The food was excellent I went one day for lunch I got pizza it was very good Would recommend to anyone

Like a courtesan perched in front of a glass display adorning the red light district of Amsterdam, a chunk of glistening Porchetta sat beckoning oozing with smut and sex. Generous portions carved before my eyes and placed on an oven toasted ciabatta, this sandwich had zero balance. Forget about the acid and all that. This had salt, fat, and meat. Unapologetic it instead punches you in the face with savory, meaty, fatty goodness. The bit of rocket there tried desperately to stop the ooze of juices and fat, but to no avail. Instead, a bite of rich meat and bark, apologies given in advance to the roof of your mouth. A larger than expected sandwich given the location in a sterile boring food court, this is a sandwich I won't quickly forget.

I am not in Mess Hall too often, though it is close to the office. I can't say where they replaced the previous pizza place here, but it is still pizza, just different.I ordered 2 slices for lunch and it was more than ample for what I wanted to eat. They were both tasty (gorgonzola and truffle) I think with the individual slices, they dress up a par baked cheese pie (not 100% sure, but I think this is what they do) and then finish it in the oven. It is still good, and 3easier (and fresher) than having a specialty pie baked and waiting for a few hours for the last slice to be sold. A good option if you and hungry.

tl,dr: nice new Italian-themed pizza & sandwich shop opened up at Mess Hall. Definitely worth a try.Likes:+ The Porchetta Schiacciata was a yummy healthy sandwich. I like their use of grilled pork with crispy skin mixed with a flavorful sauce and moderately soft bread.+ The discounted waffle fries add a salty touch to the overall meal.+ I appreciate that they now offer 90min parking validation for visitors at Mess Hall. Used to be free, then they started charging.Non-likes:- the meat in the Porchetta was kinda hard to tear for me. Have to deliberately bite and chew with intention. Still good though.$14 Porchetta Schiacciata +$5 Waffle fries +$3 + 7.75% tax= $23.71

Overall, a solid place if you're hungry, but nothing special.The truffle Parmesan waffle fries have a great flavor with lots of truffle, but are a bit too salty for me and are missing some sort of sauce to balance out the flavor.The porchetta sandwich was great! It had the same strong truffle flavor without the overwhelming saltiness, which made it a solid choice. The porchetta was a little dry, so I actually liked the leftovers I had the next day more bc the porchetta had time to soak in the sauce of the sandwich a bit.Overall, a solid choice, especially considering it's in a mess hall and is pretty convenient. The one guy working was really nice and quick in making the food, so I was in and out. The mess hall itself was really loud and busy and filled with lots of kids, but that kind of just made it feel alive, so overall, I liked the ambiance.TLDR, solid spot and I would definitely come back to try their pizza

All the food is delicious here from the pizza to the sandwiches. I live close by so sometimes I pop in for a cocktail. Not bad either.

I've had good pizza from you guys in the past but 2 times now the dough has been completely raw when we've ordered it. Giving 2 stars cause I liked you guys in the past but at this point I'm not super comfy ordering from you guys if the dough isn't regularly being cooked all the way through.

Amazing, Delightful, freshness, quality are the words that come to mind when I think of La Sera Pizzeria. The attention to detail and quality of their food is just heart warming. 10 out of 10 for sure!

okay so I was expecting this to be like flatbread pizza (which I don't like because there's NO SAUCE) but we got this pizza and there was an ABUNDANCE of both cheese and sauce and the crust was so airy I love love loooove it
