My family and I decided to try out Mimi Garden for the first time and now I can't wait to go back! The pork and shrimp xlb's were amazing, too bad they had just ran out of the truffle, definitely will be back to try those. The service was also top notch, the two stars of the show were Jeff and Adrian, they were super helpful and were patient with all our questions. Super knowledgeable and they made us some great cocktails!

Just had lunch with a friend here today. I totally forgot to take pictures of food but still want to write a review. Food was amazing and Leo was very attentive:). We had soupy xlb ( pork), braised beef noodle soup, beef roll, Chinese broccoli and sesame balls. All so yummy! Not my first time but food has been consistently great. Only thing I wish they do is provide more napkins ( one thin paper napkin is not sufficient). Or better, provide cloth napkins.

I've eaten at Din Tai Fun located in Aria Resort and Casino (Las Vegas) and Mimi Garden gave me a meal (in a smaller intimate dining venue) which was generally comparable in menu offerings, presentation, taste and price point. My favorite item was the braised beef shank noodle soup (which can be a solid meal in and of itself). Our server, Adrian, did a great job of explaining the menu and making suggestions. Overall, we had a very pleasant dining experience and we'll certainly return.

What a fantastic find. We decided to try Mimi Garden in RSM and it was fantastic. The restaurant is clean with a positive and peaceful ambiance. We had multiple servers with Leo, Geoff and Anna who were kind, professional and knowledgeable. The menu is quite detailed and has accurate photos of each dish. We started with the sweet and sour soup which was hot and tasty. Then we ordered our entrees with the vegetable fried rice, beef and broccoli, orange chicken and bok choy with shitake mushrooms. The food and service is stellar. Definently a great find for quality Asian cuisine. Highly recommended

Not your typical neighborhood Chinese restaurant! Mimi Garden offers a variety of items, fun cocktails, and a more modern ambiance. Would be a great spot for a weekend dinner! Have dined in and ordered takeout from here. We really enjoyed the pan fried buns and beef rolls.Looking forward to trying their steamed dumplings and bao next time!

This was my 2nd visit in a week! That says it all! Last week my friend took me to lunch here for my birthday and we loved it! Forgot to do a check in. I loved it so much, brought my husband today. And he also loved it! I know, lots of love in this review! Ha! Great service and delicious food. Everything we ordered was done so well. We ordered several dishes just for the two of us so we would have leftovers. We also ordered the Hot and Sour soup which is full of flavor, very good. Forgot to take a pic. We're happy we heard they're opening one closer to us soon. Can't wait!

First meal of 2025! Was really craving some Din Tai Fung, but knew we would be asking for a long wait without a reservation on New Years. I was excited to see that there was Taiwanese food that seemed very similar to DTF right down the street in RSM! Here is what we ordered:Kurobuta Pork and Shrimp Wontons w/ Spicy Sauce: This was the highlight of the meal! The wontons were so flavorful and the spicy sauce was a great touch. I would say this was slightly spicer than the one from DTF, but nevertheless, just as good.Pan Fried Rice Cake w/ Shredded Pork $14: Large portion for the price! The pork and rice cake were soft and the perfect texture. There were lots of veggies than expected, but still a flavorful dish.Sweet and Sour Pork Baby Back Ribs $14.50: The ribs were decent. It is not as sticky as I imagined it to be. The sauce was all sitting at the bottom, so dipping the ribs in before eating it seemed to be the trick. Other than that, they were fall off the bone, but a bit dry for me. Pineapple Beef $14.50: This was probably my least favorite dish. It was very tangy with a bit of spice. Just not the flavor profile I was really looking for. What was pictured was definitely not what came out. Mango Grove Bliss $16: I enjoyed this drink. It reminded me of a good old Mango Calpico drink. It was pretty sweet, with not much alcohol tastee. I would say the drinks are a bit pricey for what you get. $16 for a drink compared to the plates that range from $12-15.Overall, we got seated immediately and the ordering process was all online. From the time we put our order into the time we got out food, it was about 5-10 minutes. The menu was definitely large and we did not get to try some of their staples such as the XLB and the pan fried dumplings. This is definitely a good choice to return to if you are in South OC and don't want to make the drive or to wait in line at DTF. Will probably be back!

Authentic gourmet Taiwanese cuisine in the heart of Rancho Santa Margarita.I never thought that would happen.Impeccable and attentive service. Classy decor and soothing music. Bustling kitchen with dumpling makers behind the glass. The XLB is top notch. Forget about DTF, this is much better at a fraction of the cost. Cha Siu Bao is done the way it is supposed to be. Red, sweet, tender pork in a creamy white bun. Crispy pan fried dumplings are superb. And the crispy beef rolls are slightly sweet with crunchy greens. Best part of my meal.Finish it all with shredded pork fried rice. Expertly crafted. No need to drive to Irvine, DTLA, or the San Gabriel valley. Superb Chinese cuisine is now in RSM.

OMG! DELICIOUS! Service was so great! The flavors were exploding with savory taste. Fresh crisp.: Super cute cozy place.. The family style fried rice is always heart shaped. Love the beef wraps with hoisin. Kung pow chicken was excellent. Pork and chive Wontons great! Black vinegar (wow) and soy table side.. couldn't speak highly enough. Great date place.. family style too. I think a great overall place..

Located somewhere in OC, Mimi Garden is a viable place to have XLB and well presented Chinese food and very friendly service.Came with a party of 7 and we all had plenty of dishes to try.XLB was good (4.5/5)Sticky rice was good (4/5)Fried rice was good (4/5)Egg roll with duck sauce was awesome-ite (3/5)The bok choy with shiitake mushrooms was good (3.5/5)The Xia Xia Mein didn't have much flavor (3/5)Green onion pancake was good (3.5/5)Crispy Beef roll w/cilantro was very good (4.5/5)Can't recall any other dish. The overall vibe is warm and friendly with plenty of space and this place was at least 90% occupied on a Sunday night. All in all, it was good and service was great but the flavors lacked something and everything seem somewhat bland for some reason. Everything was good but unremarkable. Would come here again though. All and all, 3.75 experience for me that I'll round up to 4 because of the friendly staff.
