sandwich, wilted Cesar salad, and store bought brownie bites for dessert. The 3 wines that they had were not impressive. I had to return the rose. The red had a strange odor. The white wine was just ok. Following the "lunch," we had a tour of the premises, which was a short walk up to the owners' house, pond, chicken coop, etc. it probably lasted 20 minutes. Following the tour, the two goats came out. We were given Doritos chip bags to feed them. Then we were told that we needed to leave since there was another party coming, although there were no other people in sight. Overall, I found this experience quite disappointing. We paid a lot of money for a horrible lunch and a flat experience. Don't waste your time or money.
