Ordered a bogo deal for lunch at work and I was pleasantly surprised by the portions and quality of the food here. Everything arrived packaged nicely with utensils and condiments. The orange chicken was light, airy and crispy with just the right amount of sticky sweet sauce on a bed of rice and broccoli The teriyaki chicken was also delicious. Not too sweet and prepared perfectly. The portions were just right for lunch and I enjoyed every bite. I ordered again a few more times cuz I was a fan! Can't beat the price a deal either! Definitely a lot of bang of bang for the buck. Will definitely keep these guys on my list of go-to's for lunch!Happy Eats!

I've been here several times for lunch with Hubby or friends. We've always been seated right away, and the food is brought out quickly. The Lunch Specials are reasonably priced and the portions are good. After paying over $12 for breakfast at McDonald's this week, $13.99 for entree, soup, potstickers, and rice was more to my liking. An additional 50 cents for a can of soda was fine.Hubby's Kung Pao Chicken was tasty. I have had Mapo Tofu and Curry Chicken that I enjoyed. My friend ordered Wonton Soup, and it had plenty of goodies in a nice broth. The only thing I would change is the flimsy metal chairs. The sturdy wooden tables should have better seats. Good parking in the small shopping center. We had a pleasant server (possibly Hispanic?) last summer. I hope it was just her day off this week, because she was helpful and chatty.

Came here for lunch with friends. There were many items on the menu and I couldn't decide what to get. Decided on the ma po tofu, orange chicken and the beef. All were delicious. Portions were ample - each plate could easily be shared among 2. The white rice that accompanied the dishes were dry. But other than that we loved the experience. The staff were friendly. The food was served quick. Grabbed a table inside. Easy parking.

Catching up on some reviews! Came to this place because the wife was sick and wanted wonton soup. In my mind, I was thinking where in the world will I find decent wonton soup?! Definitely didn't want pick up sticks or something like that. I did my research and found this place. I'm so glad I did!! Located in Tustin, it wasn't far from my work. I placed an online pickup order for a large wonton soup and I got myself a filet mignon (medium rare) entree. I got it to go, so I can't say much about the service. When I got home and looked at what I got, oh man was the wonton soup great! First off, they didn't skimp on ingredients. Meaning, most places will give you a bunch of soup but a few wontons. Not here! They gave a decent amount of wontons, but not only that! It had shrimp, pork, and other goodies included in the wontons. The filet mignon was so tender and tasty. French style filet mignon has always been my thing and I was thoroughly enjoying this! They gave a decent amount for an individual portion which I appreciated, considering it was almost $18 for that one entree. However, it was really good and the onions that came with it paired so nicely with the steak. I would definitely want to check this place out again in the future. Probably to check out their lunch special!

I believe this place, specifically this location has the absolute best kung pao anywhere! I ask for extra peanuts which they usually do with no problem. This visit though it was like I had asked for very few peanuts. Bummer! But no matter because the dish is still so good! There's something about the texture they achieve on the meat and the perfect balance of salty and umami. It stands out. I also like their cucumber salad. I add extra chili oil and vinegar.

If you want your mouth to go drunk, you gotta order the new Szechuan Wontons. It was totally unexpected, but after the first bite, my whole mouth went tingly. That feeling lasted just a few minutes after I was done, and it was actually the Szechuan peppercorns that caused that reaction. It was pretty trippy! I can't wait to try all of their other items!

If you look at the menu, you may think that a lot of it makes it come across as a "American Chinese" or "Chinese Takeout". Yet, it's decidedly a peg above. The speed the food came out (ordered takeout) was right quick. The quality of cooking technique and ingredients is definitely noticable; especially in the Orange Chicken - not sugary sweet, and huuuge chunks of chicken. Food portions are great! A single order can definitely be 2 meals, or, 1 really hungry 20-something year old would be very satisfied :)Quite probably taking the lead as my local spot!

I decided to check out this place with my sister and parents because I got mail that they had a new location opening in Tustin. I went to eat there over the weekend and dined inside the restaurant. They have a lunch menu available. Interaction with staff was limited, but they seemed friendly overall. I don't know if it's family owned, but the older woman was very nice while the younger man who took our order seemed like he didn't even want to be there at times. We were the only ones dining in at the restaurant. Although one or two ppl did come by to pick up food. The restaurant isn't that big with the seating area off to the side of the front counter. We ordered mainly from the lunch menu and the food came very quickly. Probably less than 10 min for all 4 main dishes, including side dishes. The food was delicious, but heavy. BUT! I'm glad I waited to make this review because I got FOOD POISONING! The food at this restaurant is the only thing I ate the entire day because of how heavy it was, and I started feeling bad a couple of hours later. Then, the vomiting started in the early morning the following day. I don't know which food it was specifically because I sampled everything, but my main dish was the mapo tofu. I'm guessing because the food came out so fast, it had already been sitting there in the kitchen for quite a while and maybe went bad during that time. I will post pics of all the other food that was ordered. I feel bad to have to take away stars because the food did taste good, but I also feel like I need to be honest about my experience. I won't be coming back to this location.

We've ordered takeout from here a few times and have always been pleased with the food. Always ready when I get there and I like the little quaint restaurant inside which I will have to come back and stay for lunch or dinner. See you soon!

They made an order last night arnd 5pm (no line-no crowd like the other local Chinese eats) and brought home. I just wanted to chow mein with some white rice. Hubby came back being talked into chow mein with beef, chicken and shrimp in it, which tasted outside blubbery like coating on the meat, along with no flavor to the meats nor the chow mein it was in, at all.On the white rice, how do you mess up white rice? It was hard, dry, no starch (like re-washed?), i dunno, wasn't very palatable. My husband got three treat (meat like in the chow mien), compow and said it was just good. Yet my husband can't smell and doesn't taste real well, so everything taste fine to him, but it had flavor from the hot spices. But he also said that chow mein didn't taste right, had no flavor along with the white steamed rice being very dry rice-old rice. I don't know how this place got its ratings, but I'm not eating here again. It's also on the refrigerator. It's gonna be put in the trash What a horrible flavorless, blubbery coated meats-shrimp-noodles in the chow mien. Along with dry white rice. Sad~ used to love the place on Irvine and Newport Avenue before it became a fancy local Asian cuisine.
