I've been here 10 years ago and had a great time then. Decided to do our girls dinner here this past Friday night and had a fabulous time. I made reservations online and arrived right at 8pm. Hostess were friendly and very helpful. My 2 friends were late and I was still able y get seated right away, love that about Mesa. The restaurant is still just as trendy and beautiful as I remembered. Our waitress was lovely, attentive and friendly. Our dinners were delicious except my salmon was a bit too salty for me. The lychee martinis were AMAZING just as I remembered. Enjoyable night out with my girlfriends, still highly recommend if you haven't been. They have valet for $20 or public parking available. Valet is always the way to go for me. FYI, you need your ID to get in even if you're just there for dinner because it turns into a club at 10pm.

I was super excited to celebrate my birthday with my girls on Valentine's Day weekend. Unfortunately, my experience was tainted by both poor security management and an incident of racial harassment. At one point during the night, a security guard with a flashlight was running (chasing someone?) and forcefully ran into me, leaving me with a large bruise on my arm. Accidents happen, but there was no acknowledgment or apology from the staff. We were so shocked when it happened. In retrospect, I would've approached staff about it, but we were all so stunned and still processing. Shortly after, I was subjected to a racial slur from another patron. He called me a f***ing ch*nk as he entered the venue. The incident happened in a quieter, more visible area, right next to the entrance and the patio. I wish I had reported it in the moment, but I felt unsafe and unsupported in a new environment. And the experience was so shocking and jarring in the moment. We quickly left. The venue itself has potential--good music and a nice ambience--but these experiences left me feeling unwelcome and deeply disappointed. At first, we were so excited to celebrate my birthday, and each of invested into the business/the night, buying multiple drinks. We were ready to make this a new go-to spot until other people's carelessness and hatefulness left us stunned that night.

I was invited to a birthday celebration at Mesa, and it was a fantastic experience. The DJ was on point, and I really enjoyed the music. We had a section along the back wall, which provided plenty of space and a comfortable atmosphere. I ordered two lemon drops, and they were made to perfection. Overall, it was a great night, and I would definitely return.

Love Mesa as we have been coming here for almost a decade. Every single time it's a hit the moment we hand over our car keys to an amazing guy at Valet to our service. Service is always on top. Very professional. Food is pretty good too and not to mention their cocktails. Try a date night on Wednesday as they have Jazz and happy hour all night. It's a very nice ambiance too.

This place is the vibe! Been wanting to visit since everyone is talking about it. As we stepped in, a glass of champagne poured for us feeling like VIPs. Loved how it was decorated inside. Lights were dimmed for a more intimate setting. Appalled with outstanding service given at the bar. My friend and I ordered the brussels sprouts as an appetizer. Full of flavors with an outside crunch! One of the best I have ever tried. House margaritas were fire very refreshing quenching our thirst. Heard this spot is popping for the night club after certain hour, but sadly to say we had left before it began. Until next time will definitely stay for some dancing. Fun environment for a girls night out!

Came here on a Thursday and it was busy! It's hard to find spots during the week that will be upbeat but we have found it at Mesa. The drinks were delicious and very cute. Didn't get a picture but we had the fries and sliders both were good. The music is R N B and hip hop. Mesa starts really going off about 10pm. We left about that time and the line was already going past the building. They also have valet for $20 right at the entrance.

My friend took me here for my birthday and wow, it was very nice good vibes. they came out with sparklers. Singing me. Happy birthday, so cool. The food was delicious The steak was out of this world. They have a lounge area with couches& a back area if you want to smoke, which I don't, but I wanted fresh air, just a little too smoky out there, so I had to go back inside, other than that everything was top-notch, there's service and the atmosphere was off the chain. And I don't even want to talk about the DJ he was playing all party jams, just a nice variety the place is a touch pricey, but which place isn't pricey nowadays, but because the quality was so amazing. I really didn't mind paying. I can't wait to go back

It was my first time here last night and I had a great experience. I went during Jazz night, they first greeted us at the front and offered us some wine on the house. The restaurant itself is so beautiful inside and the staff is very friendly and attentive. My date and I had the 3 course meal for less than 40 dollars each! Drinks on the menu were also reasonably priced. The food was delicious. The whole experience and environment was beautiful.

Mesa is a bar located in downtown Costa Mesa just behind John Wayne Airport. There's a parking lot with self-parking or valet parking; there's also street parking in the area. When we walked in we were greeted with complimentary rosé. You can make reservations online but the bar is open seating. The interior was pretty interesting with three different sections and vibes. On one side is a restaurant with tables, the middle is the bar with bar seats and a countertop, and the other side is a lounge-y area surrounding a giant tree.My first drink was the monte carlo ($18) which was very good and like an old fashioned. My second drink was the lavender haze ($18) which was like a cross between a gold rush and a whiskey sour. We also ordered the hand cut fries ($10) which were good; they also had an option for thick cut fries if you prefer those.Later on in the night, the bar area turned into standing room only and it became sort of a club. When we left we saw a line out the door to get in so this bar has all the vibes you might want. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and this is a great place for a night out.

Started with the classic Caesar salad and did not disappoint. We ordered the Steak Frites with chimichurri and they were pretty delicious. But the second dish we ordered was the Salmon with some undesirable sides that didn't really redeem the overcooked almost rubbery fish. I really tried to enjoy this but I just couldn't get over the quality. Luckily we were able to send it back and we got the Wine Braised Short Rib that was so mouth watering I forgot all about the Salmon. I have been thinking about it ever since the mashed potatoes and vegetables were amazing! Very dark cute ambiance turns into a club after a certain hour
