I love having a place that sells delicious Chorizo so close to home. The shop appears to be tidy and the guys working the counter are always very helpful. I can only afford to buy chorizo and chicken here but that's good enough for me! My only gripe is that they close kinda early.

Maybe it's because I ordered through Uber Eats, but I suggest you go in person just so you reject it if it comes out this way.But as a meat shop first and a sandwich shop second, they have no business charging what they charge, having pictures like they have and give me this type of sandwich. It's literally two pieces of meat. From a quick look from their photos, this sandwich is the smallest I've seen.I'll give a +1 star for flavor. Even 2 stars is generous.** here's a counter to the owner update and I'll drop my review from 2 star to 1 starWhile it's fair what he said and make sense from a business. It's still misleading if that "gotcha" was not clearly stated in Uber Eats. It still states 3oz and as a normal sandwich.I hope this reviews stays up, so others can see how deceitful they can be and by their logic, a discount means they can reduce portion as they see fit. "50% off, but we'll remove 50% portion." It's something to laugh about.

Your boy had the best pastrami sandwich of his life. This sandwich was so satisfying , with the crispiness of the rye bread, to the understated sauce, and most, especially the guest of honor, the Wagyu pastrami: phenomenal. Make sure you get the smoked wagyu pastrami. Smoked Wagyu pastrami sandwich, 10/ 10 With taxes and everything , with one drink and a bag of chips ( get voodoo heat - tangy salt & vinger with a kick) everything came out to $26.

This place is a wagyu lover's dream. They sell Wagyu by the pound! The atmosphere is fun, where the employees sing and dance, and you can tell they love their job. The Wagyu pastrami sandwich was delicious, the meat was so tender and unlike other pastrami sandwiches, it wasn't overwhelmingly salty. It was super delicious. The only reason why I'm giving it a 4 star is because of the price point. It's pretty pricey, $23 for a sandwich, although it included chips and a drink. Otherwise it was great!

Stopped by this butcher/deli for lunch. Wagyu pastrami seems to be their go speciality for fancy sandwiches. About $23 a sandwich for any of the wagyu ones. The trio with Dutch crunch bread had roast beef, ham, and pastrami was quite good. A little pricey, but that's what happens with the wagyu mark up. Was good, but not sure I'd be a frequent customer. Maybe I'm not skilled enough to tell the difference.

Delicious sandwich shop/butcher in an unassuming spot. High quality meats and cuts offered. Some marinated and ready for the grill and sides of mac salad, potato salad, and more ready for quick purchase. I love that they make the sandwich fresh on the spot when you order. They heap the toppings and toast it so you enjoy every bite.Knocked off a star for the price and not being able to customize orders. The price is high for a sandwich as others have mentioned. I get that some of the sandwiches use wagyu beef which is premium but even a turkey sandwich costs a lot here. Also, totally understand there are issues with allowing people to customize their orders all the time but if they're willing to pay extra, I don't see the issue. I wanted to sub the bread on one sandwich to the dutch crunch and was told they couldn't allow it even if I paid extra :(

Sandwich shop, butcher shop/carniceria, purveyor of high end goods - this place is located in a strip mall off a busy street in Brea. An 'if you blink, you might miss it' type of place. Inside, it feels like a mom/ pop, family owned/operated type spot. It's clean and the folks here are friendly and helpful. The place is not large, but it has lots of quality, high end meats and a great selection relative to the size. If you want wagyu tomahawks, sausages, and even high quality burgers, etc,, they have all that here. I can't remember when or why exactly it was on my list/radar, but I think it had to be because of the sandwiches. There was a week where I had to go back and forth from City of Industry and Anaheim, so I thought it was a perfect chance to check this place out. I ordered the smoked wagyu pastrami, which is served on a toasted marbled rye bread with swiss cheese, mayo, and some pepperoncini. Not cheap, but didn't feel super expensive when thinking about what you got. It also comes with chips and a drink. This was an excellent sandwich. Great flavors and textures. Nice crunch with each bite. I would just note, however, that the meat was sliced thin side and it was layered vs. the thicker cut Jewish style deli pastrami. There are also other items for sale like salsas and tortillas. Just a really cool spot with great food and great people. I'm a big fan.

Parked in this plaza to drop off oil after my boyfriend did an oil change on my truck, and happened to strike upon this tiny pot of gold called "La Carniceria Wagyu"! It was lunch time and we decided to scope out the place and see what it was about. Upon entering, we were greeted by fresh cuts of meat and a widely enticing array of wagyu sandwich options. The ambiance is setup very clearly from start to finish. I ordered the Roast and my boyfriend got the Prime. We enjoyed our freshly made sandwiches at the park down the street.Haven't tried the chips and salsa yet, but I will definitely be coming back here for the halal options, wagyu beef cuts, homemade salsa selection and macaroni salad or potato salad freshly made. They also sell a haven of rubs for you to season your meat at this butcher shop.Overall great experience and it was nice to meet Victor, a very helpful and friendly butcher!

This place absolutely blew me away with most of the quality of the food and how full i felt afterwards. I have never been here before, but I've always wanted to try it as I pass by. It was well worth the venture. These are the kind of small businesses that we need to be supporting. Everything is clean. The employee is friendly and helpful and they have a wide variety of Wagyu meat and regular meat Asian Mexican Australian, they have great selection and I tried personally the turkey sandwich and the turkey was some of the best turkey I ever had. I can't wait to go back when it's time to barbecue.

La Carniceria Wagyu in Brea, Los Angeles. Owned and operated by Chef David and his business partner Donald, it stands out with its prime meats, homemade sausages, and the crown jewel - Japanese imported A5 Wagyu. Their commitment to quality is also evident in their craft sandwiches, which have quickly become the talk of the town. It's simple decor and clean environment make it an inviting experience. We had three top sellers the 'Wagyu Hot House' combines spicy soppressata, mortadella, wagyu pastrami, and a unique mix of pickled onions, pepper relish, and hot honey on marble rye, creating a harmonious blend of flavors with a slight spice. The 'Wagyu Trio', with its wagyu pastrami, prime roast beef, Black Forest ham, and provolone on Dutch crunch bread with a special rice glaze, offers a textural masterpiece. Not to be missed, the 'Prime Steak Sandwich' with balsamic steak, Swiss, provolone, and caramelized onions, all on the same signature bread, rounds out a truly exceptional culinary experience. The staff is friendly and happy to make recommendations, they offer outdoor seating with umbrellas, and the incredible sandwiches make it a standout destination in the Brea section of Los Angeles. Their expansion to a second location in Costa Mesa, featuring a full kitchen, is a testament to their success and popularity. Whether you're a meat enthusiast or a sandwich lover, La Carniceria Wagyu is a destination that promises an unforgettable gastronomic journey.
