I always love stopping here when I'm out and about. Mixing Glass is a cute and classy liquor store with a beautifully curated selection. I like that here I don't get overwhelmed by too many choices, it helps me discover something new. They sell liquor, wine, snacks, pantry staples, plus multiple other odds and ends. The displays are sleek and aesthetically pleasing, which makes me feel like I'm in a rich person's pantry, haha.Staff isn't pushy but are always helpful when I need help finding something. Last visit I let staff know I was looking for a floral gin, they helped inform my selection and I left with Condesa Gin Prickly Pear & Orange Blossom. It tastes great with a mixer and comes in a pretty pink bottle! I love shopping here.

Mixing Glass has been my favorite place to get top shelf booze since they first opened in OC Mix. I get most of my stuff from them. When I heard they were moving to a new location and adding a market I was afraid they'd ruin the charm. Boy was I wrong. The charm has now increased. Not only do they still have a small but carefully curated selection of high end liquor but they've added their same expertise to a selection of wine, beer, and food. I was so happy with my food purchases that I returned a week later to buy more. The employees can answer any question about their products and are happy to tell you all about the distillery and how it's made. Great place to try something new. I bought some alcohol that's made using the same process as Mezcal but uses pineapples smoked in charcoal. It packs a big punch and made for some unique cocktails.Black truffle manchego, gourmet salami, buffalo milk feta, olives, snacks, banana fosters ice cream, so many choices I couldn't stop grabbing things. Every single item fantastic. I bought some French wine that paired fantastic with my gluttonous haul. Such a fantastic store and I'm so glad they kept their charm and took it to a whole new level. They also make some FANTASTIC gourmet sandwiches. They make a HUGE sandwich and then cut them up into nice size individual sandwiches and have them in the bakery case until the run out. They're pricey but oh so worth it. My Jamón ibérico with emanthaler, cornichons, and dijon was truly wonderful. They also have lots of bakery goodies. I loved the Kouign-Amann I consumed even though my waistline did not.FYI: The gold numbers hanging off the first booze bottle in the row is the price tag. I'm like "how much do these cost???? What are these numbers hanging off the bottles?!". So yea, felt kind of stupid when I learned those numbers were obviously the price tags.

More than a liquor store. This place is so cool! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Has a great unique selection of wine and spirits and at different price points. Even have zero proof selections as well and gourmet market finds. Scratch made bitters and syrups too. Finally got to try one of their artisan sandwiches. It did not disappoint. Tried the rosemary ham and Brie on a baguette. Wish it had a little more Brie and maybe less of the cherry spread. It was good the ham was really thin and was like prosciutto but I felt like it didn't need to have the cherry spread on both sides of the bread and it may have made the Brie get a little lost. Great flavors though. Great spot if you're planning a picnic. They will be your one stop shop for sure.

Cute neighborhood market with great, unique products for fancy gatherings! If I host a girls night or small gathering, I'd come here for charcuterie things and wine. The lady who was there in the evening was nice. I was impressed with their alcohol selection. The products here are definitely on the pricy side, but it's expected for charcuterie/alcohol. Overall, it's worth checking out!

What a cool little Gem in the heart of Orange County. This bodega has so many niché cocktails and specialty beverages and foods! The service is phenomenal and it's the kinda place you go to when you need a perfect little gift for a friend's birthday! They make a lot of in house items and the ambience is chill vibes. Armen helped me find fun quirky items like 39%abv old fashioned in a can. I can't wait to go back

I found out my friend's new girlfriend loved mezcal as much as I did, so of course I had to have a mezcal tasting with some friends new & old. I searched for mezcal and found no many places carry it. Not only that, but I was also in search of copitas & Sal de gusano (agave worm salt). The guy helping me at Hi-Time suggest The Mixing Glass.I'm so glad I called first because The Mixing Glass is no longer located at Soco and is now next door to The Port of Sounds Record Shoppe in the Marquee Shopping Center (Harbor/Adams). The woman who took my call was very informative and told me they had what I was looking for.The shop is so classy and modern. They have a nice selection of wine and liquor including mezcal! They unfortunately didn't have the copitas which mezcal is traditionally served in because someone came and wiped them out, BUT I did find the Sal de gusano (agave worm salt). They also had Sal de chapulin, but the guy helping me suggested to stick with the traditional which is worm salt. My mezcal tasting was a hit and I'm so thankful to have such a nice shop for my needs. I'll definitely be back because they had truffle popcorn I just have to try! Highly recommended!Enjoy!

If you're serious about spirits, the mixing glass is the place to shop. Found these guys back in the day at OC Mix and am happy to see they've grown and expanded. Their selection is unrivaled in the area and their boutique offering goes far beyond what you would find at BevMo. The owner, Gaby Dion (of Broadway fame) has put her heart into curating a selection of spirits crossing genres and flavor profiles. She's there often and it's great to pick her brain on the latest trends. Cocktail ideas fellow freely, which is always helpful!

Love this place! It's my go to for gifts for any occasion. Great selection of food and spirits that you kind find at the big box stores. The owner is so sweet and helpful. Do yourself and the community a favor and check it out.

This is the most awesome little gem of a market. The merchandise here is the kind of stuff you can't find anywhere else except by mail order here and there. The selection of unusual spirits like Bitters, Amaro, Aquavit, Absinthe and Calvados was remarkable. The quality of the Oils and the wines and the seasonings and the bar tools is exceptional. It's rare to find all these high-quality components in a single shop, and it's a real pleasure to be able to browse in-person through the selections that are available. Whoever the buyer is for this beautiful little market should be commended for their artistry in choices and selection of foods and spirits. Truly a culinary delight. I hope there's a solid clientele to help it stay in business because it's a very unique little retail space.
