Krua Mae Thai had me looking a little lost for a second--not because of the food, but because I didn't realize it was a ghost kitchen. I pulled up expecting a regular restaurant, only to stand around like I was waiting for a table that didn't exist. Thankfully, a nice gentleman helped me out before I embarrassed myself any further.Once I got my food, though? Totally worth it. I ordered the shrimp pad Thai, and it was packed with flavor. The noodles were saucy but not soggy, the shrimp were tender, and every bite had that perfect balance of sweet, savory, and just the right amount of tang--the kind of meal that makes you question why you even bother trying to make pad Thai at home. Then there were the bomb chicken wings. These things were next-level. Crispy, juicy, and absolutely drenched in a tangy sauce so good I caught myself debating whether licking the container was socially acceptable. If you're craving some seriously good Thai food, Krua Mae Thai is definitely worth it. Just make sure you order ahead, unless you also want to stand in the establishment looking confused for a minute.(totally my fault)They'll definitely be seeing me again--next time, I'll actually know how to pick up my food without looking like I'm a lost child

It's a hidden ghost kitchen, kind of in a run down part of town. I tried to order online but it wasn't working... so I assumed I could order at the kiosk when I got there but it wasn't working either...So I called the guy and ordered... he was nice about it, really fast considering. I waited about 20 min and it was worth it. The chicken wings! Omg they were so good....I'm coming back for those...He got my order wrong, I ordered pad see ewe with crispy pork but I ended up getting veggie pad see ewe but it was actually kinda good so I wasn't too mad. I think I might be back for some sticky icky wings :)

This place is a hidden gem. It's a ghost kitchen in Santa Ana for takeout only. This is my go to Thai restaurant when I am craving thai food for takeout. Thai food is one of my favorites and I'm honestly very picky about it, but this place hits the spot. My go to orders are either the spicy fried rice or the Panama curry chicken. For $14 they pack the box with the rice, it is packed with flavor and has a good kick to it. The Penang curry is KILLER. The curry itself is very creamy and has a perfect amount of spice. It also has a nice lemongrass taste to it, which is a super nice touch. A lot of restaurants around the area make their curries watery, but this one is nice and creamy - easily one of the best curries I've had in OC. Their drunken noodles are also delicious. This place has yet to disappoint, highly recommend if you're looking for great Thai food.

Was pleasantly surprised by the reviews for this place so far and saw that it was new. I'm very cautious about thai places because not every place lives up to my taste, but this place was definitely it! Pad Thai (4.5/5): Gave us a hearty amount of peanuts and lime! Sauce was thick but also the perfect amount of wetness, we loved the sweet, tangy, savory flavors of it. Chicken was also cooked very well and was tender upon bite.Panang Curry (4.5/5): I don't often get curry but I really liked it! It was on the sweeter side but had a nice coconutty flavor and was delicious with the soft jasmine rice.

Amazing food!! I find myself very picky with pad thai, since some places make it overly sweet and for that I usually prefer pad see ew. However, I was on Yelp and found this hidden gem and all the reviews were raving about the pad Thai, and I just had to try it. Got the food door dashed and it was still piping hot once it arrived. My boyfriend and I were amazed at how good it was. We ended up ordering a mild tofu pad Thai, and it was so flavorful. Different from the usual pad Thai in the area but a very good different. Mild definitely had a kick for both of us so happy that we didn't pick medium spice lol. Im so excited, this might be my new spot to get take out Thai food from now on. My bf and I went to Thailand last year so we've had unbelievably delicious Thai food, and this for sure is up there with them. I can't wait to try more items from here. Definitely worth a try!!

If you're looking for your new favorite take out spot for Thai Food in Santa Ana, then Krua Mar Thai is what you need!Starting with the appetizers:The Bomb Chicken Wings has the texture of Korean fried chicken with bold Thai flavors, just a little spicy but very flavorful! The Larb Salad is refreshing and satisfyingly filling, perfect for the summer time!Main Dishes:The pad Thai is the best pad Thai I've had, it's not super wet and the noodles are perfectly chewy! The drunken noodles have the wok flavor and spice that you're craving from a noodle dish! The Panang Curry is creamy,a little spicy, and very delicious as it pairs perfectly with a side of rice! The Chinese broccoli with crispy pork is extremely addicting with the wok fire taste and crispy pork to soak up the sauce!Overall, the food is a 10/10 and you can definitely tell that the chef takes pride is his craft! This spot is a take out only but there are a few parks near by that you can go eat at!

Found this spot on ubereats and was craving a quick lunch. It comes out of a food kitchen so theres only takeout and delivery, but man was it delicious! When picking up the food i was greeted by a nice old lady who seemed to be the owner. I only sampled the pad thai but the flavor was perfect to my palate sweet and spicy. I will be back to try all of their other dishes!

I spied this restaurant on my Yelp app recently when I had a lunch hankering for Thai food. As I scanned through the nearby restaurants, this place immediately caught my eye. 5 star rating?!? Now that's impressive (A feat not easily accomplished for most businesses) as I perused the menu I saw there was a Bogo deal on pad thai, I figured that was a no brainer so I went with that.Since it was lent season, I opted for the shrimp and I was good to go.When my order arrived, it came neatly packaged with utensils, condiments and the restaurant thoughtfully included extra limes per my request and provided me with a tasty complimentary dessert. As soon as I lifted the lid on my order, I could tell I was in for a treat. The noodles were glistening with that fresh off the wok aroma and appearance that makes you drool as soon as you see it. They packed crushed peanuts and a lime wedge on the side and everything imo looked so mouthwatering good. Proof was in the taste and texture however, so I went in for my first bite.Holy smokes! Easily the best Pad Thai I've had in a long while! The perfectly cooked noodles were coursing with robust tangy flavor and the shrimp were fresh, plump and delicious.I simply had no complaints. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for high quality, good value and great service. They will not disappoint Happy Eats!

The pananga curry was delicious . Full of flavor with the perfect amount of spice. I thought it was an actual restaurant so I thought I was lost when I went into the building. I would definitely recommend this location and would order from here soon. Couldn't share a picture . I ate it too quick.
