Bought canned bamboo shoots and pickled Chinese lettuce. Free Thai newspaper. I didn't see any cockroaches here. It looks like a liquor store from the outside. The aisles are close together. The prices are about the same as the Thai-Laos market in the same mini-mall. The owner is more friendly than the nearby Thai market's checkout girl. The sizes for some foodstuffs are larger so there's a better value but the other grocery has better selection. They don't stock any Thai desserts, just groceries. We forgot to look for Beerlao.

I was told by a neighbouring store that they carried Beerlao. They don't...but they used to.Small, clean, VERY friendly owner. The regulars that were hanging out with the owner were also super friendly. haha. They all helped direct me to a large market where they said that I could find Beerlao. They were also quite surprised that I was even looking for it.Store itself carries all the basics and nothing special. If you're in the plaza and need a quick drink or bite or some random item for the house, drop in for convenience and stay for the friendly service.
