If I rate the food alone it's a five star from me!! However as a restaurant in total I felt the need to mark a star down. The presentation of the food could use a little more work, the plates made me feel like I was at a cheap asian buffet with high quality delicious sushi. I got some scallop nigiris and the presentation of it made me feel a bit sick, call me dirty minded but the option if sauce just was not it (taste wise was good I love scallop nigiris, but why did it have to look like that it honestly ruined the meal for me in the end and made me feel little sick looking at what I was eating I could inly eat one piece after thinking I could finish them only to find out it was mostly the presentation that made me not want to eat anymore xd) Service was great, loved how we were walked throughly of their menu, the waitress helping us used a pencil and circled everything while she explained how their service worked which I personally have never experienced from any sushi AYCE restaurants, they normally speed run it and just leave you without answers. Also, would be nice if they mentioned that they had miso soup and that it just wasn't on the menu!! Had to hear another customer ask about it for us to order it.Ambience is nice, however when me and my friend went a family had a very very loud crying baby the entire portion of our meal, I know being a parent is stressful but the restaurant is fairly small to where with little groups you can pretty much hear everyone talking (there were only four groups of ppl including me and my friend and three groups were groups of two and then the family. I am not a mom, but if your baby is screaming at the pitch of ringing to the ear indoors at a small restaurant please walk them outside for a little. I am mostly ranting but they left an entire mess on the floor as well.... Did not really help the ambiance for our first experience there.... Every time I tried talking to my friend it was screaming ringing my ear at a very very high level.. I kind of wished the workers said something for the other customers trying to enjoy their meal out. They also have a bar for solo diners which I love because I often go eat out alone I definitely will come back, it is a bit pricey for not as much variety compared to other sushi places but I loved how small the rice portions were here!

Parking: plenty of parking spots. Thought it would be busy on the weekends dinner for AYCE, no wait. Service: quick and accommodating to seat you down. They then ask if you've been there before. They basically just want to confirm you know the rules. If a few pieces are left, they don't call you out on it. But if it looks too much, they will double check you're ready to tap out or pay for the excess. AYCE: (there is a non ayce option - different menu). Some items are only one/two pieces per person. 3 rounds to order as much as you want. Fish isn't super fresh. There's a smell on some of the seafood. Be very careful with the "no rice" items. It's just filled with imitation crab meat with heavy mayo instead of rice. The pics on the menu are super deceiving - small on purpose to make you think the order is small as well.

tl;dr came here bc of tiktok/ig reel, wouldn't return highlights: - M-Th $24.95 ayce BUT it doesn't include nigiri or appetizers so had to upgrade to $33.95- favorites were albacore, butter shrimp, yellowtailcons:- really long wait time between rounds - portions were really small - just ok ayce. worth it if you just want basic rolls and ok with the $24.95 limited menu

So ive been seening this place pop up on my feeds advertising the $25 AYCE happy hr lunch special so i finally decided to check it out. I came in around 1pm and the place had plenty of seating. Once i sat down the waitress explained the difference between the regular lunch and the happy hr lunch, with a price difference of $8. I ended up picking the $25 lunch which has a reduced menu and is basically limited to cut rolls. Each roll comes with about 8 to 5 pieces . I ending up pick 4 different rolls and was quite full at the end. The rolls are quite dense with rice as they use one of those automatic machines so the rice is packed pretty dense. Many of the insides of the various rolls are just different variations of a california rolls so its mainly imitation crab meat. Then the roll is topped with some type of fish which i thought was sliced quite thin. Afterwards its topped with sauce either a spicy mayo or thick soy based sauce. Honestly after my first two rolls, i started to feel that everything tasted very one note. Although i felt that the quality was fine, i think i just got bored of the menu really quick and in hindsight even though the full menu is $8 more, it provides a lot more variety. I think the menu could also use some variation like being able to order half rolls (4 pcs instead of 8), hand rolls, or even some of the cheaper appetizer items. Honestly the place would still make it margins on the deal but i think customers would find the meal much more enjoyable and satisfying. I probably wont come back for the $25 deal as i can just go to my local Zion or Hmart and find something of similar quality and size for almost the same price in total.

Love a good AYCE sushi spot. This place has so much variety. We tried the mango salad and it was absolutely amazing. The dressing they use is so flavorful. The rolls are really good. My favorite was the baked salmon roll. The fresh spicy tuna is also amazing. The rolls are a pretty decent size so just be careful with ordering too much. We had a hard time finishing everything. But it was all worth it.

Food is decent and portioned well to ensure you can try as much food on their AYCE menu. Service was great and responsive but then it was an early dinner at 5pm on a Tuesday. Ambiance not so great furniture a bit old, supplies are laid out close by the dinning area but then I lived in Japan small places like this one focus on quality of their food and service. I appreciated small places like this that have clean and tidy bathroom. It tells you a lot the health of the restaurant.

Came on a Friday night and it was quite busy but we were seats right away. This place is a very quaint and small restaurant in a very unassuming plaza (my friends who met me there missed the turn into the plaza!)Overall I would say this place is okay. Nothing good but nothing bad about it. For $40 before tip it's not terrible but I would rather pay an extra $10-20 for other AYCE places that I frequent. I did love the rice to fish ratio got the nigiri (very little rice to a large slice of fish) but the rice wasn't as seasoned as I like it. It didn't take slightly sweet or vinegary at all. Their rolls are stuffed with too much imitation crab. The one appetizer that we got that wasn't very good was the baked mussels; it was VERY fish so beware. Service was great though and the sever was very attentive and the food came out very quickly.

We have winner for the Fish/Rice Ratio AYCE Sushi Spot!!!I wont go into too many details, because most places are so similar.First. Service. We came here on a Wednesday (11/27), and the lady with the short hair, was great. So polite and quick. When I said we would have 5, but dwindled to 4, she had no issues. When a server makes me feel at ease, when I have my own anxiety on taking more space, or causing inconvenience for people who are just doing their job... that's Tops.Fish was on par for AYCE spots. Cuts were a little messy, but that doesn't detract from the flavor. Rice Ratio is the best in OC without having to get Sashimi. Carb watching? They got protein/no-rice rolls.I'm big on reminding people that spots like this have the best chicken wings. This place has great chicken wings. Hot. Crispy. Yet juicy inside. Please try.One thing that no AYCE spot has seemed to avoid is that wet-towel, bleach/cleaning solutions smell. It does fade as you stay in there, but its apparent when you walk in.Tip that I'll reiterate: Happy Hour is only for Rolls. If you want Nigiri, you will pay the Lunch/Dinner Price. If you're a roll person, then HH from12-4, Mon-Thu is perfect for you.WILL DEFINITELY BE COMING BACK!!!!!

We decided to check out this AYCE sushi spot and it was really good! The quality of the fish was really good, better than most AYCE sushi spots. The best thing is their fish-to-rice ratio with the generous amount of fish and little rice. I also love how they offer blue fish tuna and scallop during dinner time! Definitely a good AYCE spot choice!

It was our first time here, and we went for their Happy Hour AYCE menu. Overall, the sushi was nice for the price, but I think there could be improvement to their dishes. We ordered lots of rolls, and my personal favorite of all of them was their downey roll. The spicy salmon had a good spice to it while keeping it's fresh taste. A must try on their menu! Their other rolls were good too, but I think there were times that there was a little too much rice and batter to the rolls. One that I specifically noticed was their golden spicy tuna roll - with it having a little too much batter, the tuna had some extra moisture to it which I wasn't a fan with.Like I said before, it could have some improvements to their dishes but regardless it was a nice place for a cheaper AYCE menu!
