La Victoria Meat Market

I have been coming here for years as it is very convenient and food is always fresh. Pan Dulce is baked daily, you can smell it as soon as you walk in! I was here this past Sunday and to my surprise they now have AGUACHILES & CEVICHE! I bought both and was not disappointed! They were both so tasty and fresh, perfect for a quick snack! Love this place even more!!

Seriously, the best tamales I've ever had. Rice, beans, chips/salsa and guac are awesome as well. Family owed business and owners are amazing, caring people. Check this place out, you won't be disappointed!

Every time I come here to get snacks or get meats the staff is super helpful and always greeting with a smile. If you're looking for the best meat market, don't look anywhere else this is the spot! Love to support small businesses! The ambience is very welcoming and they care about their customers.

I went a few times during the weekend to buy pan dulce which was decent, and this morning (Tuesday) I went before 8am and was shocked at how crowded it was. I initially was going for their tamales which I've tried before and they were dry and "just ok," enough to satisfy my craving but after seeing everyone in line for the hot food I stood in line as well. They sell tortas with frijoles (beans) with your choice of meat (carne asada, chorizo, chicharrón rojo and verde) i ordered the chicharrón rojo and OMG!! Delicious! I had the guy add salsa and jalapeños which was a mistake because the chicharrón rojo already has a nice kick to it so after my first bite I took out the jalapeños. The few times I went I didn't notice the hot food so not sure if it only sells during certain times. It gets packed in the mornings with people heading to work and the line can get long, I waited about 10 minutes not bad. With my torta and can soda it was $5.77! *Update* tortas sell in the morning until 8amThe reason for my 4 stars instead of 5 is because I saw the produce section and it was a bit gross, the carrots and lettuce looked old. I will be going back only because the convenient location and for their tortas!

Great place for carne Asada .... Demeanor of employees lacking big time, rude at certain times - Meat market employees Carniceria are good always busy.

HANDS DOWN BEST chicharron I've ever had. They make fresh batches of it with meat and without several times a day. I like it with meat & it sells for $7/lb or so.The store itself is a small bodega style store. On the wknds they serve hot Mexican sandwiches (bollios) with 4-5 different options, these are money too. The pan dulce is legit too. This place packs a punch for its size.

First of all, it's a shame that the cashiers are so rude and racist, the worst thing is NONE OF THEM SPEAK ENGLISH. They need bilingual people PLEASEIt's also very disgusting that they are touching their face or hair and giving me food like that without washing their hands, most of the time they are just talking to each other and they don't serve youI have been a customer for over 10 years, but customer service is getting worse and worse.

Super convenient, great service, and best of all their tamales, tortas, y pan dulce. I can't resist the fresh pan dulce every time I go stock up on tamales.

I purchased two tamales today. I had a pork tamale that I think was spoiled. The masa was acidic and tasted bad. I also purchased a tamale de rayas that must have been very old. I took a picture because I could not believe what I was given. This once was the tamale spot but no more. Do not waste your lunch hour going to La Victoria.
