Fruit and vegetable stand along Santiago Canyon Rd, near Salem Lutheran Church and School.I drive by this stand often but this is the first time I've stopped and checked it out. I was aware from their signs on the street that they carry strawberries and avocados, but just found out today that they carry flower bouquets too! Needed a bouquet for Mother's Day so it worked out for me. They have several bouquet price points depending on size and variety ($30, $22, $15, $6 etc). I picked the $22 bouquet. The lady working the stand was nice and pleasant and will cut the flower stems for you if you want (I did this so my flowers have a fresh cut and shorter stem). The items here are more expensive than the neighborhood supermarket but you're supporting a small business.

I love this local farmstand. Great local fruits but my favorite are their watermelons . I tried them for the first time couple of years ago now I can't wait for watermelon season. I believe they bring them from Bakersfield. They are so juice with fresh crunch. Kids love them.Hours of operation have been challenging to figure our sometimes. They are only posted inside of the store and change with seasons. Other then that I love this local gem.

I've been to this business twice. the first time we were helped by a young woman who was very polite. The produce we purchased was fine. however, our second visit was atrocious. We entered on the side where the flowers are sold. The older woman on that side was so shockingly rude, we didn't even make it to the side with the produce. She acted like we were bothering her and rolled her eyes at me and smirked when I started to ask a questions. I didn't even get the question out! By the way, we were being very polite. When I encounter behavior like this at a business it's a hard pass for me. it lets me know that for whatever reason they don't care about or can't be bothered with my business. No thanks.
