I am just wondering for the past months, the taste of your dishes starts to taste sweet. Though the lumpia and pansit still at its best taste.

My friends & I ordered a tray of lumpia for a friend's housewarming party nearby. The lady on the phone was so sweet & let us know to get there early so they could make it for us fresh. When we got there we also ordered takeout of diniguan & menudo. Both were amazing!! I'm a big diniguan girlie & was impressed. Overall, the store was clean, lots of snacks & other things to buy if you needed them & the food was great. Will probs stop by for a plate lunch next time!

Manila Food Mart is an authentic Filipino comfort food haven in South OC! Wifey and I were in search of some authentic home style Filipino eats for Filipino American History Month (FAHM) and we knew this was the place to check out. This spot is located in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots. Inside, this spot doubles as a mini mart and a restaurant all in one! They have about 3-4 tables for seating surrounded by a bunch of packaged goodies. In the front, they have their section of all their hot foods for the day. I would definitely recommend coming earlier in the day as most of the popular stuff may be bought out. Wifey and I opted to get a la carte orders of the Chicken Skin, BBQ Chicken Skewers, Bicol Express, Sitaw, and Ginataang Bilo Bilo. Everything we had hit the spot and was perfect paired with some home cooked garlic rice! Overall, this spot is definitely a gem for those in South OC craving for some authentic and comforting Filipino eats! All of the staff here are beyond friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back for more good eats and to support a local Filipino owned business!

I was wanting to try authentic Filipino food and saw this gem on Yelp and decided to give it a try. I got the two items combo ($13.99 in October 2024) and opted for half rice/half pancit with lechon (+$1) and stir fry beef (don't know the official name). Both were good but the beef and the sauce were delishhh over rice. Pro tip - keep the leftover sauce (I poured it over cooked diced potatoes the next day at home ).Pancit was really good as well! Lechon was decent (meat was tender inside), but felt overly salty (not sure if this is just how lechon is supposed to taste, as it's my first trying it lol).Lastly, finished with some halo halo, with the bomb ube ice cream mixed in. I'll def come back here next time Im craving Filipino food.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I called in an order at the Manila Food Mart, but I decided to save myself some cooking time and ordered some Filipino food to go for a dinner with friends! Got the Pancit Bihon, Lumpia Shanghai (which they nicely offered to do as a half-and-half of pork and chicken), and some delicious pork skewers. The flavors were fantastic, and everything tasted incredibly fresh. The place had a charming mini mart vibe, making it a perfect one-stop shop for a variety of delicious options. The service on the phone and in house was great! Give them a visit!

Was randomly craving pancit for lunch and I never really eat Philippino food . I came at 12ish and it wasn't too crowded. I got the one item combo with all pancit ($1 more if you want pancit only and not rice) and lechonLechon- 2/5The skin was crispy and delicious but the pork was so dry it was almost inedibleWould not get it againPancit-4/5Really good with pieces of chickenCoconut water with jelly- 5/5Overall good for the price! They give a cash discount and it's a great fast lunch for $14!I'd love to try the chicken adobo next time!

As a Filipina, I can confidently say that the food here is definitely worth trying. The service is efficient, with customers lining up to place their orders. They offer combo deals, and cash payments provide a discount on items. We ordered three combos, which allowed us to sample eight different dishes, all for just $50. The staff is very accommodating, providing additional utensils, to-go boxes, and bags upon request. I highly recommend trying the Sinigang and Bangus, as they are among my favorites and taste nearly as good as my mom's. I was so impressed, I looked like I hadn't eaten in days!

Their dinuguan and lechon kawali are SO GOOD. Seriously. I went here for lunch and raved about it to my boyfriend since I'm picky about both. I loved that their dinuguan had both meaty and fatty pieces, and their lechon kawali was perfectly hot, crunchy, and flavorful. So good even without mang tomas! I can't wait to come back to get more.

My husband is Filipino so I know a little about Filipino food and let me tell you, the pancit is top tier!!! I do wish the servings were bigger because it's so good that I eat it as a main dish haha. They have lots of other dishes but once you try the pancit, it's all you'll want! Craving some now...
