Miguel's Jr - Tustin Market Place

I visited Miguel's Jr. for the first time this evening, but I was apprehensive about trying it in the first place just because of the overall rating. I'm honestly surprised by the wide contrast between 1-star and 5-star reviews given. The food was delicious and the employees at the drive-thru were super friendly. I really don't have anything bad to say! 5 stars well-deserved.I kept it simple and ordered their original burrito w/ shredded beef. This thing was huge but so worth it! I wonder how the other food on the menu compares, maybe I'll try something else next time.

Great food. Best chili rellenos anywhere. Fantastic prices, clean environment , and wonderful promotions. Why two stars?Rude employees. Unfriendly service. We have over 190 check ins at the Tustin Marketplace locations. We go there at least once a week. They have never said to me in 190 visits:How are you?Nice to see you again. Thanks for coming. Most times, they just approach the register and wait until I tell them my order. I once returned a burrito that was made wrong and the server threw it full force into the trash. I once asked for a plastic knife and she said, You mean a second knife? No, any knife. There is no warmth between long time customers and employees or ownership. There is something wrong internally here. You win the most unfriendly Restaurant in Orange County. This restaurant could learn customer service from Starbucks. People will return to places that are friendly. We like to be liked. Everyone else knows us at our frequently visited places, but never at Miguels. Ugh. Please learn customer service will improve this restaurant.

If it weren't for a coupon mailed to me when I moved to the area, I would probably never have set foot in Miguel's. Curiosity got the best of me, so I figured I'd try their garbage burrito to have a little bit of everything. Let's just say, the name was fitting. The ingredients tasted and felt cheap in my mouth, think discount bin kroger or dollar store taste. Even chain restaurant cheese and meat have more flavor and texture, granted they aren't trying to hide how synthetic they are.I also had my hopes up for the coffeechata, thinking it had to be fool proof. Sadly, the horchata was incredibly watered down and the "coffee" tasted like they added a half teaspoon of instant coffee into a 20 oz cup of whatever this thing was supposed to be.The only thing not tanking this review was the friendly service I received from everyone who genuinely seemed to enjoy each other's company, and the cleanliness of the seating area and restrooms.Overall, go in if you need something really quick and if you need to use the restroom given all other restaurants in Tustin Marketplace are usually packed. Otherwise, there's 3-4 similar food alternatives nearby.

Food is great, can't complain there but 21 min in the drive-through with only two cars in front of me?! Again the food is great, but it's almost not worth going when you're on a time crunch!

I was in the area and decided to give this place another chance I regret my decision.My order of a "Classic Burrito" with carne asada with a fountain drink was $14.79 if I recall correctly, so not a good value. The burrito consisting mostly of rice and refried beans was disgusting. The application of a copious amount of hot sauce didn't improve it. I tried a few bites and threw the remainder in the trash where it belonged.

Ordered a breakfast taco with potatoes, extra cheese, no bacon and green hot sauce. Got no cheese or hot sauce. The potatoes were soggy and gross and tasted like they'd been marinated in dog food. Most disgusting, disappointing breakfast taco in the history of breakfast tacos. Won't be doing that again.

Sorry to say..... I LOVE Miguel's Jr. BUT, the last THREE times I have ordered Polsole to go, which I LOVE Posole!!!! My order was messed up each and every time... REALLY!? 1st the red hot sauce was missing that was on the receipt, 2nd the onions were missing (OMG NO ONIONS!?) then tonight was strike three... 3) the order came with pork and not chicken AS ORDERED. For crying out load! Wassup with that!?!?! But, I have survived, cuz it was still good without the missing items.

Found some plastic inside my crane asada burrito! The food is good but what is up with this?!?! You guys need quality control asap before someone ends up chocking to death!

I just had their street taco with Carne Asada which cost me over $4.75 and when I delivered to my table, it was wrapped in aluminum foil that when picked up I questioned if there's anything inside, it was so small. It comes on a soft corn tortilla about the size of a silver dollar with four small chunks of beef, similar to what like you would get an a can of Campbell's beef vegetable soup. And that's about all that's on there so just beware when you order it and just don't walk up and order a taco or else you'll get that you have to be very specific as they have Several to pick from. Also, they are very busy so it might take 20 minutes to get your food if you walk in. I did not complain while I was there as my wife and I were laughing so hard when I opened it that it was worth that amount in belly laughs ! They do have good burritos and the taquitos that are reasonably priced.

Always a 5 star when we come to eat. This is our go to spot when we are on the way home from Disney. The food is always hot and delicious. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is always clean. I prefer to order inside as Iv noticed the drive thru can take awhile sometimes. Other than that, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu!
