Had a lovely quiet Christmas Eve dinner here. The service was excellent. Definitely passed the vibe check.My favorite was the uni shots and sushi. The miso soup was also very pleasant. The Underdog Burrito roll which has salmon, krab, and avocado wrapped in soy paper with ponzu sauce was fresh and delicious.

Local gem! My husband and I found our place for authentic sushi. Best Albacore rolls that melt in your mouth. $1000 and Albacore is our favorite. Miso soup is authentic. Amazing green tea. Great! Lowkey and chill vibes. The service was attentive and prompt. Don't expect too special or anything, but they deliver to what they offer. The rolls are delicious despite the usual taste factor, the ramen was great and the sushi bake style they have is rich and huge in portions. We had takoyaki and it was a let down, because too much dough not enough octopus. But all in all, it's pretty decent. Does its job.

Really great sushi place for kids or for a date! It's very dark and moody which would make for a good casual date spot but I brought my kids here and they loved their sushi rolls and their kama fish here. The service was amazing and we came around 2:00pm so it wasn't busy and the service was fast. I highly recommend their rolls and their shishito peppers the best peppers I've tried with just a pinch more salt it was perfect. I also recommend their Kama fried fish they cooked it to perfection and super soft! Would definitely come back

Parking is plentiful. It's in a large strip mall off Raymond and El toro, across the library and the post office. I ordered:- ankimo monkfish sushi- blue crab hand roll- chirashi plateThe lady working the front is very friendly. There are other servers working who noticed me and didn't bother to greet me at all. I believe that any employee working the front should greet any potential customer, even if they're not able to help them right away. Some acknowledgement that somebody is gonna spend money on your establishment goes a long way. This place has been around for a long time. They have a presence and interior decoration set in stone. I do not love that they use the cheapest of packaging for their to go order. We are in 2024 now. You can pay extra for compostable and presentable packaging. It actually does go a long way. For food quality:None of the rice has that sweet vinegar taste. It's all steamed white rice with furikake. This restaurant is a Korean-Japanese restaurant. I think you could go the extra step and make sure the rice is good sushi quality rice and season it extra so it tastes more traditional. The fish is all good quality. I have severe mixed feelings about the blue crab hand roll and the chirashi. The hand roll is a behemoth size. But it's all steamed rice, that cheap fish eggs, blue crab, and furikake in a soy wrapper. Why is there SO much furikake?? I have never had furikake on rice with sushi. With poke, yes. The chirashi came with uni, which I was happy about. For $30, it better include some good options. It also included surf clam, roe, unagi. It seemed every big piece of fish came with that spicy marinated Wasabi sauce. It would have been better to have that on the side honestly. Not every fish tastes good with that sauce. There was not enough rice to eat with the fish. And it also came with spicy tuna, which really disheartened me, as perhaps personally? I think it's a cheap thing.
