I ordered to-go from this place last minute after searching for sushi spots in the area. When I called, the young man who took my order over the phone sounded disinterested and impatient, which made the experience feel rushed. Despite this, I ordered the house special roll with no masago, and the sushi itself was fresh and delightful. While the food was great, the phone service didn't match that quality, leaving me a bit disappointed. However, when I went inside to pick up my order, the atmosphere was quite busy, so it seems the in-person service may be better than my experience on the phone.

I came here for lunch with my mom on a weekday during my lunch break because it is super close to me and it was open for lunch. It has great reviews so I had high hopes!Service: 5/5 waitress was nice and attentive but not hovering around. Complimentary amuse Bouche (some type of fried or baked roll?) and the complimentary dessert (slices of apple with crunchy peanut butter and chocolate sauce) were good and a nice welcomed surprise! Ambiance: 4/5 it is clean and has a nice decorWe were the only people there for lunch (got there when it opened so it was like 11:30-12:30) on a weekdayFood: 2/5 overallMiso soup: 4/5 decent flavor and liked the tofu seaweed and green onions in itSoft shell crab: 3/5 it was too heavily breaded for my taste, the one at Eats sushi is way better Tuna cut roll (tekka maki): 1/5 you have to ask for the seaweed on the outside (which is what I like and am used to) and it comes with a bunch of sesame seeds which I didn't like. Tuna quality was pretty poor, I didn't finish it and took it to go to not offend the chef.Salmon sashimi: 3/5 not great but not bad. 6 slices for $20, pricier side especially for mediocre quality.My mom got the chirashi ($25, comes by itself, no miso soup or salad). She took more than half home (and threw it out). Quality overall was sub par which was disappointing for $90 lunch for two.

This is now my second time dining in and I've each once for takeout. Each time the fish has been fresh and delicious! I'm picky when it comes to sushi and Love doesn't disappoint.The service is always friendly and fast. I love that when dining in they give you a complementary starter and at the end of the meal you get sliced apples with peanut butter. I highly recommend to anyone coming to RSM. Love is our staple for sushi when at home. The vibe is calm and local. Nothing over the top and just good time with great food.

Best sushi in all of Orange County. The owners are so involved. The fish is always fresh. Service friendly and efficient. Ambiance perfect. Whenever I'm in town, I don't skip this place. Their rolls are spectacular. I highly recommend the Fantasy roll and Baja Yellowtail roll (if you like spice).

Love Sushi welcomed us in super nicely, and they made sure to welcome every person who came in, which really added to the warm atmosphere. They even gave us a small sushi tasting when we sat down, which was so nice of them. I got the Bulgogi, which is my go to probably the best bulgogi out their honestly. My boyfriend had the spicy seafood ramen, and he really enjoyed it. The sushi roll we tried was great, like a mix of a volcano roll and spicy tuna roll.The service was friendly, and they checked on us regularly. The whole place had a nice, clean vibe with low lighting, making it perfect for a casual date. Definitely a spot we always come back to!

So disappointed tonight. We ordered simple tonight; spicy tuna and love specialty rolls. Both husband and I couldn't finish a single roll and ended up throwing it in the trash. Tuna was fishy and rice was too sweet. Was hoping to find a local spot to visit regularly. Will not be returning.
