WOW! My new favorite Mexican place. I honestly don't even eat Mexican much but this place is really good.They have this special called quesabirria and you can get 3 for $10.99 or 5 for $16.99.I ordered the 5 because I was starving. They give you a sample of the meat (beef) if you ask them. Apparently they cook it for 3-4 hours in a stew. It was SO GOOD! I never tried quesabirria before in my LIFE so this was a great experience.I didn't know you can dip tacos in a broth. It's like a French dip but for tacos .I've also tried their blackened fish burrito - SO GOOD. Definitely try that!!I've also tried their breakfast burrito ($9.50) which is a great price compared to everything else nowadays. It's rare to find anything under 10 bucks for food anymore.Also get the green sauce with the breakfast burrito- I can't remember the name. It pairs up SO WELL with it. They told me it's a secret family recipe.Overall, highly recommend you try this place out - I've been here like 4 times now lmao. Definitely coming back and trying the rest out of the menu out. They also have taco Tuesday for 2 bucks.

Saw that this place is new and wanted to try out for lunch this week! I ordered online and it said it was ready within like 5 minutes, which then I had to drive up to get it. I walked in and no line for pick up, but the woman behind the counter was facing the kitchen and after a few minutes of not noticing I finally said something since my lunch was sitting right in front of me. I ordered the carne asada burrito and it came with some chips. The burrito was edible and the chips were stale. It was overly salted and too much of rice and beans in the burrito. If you're craving a good burrito, head over to Lupe's and pass this unfortunately.

I was so excited to see another option for Mexican food near by so I decided to try their taco Tuesday out. For $2 each, you get the choice of chicken, asada, carnitas and papas. I ordered 4 asada tacos and a side of rice and beans. About $20 with top so that's not bad price wise. There was a small line, but not bad. I ordered my food and waited....and waited....and waited. Mind you, there was nothing fancy about my order, literally street tacos with cilantro and rice/beans that's already made. It took 40 minutes to get my order! It might have taken longer had I not asked the lady at the front when my order would be ready. Most people who were waiting were not happy as well as multiple people had to go ask about their order because their lunch hour was almost up. Are they short staffed? They only had 2 people in the kitchen working, so maybe, but this is still TOO long of a wait for a simple order.The tacos were ok. Carne asada was very dry and the tortillas were soggy/falling apart - pretty bummed because pictures looked great. The rice and beans were very bland, which was disappointing as well. Salsa was decent. It is quite loud in the restaurant with everyone talking and the overly loud music playing, but clean and kept up well. Hoping yesterday was just an off day because their food is reasonably priced. Will try again, but not any time soon.

Great place in the food court. Yummy food with great salsa bar in the food court. Especially liked the mild green salsa. The Mercado salad with chicken added was fresh. The chicken was tasty & with a large portion of the meat on the top. Our take out order for 5 was made perfectly & large portions. We will be back.

Hands down the best street tacos in the area. The birria tacos are my favorite. The meat is seasoned to perfection and comes out nice and steaming hot. Al pastor and carnitas are my other recommendations. The salsa bar is always well stocked and the staff keeps the dining area clean. I just wish they would fix the Diet Coke dispenser from the fountain machine. It has been out of order during my last two visits.

A second location now here in Foothill Ranch. I really enjoyed the food in the original location in Mission Viejo and it's great to see that I have to drive even less now to have some delicious tacos. My personal favorites are the Quesabirria and Chile Verde tacos. I always get those two every time I go there but their other tacos are delicious as well. As far as sides I always get their Rice and Beans since it just goes well with the food here. Lastly their salsa bar is amazing since they have some delicious selections from mild to spicy. Service is very good here as everyone serves with a smile. Seating is available inside and outside the store so there ample room for it.

This was a pretty nice spot to eat at after volleyball and pickleball. I tried their birria burrito and while I was expecting it to have the flavors of birria with consommé, it still tasted great! A friend ordered chips and guacamole and I have to say, the guacamole was really good. They even said they make it every morning! Overall, eating outside in the shade with live music playing was the vibe. I wish I took photos but I was so hungry haha I will come back here and try the birria tacos for sure!

Best Mexican food in OC! Highly recommend the crispy potato tacos and flavorful mushroom tacos. Lots of other options for you carnivores out there also. Great, fast service. Can't wait to come back !

La Tia is a great new restaurant, offering variety of tacos and burritos plus many more. Their tacos were delicious and affordable. Staff were friendly and food came out in less than ten minutes during lunch hour. Ambiance is cozy and casual with both inside and outside seatings (covered). Highly recommended, especially for Taco Tuesday!
