Lamplight Lounge provided us a near perfect meal. I can honestly say that every dish we ordered was great. The service was excellent as we got our water cups constantly refilled which is important to consider on a dehydrated Disney trip. They also had these cute disney themed coasters that we decided to keep as souvenirs. Our server even gave us extras that had additional designs. We ordered the Potato skins, Chicken saltado, Charbroiled Cheddar burger and the Vietnamese BBQ pork chop. No complaints for any of these dishes as they were each good in their own way. The Potato skins were crispy with some chewiness and paired really well with the yogurt and aioli sauces. The citrus marinated chicken in the Chicken saltado was juicy and tender and the accompanied Aji sauce brought the dish to life. I usually don't go for chicken dishes because the chicken ends up being dry but I'm glad to have made an exception for this. The Charbroiled cheddar burger was cooked to medium-rare perfection and the sharpness of the cheddar complimented the beef flavor well. The fries it came with were crispy and flavorful. To be honest, the BBQ flavor of the Vietnamese BBQ pork chop didn't taste special as someone who's eaten his fair share of Asian barbeque meats, but it's really hard to knock this dish when the spicy garlic noodles are this flavorful. The noodles more than make up for the mediocre flavor of the pork chop.Overall, I think your Disney trip would be incomplete without a visit to Lamplight Lounge in Pixar Pier. The service and food were both excellent and definitely made our trip better. Just remember to make reservations.

Food? Probably 2 stars. Views? 5 stars.Lobster nachos: what's with the texture of the chips? Too hard & overly toasted. Lobster had 0 flavor.Cauliflower wings: sauce is too sweetFish tacos: tasted like it got deep fried 7 times. Could barely taste the fish Service was fantastic tho of course because it's Disney... but please up your food game Would definitely also appreciate if you had a nonalcoholic beer option. Our server mentioned that many people ask for it but they're the only restaurant in Disney that doesn't serve nonalcoholic beer. Lost opportunity for ya'll...

This is easily the best dining restaurant in the parks! If you can, try to get reservations in advance since seating may be unavailable throughout the day! They do however accept walk ins and we by chance got lucky and only waited 15 mins! Its such an experience walking in! Theres so much lovely decor of pixar themed characters displayed! A ton of art! So lovely! We got the charbroil cheddar burger and chilaquiles! I'm not exaggerating when I say these are the best Chilaquiles I've ever tasted! And it's not even close! I'd highly recommend that dish if your wondering what to get! We loved the service here! Most cast members working are so kind and patient! And here it was no different! No issues with anything! We were taking care of very well!

Long gone are the days where we only came to Lamplight Lounge to eat the infamous Lobster Nachos. Those are only served on the Boardwalk area and you'll find a complete menu with various appetizers and entrees at the actual Lamplight Lounge restaurant. Like any sit-down restaurant in Disneyland, if you don't have a reservation, then you're best bet is to start lining up before it opens to add your name to the waitlist. We got there early enough and only had to wait 10 minutes for a table. Everything is through texts so feel free to walk around the area while you're waiting. Just make sure you're back within 10 minutes of receiving the "ready" text.Brussels Caesar: I was honestly surprised by how delicious the Brussels were. I didn't expect a theme park restaurant to have high quality vegetable dishes but this was one of my favorite things we ordered. The brussels sprouts are roasted to a crisp, but not too burnt. And it stayed crispy despite the dressing mixed in. Highly recommend as a dish to share.Potato Skins: Misleading name because these weren't actually potato skins. They were like large, medallion-shaped hash browns. So good and crispy though! Comes with 5 pieces but it's easily split if you have a mismatched amount of people. And the paprika aioli and caper yogurt were perfect!Charbroiled Cheddar Burger: This tasted exactly what you would expect from an amusement park. It was a big burger and it came with a side of fries. But the patty was dry and lacking flavor. Vietnamese BBQ Pork Chop: Not sure if this was a special dish they had out for the Lunar New Year celebrations but it seemed interesting to try. The garlic noodles that comes with the dish is really good but the pork was just alright. It was a little dry and the char siu flavor tasted really artificial. Green Tea Donuts: Also not sure if this was special for LNY but we had to get it! Comes with 5 pieces and they're just regular donuts dipped in a really good matcha sauce. I was impressed and would get it again! I had a much better experience this time but not all of the food hit expectations. I wouldn't say it's worth waiting over an hour though so plan appropriately to have a reservation.

We booked the last available reservation time slot at 8:10pm so we could enjoy World of Color during dinner. We were seated outside in cozy seats with a fire in the middle of our table which was nice for the cold weather. Service felt really rushed since they were taking last calls around 8:45pm, our server ended up forgetting to put in the green tea donuts we had wanted for dessert which was disappointing. It was also my birthday so I thought it was strange they did not comp anything and also rushed us through our dinner. For food, our table split the brussels caesar, which was pretty tasty, though I would have liked the brussels sprouts to be crispier. They were soggy like they had been sitting for a while, but the caesar sauce made up for it in flavor. We also wanted to order the potato skins but we were told they had run out of it. I got the burger, which was nothing special for $26. I think the meat could have been cooked a little longer, the middle was not warm enough. The fries were the standout part of my entrée, perfectly crispy and had a really good seasoning that was sweet and savory on the outside. Our table also split a bottle of wine, which we found to be one of the better alcohol deals we saw at the park. I'd come back just to have some wine and get a good seat for World of Color, but the food and service definitely missed the mark.

I'm giving my honest review here. I thought the host/hostess service was great. They're so kind and accommodating. If you're unable to use stairs, they have an elevator to take you up and down. The ambiance is amazing, we asked for a view and we were sat, bar style, right at the water. It was so nice to look at the water and watch the Ferris wheel. However, our service wasn't the best, the food took forever and we were really hungry, and they don't have lobster nachos downstairs, which we didn't know at the time of making our reservation. My daughter and I ordered cheeseburgers and fries. They were standard. My brother got a pork chop dish that he really liked, it just didn't agree with my palate. I also want to add that the menu is incredibly small with not a lot to choose from. I recommend looking at the menu before you go to make sure they have something you like. The first come first serve area upstairs has a different menu than downstairs in the dining room.

Service was great! Not much vegetarian items in outside bar area, they have changed the menu. But the view is great and the drinks are great. They are strong so beware.

SO SAD ABOUT THE NEW MENU :( Lamplight Lounge was one of my favorite places to eat! I LOVED getting the lobster or steak nachos, some potato skins, and a kung pao bao. Looks like as of Jan 2025, they've revamped the menu a bit. They've removed the nachos altogether! The nachos are now only available upstairs. They've also added new menu items which are good, don't get me wrong. But not as good as the menu before! Seems like they're trying to be more high end and have all the bar-type food upstairs. We were still able to order drinks from the secret menu. So I was happy to drink my usual Sea Witch. This time we got the Brussels Caesar, Vietnamese BBQ Pork Chop, Chicken Saltado, and Potato Skins. We also got the seasonal green tea donuts. The potato skins and Brussels were fantastic (as always). The other two entrees were good and tasty! But nothing mind blowing. The green tea donuts were yummy and had good flavor, but were really hard on the bottom so the texture was definitely off. Overall, this menu change is NOT it for me. I think the past menu was stronger! I think from here on out, eating at boardwalk dining will be the way to go.

Lamplight Lounge is technically 1 of 2 dining spots with the same kitchen utilized, but here we are. Yesterday was the first time I've been able to get reservations ahead of time for this restaurant ever. They are usually booked up or not available in the time frame I have needed, so this was a fun surprise and I had to take advantage. My daughter and I parked our stroller easily out front and headed inside for our table. It's a bit awkward having to head downstairs and check in below. I didn't quite love the set up for the host stand because if both were gone, you wouldn't know where to go when you head downstairs. The view on the staircase is amazing though. Loved the decor throughout as I am a huge fan of all the Pixar movies, so seeing some history there was great. I also felt the design for the furniture and layout was fantastic. It felt very homey but upscale. The views everywhere were great. The table was easily accessed by my toddler in her high chair and offered plenty of room to space items I didn't want her to grab away from us. The food runner/bussers and host staff were amazing. My waiter really lacked any personality whatsoever and was really bare minimum helpful. He seemed a little phased by the toddler situation like he had never or rarely seen one dine before or know what to expect. I found that odd for Disney.I ordered a burger and my daughter the Mac n cheese kids plate. The Mac came with gold fish on top, which was a funny touch and she loved that. They had whole strawberries for fresh fruit and then we did French fries. The fries have great seasoning but don't love how thin they are. The burger was THE BEST flavor in a burger I've had in probably years. Only disappointment there was I ordered medium and it was charred to a overdone state. The meal was really peaceful and I did not feel rushed, which was nice. I loved the drink options. Since it was a solo parenting day I opted for a nonalcoholic beverage mint to be, it was not very minty. Kind of meh. It is really small food offering options here which I thought was interesting, probably smallest menu I've come across dining at Disney. Probably one of the best and biggest drink menus though.Overall, I would eat here again. I considered it to be overall toddler/young kid friendly. It would be interesting to try dining on the boardwalk areas next time vs indoors. Give it a try!

The lamplight is inside of California Disney Adventure so you will need an entrance ticket to dine here.F: I've had brunch and dinner here a few times. The burger and nacho's have always been solid. Personally I like the burger's from hungry bear and galactic grill more. The secret drink menu is pretty great, we like to get a zombie in a to-go cup if we're feeling adventurous.S: Usually have no issues, but during peak eating time we've been left hanging for a bit or there will be a mistake on our receipt. Our takeaway is to have your magic key ready for your discount because they usually don't ask and always double check your receipts.A: The biggest draw is the aesthetic of being able to spectate world of color if you happen to dine here in the evening. It's not the greatest view because it's from the side, but at least you get to sit and enjoy yourself. Any other time, being able to dine next to the water and see the wheel is really cool.Tips: Reserve through the app because if you walk up you'll be waiting for sure.If you come in wanting a seat for world of color, you should let them know. They have accommodated us with better seating before :).You'll be paying Disney Theme Park Prices so plan accordingly. The Lamplight is one of our favorite places to dine when inside of DCA so they receive an 87/100.
