La Villa Bakery

I've visited a few times. I initially came to try champurrado. A financial advisor once brought up the fact that he missed his morning champurrado. From his description of the drink, I had to try it. La Villa Bakery was one of the locations listed in Yelp that sold it. It wasn't real close but I had to try it. It was great! It was a sweet drink and I could tell this hot drink was really rich compared to the unsweetened black coffee I usually drink. It wasn't coffee but it was good. The shop and its employees also had a homey charm. There was a good selection of pan dolce. My favorite, the carrot cake, was very rich. Seating is not easy as it is mainly a bakery. There are a few tables that looked like they were put in as an afterthought. I've brought friends here including a senior who immigrated from Mexico as a young child. He didn't know this place existed. He said it reminded him of a bakery in east side Wilmington, where he grew up. He gave his approval and said he would join me on future visits.

Great to know that when I'm in Bellflower there's a good pan dulce bakery plus other eats to satisy a craving. The breads are definitely made there because they don't skimp on ingredients. You can't say there's not enough sugar sprinkled on the pon! It's a small clean place tucked away in the corner of an old strip mall. They bake all day so lots to chose from.

It smells delicious in here . It was 7 pm and they had warm pan still , they must bake all day . Someone picked up burritos but we were only here for the baked breads . Everything was really good . The stand out was the elote , it was so moist and flavorful

Great service, fresh delicious bread, & made to order food. Today they said they didn't have pupusas however. $7 or $10 fresh juices. They have Cafe de Olla, canela, & regular coffee as well. Cash is king here but they accept card as well.

The best conchitassss ever!!! I will have to try the rest of their pan dulce, as I'm sure its all yummy, it's just that their conchitassss are all I need :) love it!!!!!

I'm new to the neighborhood And I thought I'd check this place out judging from the reviews. The service wasn't great. The cashier wasn't very welcoming and her attitude convinced me that I had made a wrong choice coming here. The bread and variety is descent. But I won't be coming here again.

I had a desire for bolillo and pan dulce, so I asked my husband to pick some up from La Villa Bakery. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious and freshly baked the bread was. I will definitely continue to purchase from this bakery.

This is literally my favorite place. I recently moved to bellflower about 5 months ago and came across this panaderia and must I say no matter what time I go the bread is always so fresh. The concha's are delicious, The bolio is even better. I also never leave without my cafe de olla and the ladies are always so nice

Unfortunately, our experience with this Villa bakery was not pleasant. The bread was somewhat dry, las cob had nothing special, typical concha. The chocolate ding dong was pretty good.
