Minute King Market & Deli

Back at it for world famous JWHayes BBQ! Came in around 2:40pm- big mistake not coming in earlier! Mac and cheese sold out, bbq beans sold out, and the ribs sold out! This place is a hidden gem and now that people are swarming in, it's selling out like crazy. Great thing because everyone should have one of everything on the menu. I wish I could recommend one thing but EVERYTHING is truly delicious! Today I went with the brisket and pulled pork. Served with Hawaiian bread and homemade bbq sauce. Service is fast and efficient. Inside the liquor store the ambiance is vibing and don't forget to pick up tequila to pair with your delicious bbq!

This place has a super cool owner running it, but also there is a secret popup that's no longer secret JW Hayes BBQ is open at 10:30 am until 4, however they sell out their BBQ way earlier than their hours now. It has to be the best bbq I have ever had next to heritage bbq.The Turkey was succulent, chicken Smokey, brisket tender and juicy, beef ribs fall off the bone Smokey, their brisket beans-to die for-no joke. Everything is fire.

Such cool people here. We stopped on our way to Disneyland to get snacks. Such a great variety of snacks and holy cow, great sandwiches! If we end up in the area again, we will be back! And I'm telling all of my local family!

I recommend the ribs and brisket here are on point. So is the mac and cheese and coleslaw. My wife is addicted

I never been here but I was reading the comments and is it me or is Pete M from Westminster a snow flake lol I mean what kinda weirdo gets that worked up over a dude that doesn't even know he exists lol. Seriously how the hell are you gonna make a liquor store deli, political. Anyway I'll swing by to try the BBQ the sandwiches look alright.

Sandwiches made from love, reminds me of the ones my mother made for me in grade school. Go with with the fresh made ones, as the ones from the fridge are mediocre. The store itself is well organized, easy to find items, and clean for the poor presence of the exterior. Overall, very happy here.

I've been shopping here since the 1980's. I would grab some Have A Chips, a drink and a pack of cigs. Now I pop in regularly for lottery tickets and am looking forward to trying out some weekend BBQ. I'm so happy Minute King is still here. It feels familiar, like home.

Not worth the drive...meat is steamed (presumably in foil wrap) but does have a good bark on it. Lacking flavor and proper smoke taste. Love good BBQ so had to check it out...got the brisket, everything else was out. The meat seemed like it had been in a sous vide or something. Won't be back.

Long Line. Sold out of Pulled Pork and a couple of side. I get it, super popular place. I purchased a pound each of the Brisket and Ribs. The Brisket was amazing. Excellent Smokey smell and taste. Extremely tender. The ribs were just OK. Surprised that the 3 ribs weighed 1 pound!! The people are super friendly, smiling all over the place. If there is one criticism, Value! 20.00 for a pound of Brisket and 36.00, (18.00/lb) as for 3 Ribs (pound?) Seems Pricey. If I ever return I would purchase the Brisket and probably try the sides. Overall experience 5 Star but price for me is prohibitive.

Best convenience store in the area with the best sandwiches, squaw bread which nobody has any more, broccoli cheese soup, mac & cheese, fantastic!
