Ambiance- clean spot with cute decor. They even have a real changing tableService - friendly and fast.Food - plenty of food and choices and great portion size. Got the bhel..crunchwrap like taco bell but better with roti and your choice of filling. I got paneer and spinach. I also got a salty Lassi. Prices were reasonable too and kids menu too. Love the inso fusion idea.

This place is still so good. Ordered a butter chicken burrito (rice only) with masala tots, husband ordered a kadai lamb burrito (lettuce and rice). Both were delicious. Will note that I ordered "very mild" and my husband ordered "medium" but the spice level was about the same to both of us haha. I sweat my way through it. I am the kind of person that finds black pepper to be spicy and generally avoid spicy food, but I get a hankering for these burritos and am willing to suffer.Love this place, hope it sticks around forever.

I got take-out from Maast Indian for a girl's night and the food was amazing. Comfort food in a nutshell. It's indulgent for sure, but worth it. This place is perfect for a low-key night out or to grab food from for a cozy night in. You absolutely have to get the mac & cheese and one of the grilled sandwiches. The mac & cheese was creamy and well-spiced, while the sandwich was grilled to buttery perfection and stuffed. I'm a huge fan of Indo-Western fusion food and was happy with the balance of flavors. I suggest upgrading your side of masala fries, it made allll the difference. Absolutely delicious. Big fan. And now one of my go-to spots in OC!

Bumping to five stars. Maast really came through for a large catering event we were hosting at the office for about 50 people. Their ordering process, transparent pricing and packaging and pick up on the day was immaculate. Throughout the process, they were so easy to reach and provided me lots of recommendations on how to make the menu work for 50 people and the budget. The food was a hit at our event. We ordered samosas, loaded tater tots, and tandoori paneer and chicken sandwiches, and mango lassi. Everything was really good and people were clamoring to take leftovers home. Thank you to the entire team !!

I was recommended this place by one of my Indian clients, so I had to try it. The order was kind of large and the most I've ever paid for Indian, but it was worth it. It was $60 for me and my partner, and I was pretty stuffed and had to take most of it to-go.The employee made sure to give us a to-go menu and a bag before we left. This is one of those places you have to return to, so you can try their entire menu. The mac and cheese sounded promising, but the flavor was a little unfitting. I think a different curry would have gone better with it. I loved the lamb curry and will be back to have it again in the near future!

Maast Indian is serving up some delicious modern Indian fusion food! This spot is located in a plaza with other food spots and a good amount of parking spots. Once you walk in, they have a self-ordering kiosk on the left side of the shop. They have about 3-4 tables for seating as well. They have a large selection of customizable dishes to choose from. You can customize a curry bowl, burrito, grilled sandwich, parathadilla (paratha quesadilla), or munchwrap (crunch wrap). We got a butter chicken burrito, butter chicken parathadilla, a tandoori chicken munchwrap, and a mango lassi. The portions were so generous and everything was super flavorful and delicious! Overall, this spot is definitely a must try for those looking to try fast casual and modern South Asian cuisine. All the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back to try more items and to make some new customizations!

Just an update to say when I'm in the area I always stop by. Love this burrito - have told many others about this location and a family run business we need to support in Irvine!

I had been wanting to check out this place for a while. Mexican/Indian fusion just sounded like the most random yet amazing coupling ever. The restaurant is located in a small business area strip with a 7-Eleven. I found parking with no problem. I arrived around 2pm so place was pretty empty except for two other customers. It is not very big inside but there was plenty of seating at that time, also it looked very clean and we'll organized with simple yet pretty decor. We were greeted by a gentleman possibly the owner? who handed us a menu and told us to order at the counter when ready. The menu had alot of tasty options and I settled on a Munchwrap with chicken and a tandoori sauce , it's basically their version of a Taco Bell Crunchwrap. It was just as good as I hoped it would be crispy flour tortilla with a crunchy inside filled with delicious flavorful chicken , lettuce and sauce of your choice. We also ordered a side of their tots and samosas and they did not disappoint, so flavorful hot and crispy. To drink we had the Mango Lassi and Chai drink both were good but the Mango Lassi was delicious. So if your having trouble deciding between Indian and Mexican why not do both!! ;)

When I heard that Maast Indian had Indian burritos, I had to visit. With the grim state of Mexican food in Irvine, I was eager to find somewhere to get my burrito fix. Maast's customizable burritos filled my cravings for a handheld meal. You choose a protein (chicken, lamb, paneer, cauliflower, potato or tofu), filling, rice/lettuce or both, and spice level. Tomato and onion are included, if you like. They are a little on the pricey side ($16) but they are big and a meal in itself. My go to is the chicken+spinach+rice+medium spicy and lettuce combo. My spice-loving husband likes the paneer+65 (spicy sauce)+rice+hot spicy. For what it's worth, they use Halal meat, which is a good sign.I've been curious to try their Munchwrap and their Parathadilla, not to mention their Mac & Cheese. The restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly. I've since had Indian burritos at a couple of other places but Maast is my fave!

Okay Maast, I have a complaint to get out of the way before I get to the review.Where have you been all my life? Took me all of my idk, 30 years on the planet to finally find you? I need to file some paperwork or something... It's been no less than a year that my friends have been recommending to me "Indian nachos" which I thought at first was a joke but ended up being not only being real, but simply amazing. Headed over to Maast after a visit to Bass Pro Shops across the street and was pleasantly surprised. Loved the simple and cozy shop and the people inside. The lady at the counter was super friendly and recommended the nachos and samosas. No argument from us, we ordered them right up. By the way, it was noted that the chips were more flavorful on the homemade ones and not the tortilla chip version. Good amount of crunch, with the sauces on top filling up your mouth with all kinds of blended flavors of buttery goodness. Samosas were balances very well with the outer crispiness with the potato filling. Dipping them in the red sauce with what I think was tamarind was yet another experience of flavor. This is what I think Maast is about for me, everything there is just so rich and tasty and everything goes together. We also ended up getting the parathdilla which I had no idea what it was. Kinda a cross between a quesadilla and gordita? Not sure how to describe it, I am sure I am not doing it justice. It was another delicious dish. Overall I will absolutely, ABSOLUTELY be back. Prices are fair, service and food are great. Five stars. No question about it. Worth it.
