L&L Hawaiian Barbecue

I love this place. I've been coming here a few times a month for years, I always get the seafood half and half with shrimp and bbq chicken. Get the chicken well done! My wife gets the bowls, they are great, with lots of veggies.This is general L&L feedback for all locations, not just this one: not everything is of the highest quality so I would sample things and find what you like and is up to your standards. I don't stray from my order for this reason - I've had some questionable experiences when I switch it up. But the 1/2 and 1/2 always delivers!

I had an absolutely terrible experience at L&L Hawaiian Barbecue when attempting to pick up my own online order. I placed my order through DoorDash for personal pickup, not as a driver, yet the rude and incompetent employee at the counter--a woman with clownish makeup--treated me like a delivery driver, demanding a confirmation code that I was never provided.I clearly stated that I was not a driver and was simply picking up my dinner, yet she interrogated me like I was trying to steal food. To make matters worse, the restaurant had messaged me over 20 minutes earlier that my order was ready, but when I arrived, they claimed it wasn't and still demanded this so-called confirmation code. Unacceptable.If you're going to require confirmation codes, train your staff to politely communicate that ahead of time, not waste customers' time with unnecessary hostility. This was horrible service, and I won't be coming back. Get rid of employees who don't know how to treat paying customers with basic respect.

This is the closest L&L to me and one I visit the most when I'm craving local Hawaiian food. It's a fairly big spot, especially compared to the ones in Hawai'i so there's always a lot of seating. The cashiers are always friendly and helpful and the food comes out quick and hot.

I would recommend for the steam rice and the Musubi, katsu chicken was delicious however the long bond beef ribs were dry it really needs a sauce otherwise everything was great.

OK local grind. It gets the job done ya! It getting harder to get lau lau diz daz . Need more variety on the menu it's getting old

Always love coming here to get our Chicken Katsu fix or craving. Now there is a new ordering and payment method.

Service was terrible! Food was awful! Fish and Shrimps were hard and had a funny smell. Looks like it was refried several times. Do not dare enter the bathroom. It was filthy!!! Tables weren't cleaned and had food scraps from previous diners, floor had used napkins and food scraps

I ordered Spam musubi and they left it out of my takeout order. Also the heard the cooks talk about my LauLau order and one guy said it looks like shit. Don't come here go across the street to Aloha Hawaiian Bbq.

Service is really bad. Called at 8pm twice & no one answered. came in at 8:10 but they already closed the kitchen. When asked they said they closes at 8:30pm. They need better employees; Current ones are lazy.

A DoorDash-take out review. I was shocked by huge the portion is! I ordered the half and half: chicken katsu and short rib! Very big portions so it's good. But I have a taste problem. The katsu is a little bland, so you definitely have sauce with it. The short rib is tasty but a little dry. The veggies have no salt or whatsoever which is ok, but I was expecting it's a little sautéed. The Mac salad is good, creamy. It's decent, enough to feed two people, but it's not exceptionally tasty.
