Mother's Market & Kitchen

I'm surprised of all the comments about bad service. That's never been my experience. I've also never bought anything spoiled here. I love mother's market and this location is no exception. Only reason for 4 star is that they have a lot of items now that Whole Foods and sprouts carry too. But their prices are much higher on the exact same brands. Not sure why. But basically I have to buy certain items elsewhere only due to price. It would be nice to buy everything here if they could keep their prices competitive.

The rotisserie chicken I purchased from here was RAW. I don't get how this happens especially at Mother's. Never shopping here again

Great Place to find Healthy and Chemical Free Products ! I brought my Friend to this location while we were visiting the area and she was also amazed with their products ! She is Very Health Conscious and was Totally Impressed by the choices this store has to offer !! This store was easy to peruse, with an amazing assortment of items that can fill your fridge and cupboard ! After finding the products we couldn't resist we were assisted by a Wonderful Young woman at the Check out counter ! I highly Recommend this store and all it has to offer to Add A Healthy Alternative in your life !

I have been to a lot of Mother's Markets and this Mother has had a lot of Lipo which is expected in this area. I would call this Mother's Market: "Mother's Lite"While it's a small build out because this retail space is some of the most expensive commercial land in California it has an excellent feel. Definitely a positive addition to the community. Free easy parking.Chipolte, a very wealthy publicly traded company is currently building one of their most expensive grandiose locations right across the street from Mother's. Corona del Mar has really arrived getting both a Mother's and a Chipolte in the same year!

Laurel is the BEST! In the juice bar She was so warm, friendly, knowledgeable. She made us phenomenal juices. I love Mother's! (Erewhon for the O C , amirite) it's a little pricey and parking is annoying, but once you're in, it's cozy vibes and the food is actually reasonable in prices!

I came in at 6:30 on a Sunday night, not too busy. It's definitely a smaller store than the Costa Mesa location. I walked in for some grab and go food and other items, the store is well stocked for the essentials, however, A few of the associates really do need training on customer service. Employees consistently standing right in the middle of the isles, talking with friends who have come into the store about "where they're lead to next" in the journey of their life. Bro, that's great, but can you please do that on your off time, I'm trying to shop here, do you know what I mean. Same situation on the next aisle same associate just talking away, blocking not moving a single muscle knowing that there are customers walking in and out of the aisles. I felt so awkward having to tell this associates to move out of the way. It's definitely a small store, save yourself the awkwardness and go to Costa Mesa location.

2 stars for the 2 kind employees here. Otherwise this mothers is pretty bad. I've been shopping here since they opened and I have bought expired/moldy food here more than 5 times. Many of the employees seem to hate their jobs and really lack customer service skills. Particularly one woman that often wears a beanie, not sure her name. This mothers needs a major overhaul.

This location is tiny. You can get your organic produce here. They didn't have any breakfast burritos. They only had chicken fajita burrito or rice, bean, & cheese burrito at 11 am. They didn't scan my Family Rewards card online. They told me to enter my phone number instead.

I don't usually take the time to make a review unless someone is rude enough or exceptional for me to spend my time writing about it. Somehow this experience was both? Ironically enough I came to the comments to see so many people have actually said the same as I'm about to say...Ok so. Two of the employees, an older gentleman and a blonde woman were exceptional! Friendly and casual. The older gentleman offered assistance in the aisle, the blonde lady was helping another customer when I went to checkout. Guess I was the lucky one to get the rude employee lol. She was mid 20's and made me feel like crap. I remembered passing her in the aisles and she never so much as acknowledged me. When I went to checkout, she didn't say hi or anything. Asked if I had bags to which I said yes and awkwardly held them on one side of the counter. She didn't grab for them or direct me on where to put them instead just started bagging things in new bags? I said "I have bags" and then she said "well put them here" (on the other side). So then she keeps ringing my items up without so much as saying anything to me, but says hi to a customer checking out beside me. She finishes (I swear it PAINED her to do so by how much she huffed? Blonde lady comes over and helps her bag my items and blonde lady is super friendly.I leave and check my receipt. She didn't apply one of the coupons that was quite obviously hanging off the item. I go in and ask her if she could please apply. She says "well next time you need to ask me to do so". I awkwardly stand at the side of the counter while she fixes it and then she (again with attitude) says "come around here" to the other side of the counter. After all that and dropping way too much money on overpriced goods and feeling like a piece of dirt, I get home to find my groceries bagged so poorly. Bananas bruised, protein bars bent, eggs broken. There was no method at all to how she bagged my items. I wish she would've let me bag them. I thought it was common knowledge to put pantry things in one bag, and delicate or cold things in another. If she felt the bags I supplied wasn't enough she could've said "I want to make sure your items get home safely, are you opposed to more bags?". Instead half of my goods are damaged Anyways, the location is cute and I love their selection and two of the employees are nice, but this experience made me feel worse than dirt and that's pretty sad :)I know customer service is a hard job, but try to be kind

Last time I was there I went to order a smoothie and they let a customer cut in front of me, they did not care. I left. Today I decided to give them a second chance it was worse. The girl was on her phone the entire time instead of doing my order. I canceled it since she was too busy to make a smoothie! Jan's will forever have my business now!
