Mariela's Tacos and Mexican Antojitos

I decided to write a review for this place because they are so underrated. I was passing by and saw this place which had no frills on the outside but I decided to take a chance to try something new and I'm so glad I did! The food looks and smells amazing right when I walked in. What caught my attention were the pictures of the food on the walls I had no idea what I was going to order but the pictures really made me decide. I got the asada sopes and Pambazo. Even when I traveled to three different parts of Mexico I've never heard of that so of course my curious palette wanted to try that immediately. So glad I took a chance because it looks amazing I can't wait to try it and let you guys know how it tastes. I couldn't even wait to go home to get this place a review because I feel like it's a gym hole in the wall. This place reminds me of my travel to Mexico. Nobody talks, they just eat and enjoy their food and get out

Good deal for good tacos! A great hole in a wall restaurant. Accidentally came in after they closed but they were accommodating. Will come again soon!

I've been coming here for years. I discovered it when I used to work at the nearby mom and pop pharmacy. Marta makes everything fresh, including the tortillas and sopes with fresh masa daily! Always made to order, never with the premade sope shells. I LOVE her salsas. I wish she bottles them bc I would buy a case! She makes fresh juices too. Depending on my mood I get the Jamaica or melon. My go to are two asada sopes. If I'm feeling extra fatty I get suadero. When I'm craving Mexico City style food this is my spot. It's a hole in the wall but that's when you know the food is good!

Very good Mexican good. The flavors are top notch. The service is incredible. The ambiance is small, clean and welcoming. I've tried the tacos, huarache. The meat is well seasoned. The salsa is fresh. If I could I would eat here every day.
