Ambiance: The music videos of ROCK are my favorite and so unique as I've never seen this before at a winery. I prefer it over the quiet music in a tasting room, plus this music matches the energy that the owner, JJ, brings when you walk in this place. Wine: Cuvée, Syrah (both Reserve and Non Reserve), and Due Viti Sangiovese/Cab, are myFavorites. JJ personally picks his own grapes from the Sonoma valley and nearby and drives them back down to OC and does the wine process in OC. Very good wine! You can go at your own pace with his wine machine set ups, and you get a wide variety to choose from.

JJ is great and he is definitely an enthusiast. He drives the truck and brings the grapes from Napa and Sonoma. Thats called dedication. He will show you a video of his process when you sit down for wine tasting. He also has 80s rock music/music video playing on his big screen. Inside the place was clean and love the little wine pouring machines he has. He goes from whites to reds left to right. JJ said he is one of the not many wineries that crushes their own grapes and he has a machine inside the store. He also drank with us as the day we went was quiet Tuesday. He said he changed his souvenir glasses that comes with Groupon deal to bigger size as the smaller one was braking easily so he upgraded. He also has crackers and cheese you can purchase with your wine tasting. Also has pretty descriptive wine lists on the table. We ended up purchasing a bottle to bring home.Lot of their reds they have tasted little dry for me so I ended up bringing Moscato home.

Spontaneously stopping by this winery was an absolute delight! It turned out to be one of the best decisions ever. The experience of tasting a variety of wines, each with its own distinct character, was nothing short of exceptional. The staff's knowledge of winemaking, paired with their passion, made each sip a journey into the art and craft behind every bottle. From the subtle notes of fruit to the rich complexity of the reds, every wine felt like a discovery. And the customer service? Impeccable--warm, welcoming, and attentive. It's an experience I would highly recommend to any wine lover or curious passerby!

One of the best intimate experiences we've had. JJ was so kind and thorough with his information regarding his wine. You can tell his passion and love through the taste of his wine. My partner and I will return soon.

Cool experience with the automated tasting machines. Service wasn't the most welcoming or helpful. Tastings are $36 but more like ~$40/person if you're paying with card as they charge a credit card fee.

Small quaint winery with self serving wine. It was my first time with girlfriends near the theatre and have driven by so many times. I opted for white wine which I preferred and purchased a cheese/cracker plate. It was a nice stop while heading to LB.

i enjoyed "The premium wine and barrel tasting experience." The usual "a la carte" self tasting option seemed fine and lovely but really wanted to enjoy the bubbly and the barrel options as well as a curated experience. Much to my surprise the wine owner was present. He's also the wine maker. Boy, we were in for a solid treat. We toured the space, learned how and why things were done the way they were and enjoyed a charcuterie to boot. I think the best part was that the wine was good, like actually excellent. As I learned the process and listened to the story I really fell in love with what makes this wine taste so good. I would come back to sip more and enjoy their chef wine paired meals. So so good.

Booked the premium winemaker experience and was able to receive a one on one with JJ the owner. JJ was amazing, super knowledgeable, extremely helpful and really friendly. Never a dull moment with JJ. Was able to learn a lot about wine considering I am very new to wine. After this experience I definitely gained a greater appreciation for wine and it is all thanks to JJ. Definitely will be coming back for future events and definitely a must try experience 10/10. 5 stars experience. Locals need to absolutely check this place out. And again a very big thank you to JJ for all his help understanding wine on a deeper level.

I recently visited Laguna Canyon Winery with my partner to celebrate my birthday but unfortunately, our visit was overshadowed by an uncomfortable situation that left a sour taste in my mouth. From the moment we stepped onto the property, I felt an off-putting vibe. We were met with dismissiveness and an unwelcoming atmosphere. The employee there did not greet us when we walked in but instead said "I'm guessing you're my 2 o'clock reservation." The reservation was under my boyfriends name and the employee needed help pronouncing it which is fine but then said "your parents spelled that weird, why would they do that." He instructed us to sit wherever we'd like and we chose to sit along the wall. He briefly demonstrated how the wine tasting worked and how to dispense them. During our visit, there were 2 people sitting at the bar, a group of girls at a table, and another couple with their child. The employee focused most of his conversation with the 2 people at the bar but occasionally asked how the 2 other tables were doing. His customer service was phenomenal for the rest of the guests but us. He even refilled all the glasses for the table of ladies. But unfortunately, he did not check in on us once. We hurried to get through our wine tasting because I did not want the underlying tones of racial profiling to spoil my birthday celebration. Of course, we were not given a farewell. This type of behavior is unacceptable in any hospitality setting, especially one that prides itself on creating a friendly environment for all wine lovers.I believe every winery should serve as a place of inclusivity and warmth, where everyone feels valued and respected. Unfortunately, my experience at Laguna Canyon Winery was the opposite. I left feeling hurt and disillusioned and certainly won't be returning or recommending this place to friends and family.Wineries thrive on creating memorable experiences, but they also need to ensure that all guests are treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their background. I sincerely hope that the management reflects on this situation and takes the necessary steps to address and improve their hospitality practices.

The owner is very friendly and super knowledgeable. We paid to taste a number of wines and found most of them to be to our liking. We decided to purchase some wine and were taken aback by one of the forced tip screens at checkout. This is a wine bottle purchase and there is no reason to prompt and hover while a decision is made for a tip. Do we now start to tip on retail purchases?Further, there was a 4% credit card fee for using a credit card. So, now we are charged to use a credit card? Who carries enough cash to purchase expensive bottles of wine? We no longer felt like we were "family" sharing the wine tasting experience. We now felt manipulated and fleeced.I will enjoy our wines but not be returning for future experiences.
