Miguel's Jr

I grew up on Miguel's Jr. This Mexican fast-food concept originated in my hometown, so I've always considered eating here as a nostalgic experience. Those of us who grew up in Corona were blessed by the fast food gods. Our high school and middle school lunch menus even included bean and cheese and BRC burritos. It's only right that my new home in Huntington Beach is only miles away from a Miguel's Jr. I typically order their garbage burrito with chicken or the chicken taquitos. Both are consistently delicious and hit the spot every time! Plus, you can't skip out on their tasty red and green salsa. After all these years my only disappointment is their retirement of the Orange Bang beverage. Either way, I won't pass up an opportunity to hit up this iconic fast food joint.

I was on a work trip and was looking for something to eat for lunch. I found out about this place through a social media influencer. I utilized the drive thru and was greeted by the staff. I ordered an avocado bowl. The avocado bowl consists of beans, lettuce, rice, avocado and carne asada. The bowl came with green salsa. The bowl was delicious and the meat was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The drive thru ambiance is customer friendly. The prices for the food is reasonable.

This location has 3.2 stars on Yelp as of my visit today. I've recently decided to give this place another shot as it's so close to me.Today's visit didn't go so well. The issue here is if you pay extra for extra cheese you don't get what you paid for.This has happened the last 3 times here. I left a 1 star review about 6 years ago. And here I am leaving another 1 star review. My 1 star review will join the other 1 star reviews this location has. No matter how close or how hungry I am, I and my family will never enter this establishment again.I will also advise against eating here if anyone asks my opinion of this restaurant. I literally stopped eating my lunch to go up to the counter and get my dollar back as they admitted that no extra cheese was added....Miguel's Jr you failed!! Again.

I found myself Ubering through Huntington Beach, feeling hungry and drawn to Miguel Junior's, a spot I'd often passed but never tried. Stepping inside, I was immediately struck by the immaculate interior--air-conditioned, clean, with soothing sky blue walls and light wood accents, evoking a pleasant beachy vibe fitting for its location. The attentive staff greeted me warmly, and even the restroom maintained the same level of cleanliness, a surprising rarity for a fast-food joint.As I perused the menu, I was impressed by the genuine quality of the offerings. Opting for a crispy beef taco sans cheese due to my lactose intolerance, along with a chicken corn tortilla street taco, chips, and chunky guacamole, I was not disappointed. The salsa and guacamole were particularly standout, adding an extra kick to my meal.What struck me most about Miguel Junior's was its authenticity. Despite being fast food, it felt like I was dining in someone's home--comfortable, welcoming, and serving up genuinely delicious fare. While the original Miguel's is a full-service restaurant, Miguel Junior's drive-through and dine-in setup cater perfectly to those on the go, without compromising on quality or flavor.In conclusion, if you're in Huntington Beach and craving a quick, satisfying meal that feels like a home-cooked treat, look no further than Miguel Junior's. And don't forget to ask for the chunky guacamole--it's yummy!

My favorite Mexicans food restaurant since I was a kid. BRC burrito, wet is the best!

Miguel's is about the only fast food that is not really "fast" food. It is tasty and the portions are decent. Today I went through the drive through and had the 2 for $10.00 burritos. Chicken, rice, beans, cheese. MOSTLY rice and beans. Not too much chicken. Which is kind of cheating. If you offer two burritos don't make them full of rice.At least be fair, I ate them through out the day. A bit dry but SOOOO MUCH better than Del Taco or Taco Bell. I will return. They get 4 stars because the food is good. The tortilla's are nice and fresh. Not sure if they make them there but they were better than most.

Their customer service is amazing (except at night time ) They make their own chips every day!! One of my Favorite spots in HB!It's a nice drive thru place and eating inside is cool too.Love the tacos the best and the best hot sauce in town for sure hands down.

Best lemonade ever!!They have always had pozole at Christmas, but it is on their regular menu. Through the drive-through and home.with all the little goodies for the top. Very Good!!

The service was great seeing everyone with a smile on their face very welcoming! Loved having my order taken by Arely and Edith they were so nice and very helpful like always!
