This place was one of many restaurants that I have been wanting to try and finally had a chance one Saturday afternoon. As soon as I enter the building, it was very hot with the heat from the kitchen and small space. Of course, the weather didn't help as well. There was neither fan nor air condition on, which was a little bit unbearable while eating. The cashier/server was nice and prompt on taking the order and bringing the food to the table. She disappeared to the back of the restaurant where there is a cubicle at the back of the place and showed up whenever the customers come in, which was interesting. We ordered Kookoo rice balls, chicken wrap and chicken udon noodle and Kookoo rice balls were definitely the star of this restaurant, which I would recommend anybody who visits. Chicken warp was crispy outside and moist in the inside and the flavor was great. Chicken udon noodle was our least favorite, unfortunately. The chicken was perfect but it didn't blend very well with rest of the ingredients for some reason.

This family owned business is Amazing by far one of the Best places to eat with such pride they show in their food. Once you try the Koo-koo balls, um let me tell you your hooked on first bite! The oozing sauce bit spicy but amazing. The fresh chicken. So this time I actually tried the noodles. They outdid themselves again! Noodles are tossed with the special sauce with choice of protein. So good I ate the whole thing Clearly if it's your 1st time order the koo koo balls and noodles. The family is nice here. And the owner will chat up with you which makes me happy to know that you feel a welcome in their home. Super cool!!! Koo-koo balls Koo-koo balls!!!

Small hole in the wall place with lots of flavor. We were at the ice rink down the street and walked over here for lunch. It is a small location on the edge of a strip mall. They have a few tables inside and out. Order at the counter. They have a good variety of foods. The wrap is grilled and delicious. We also got noodles, which had some kick. Everything we had good and we will definitely be back.

Title: Decent Chicken Teriyaki Joint with Room for ImprovementI would rate it really a 3.5 out of 5 I wanted some chicken teriyaki today, and overall, it was a satisfying experience. The chicken teriyaki itself was delicious, cooked to perfection with just the right balance of sweet and savory flavors. It was grilled with some burnt ends which I love. However, I was slightly disappointed with the shrimp; it was fried rather than grilled but that didn't take away from the score. I just prefer grilled shrimp. Additionally, the beef teriyaki was a bit tough due to overcooking it a bit too long. It was edible still. The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant, its lot fancy it's a basic as it comes restaurant. The service was attentive. While there's definitely room for improvement.Portions for the chicken are pretty good. Slightly less in the shrimp and beef bowl even though it cost $12.75 and the chicken bowl was $10. I would recommend Koo Koo Grill for those craving some tasty chicken teriyaki if you're in Anaheim or the Fullerton area.

Craving for something a little different and my son and I found this place in Fullerton. We tried out the chicken wrap and the kookoo balls. The wrap was stuffed and was very filling. It also had a pretty decent kick to it. The kookoo balls were crunchy in the outside and nice and chewy in the inside. A little messy to eat but I'm not complaining. Place needs a little clean up but food is good and affordable. Good little place to try. You just won't be able to bring a big group of people. Try it out

Whenever I'm craving a beef and chicken teriyaki bowl, this spot is my go-to. Their kookoo balls are fire too. Not sure if they changed the recipe, but regardless, it's still a good spot that satisfies that craving.
