Grew up eating beef noodle soup at home, and this is the best one I've had in the United States. Very tasty.Service is good, but like all Chinese restaurants, it's all about the food, baby.

Since Wheel of Life was forced out it's been a journey trying to find good Chinese food with vegetarian options. Kirin offers a variety of authentic dishes, food I'm used to and love. Crave for but seldom found. Everything seems to be made to order, all the stir fries are fired up on the wok when it's ordered and it's a generous portion. I'm sure msg can be found but not enough to raise alarms. There's a kitchen window that just exists for viewing, no one is putting on a show except the catwalk of them big noodle bowls floating to tables and chopsticks. The chive and egg pocket lacked more filling but had a great greasy crust as do the stir fried noodles but yummy nonetheless. They also do breakfast which I'm going to look forward to trying!

Had a great experience at Kirin Noodle House. Yes you can order through QR code/app, but they'll gladly come take your order too if you don't want to deal with that. We ordered some xiao long baos, beef noodle soup, pan fried pork baos, and dumplings and everything was flavorful and delicious. My kids loved everything and asked to go back, so can't complain about that!

Kirin Noodle House is one of the newer eateries in Irvine and definitely worth checking out! This spot is located in the Culver plaza where Mitsuwa Marketplace and Baekjeong are. There are a good amount of parking spots around. Inside, they have a nice setup with about 8-10 tables for seating. Wifey and I stopped by for dinner around 8pm and we were seated right away. For their menu, they have a great selection of different appetizers, hot dishes, noodles, dumplings, and other soups. We opted to get a spread consisting of the Wontons In Chilli Sauce, Pork Meat Pie, and the Braised Beef Noodle Soup. Everything that we had tasted very authentic, comforting, and filled with great flavors. Overall, this spot is serving up some unique Szechuan style Chinese comfort food. All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. We are glad we got the chance to come support and experience some unique flavors!

After a long trek from San Diego with a hangover, my husband and I decided to make a small pitstop before continuing on our way back to LA. We stumbled upon this place on our way to Mitsuwa for groceries. This place is pretty unassuming from the outside and the decor is very casual. We were the only table for a few minutes but people started to trickle in slowly for the lunch rush. The waitress gave us some menus but we ordered everything through the QR code provided on the table to expedite our experience. I personally like doing that because I feel like it's just easier and I hate waiting to flag someone down. Our eyes were certainly bigger than our stomachs. Looking back, me and my husband realized that majority of the items were probably meant to be shared family style. We ordered the cucumber salad, wonton soup, egg and tomato soup, and the braised pork belly noodle soup. In retrospect, could we have shared two items? Probably. Did we want to? No, not really. On the bright side, we definitely have some soup for later.Food was fantastic especially for the price. Altogether, we paid about $50 for four items which isn't bad considering the portion sizes. All of the items were flavorful and fresh. I think the only thing I'd do differently is probably opt for the braised pork rice bowl or try the braised beef noodle which is one of their recommended items.Service is good, fast, and straightforward. There are no frills or pleasantries which is totally fine by me. Parking is also plentiful since it's located in a shopping plaza.

Clean and they have tomato egg noodle when the hunger pangs hit later at night in IrvineMaybe the dry food is better than the soup, the soup was kinda whatever but the wonton was yummy==========Wonton in chicken soup $14ishis on the phone app, but not the physical menuBrothSuper strong on white pepper, almost a bit too cray? Chili oil didn't really do anything to quell lol he amount of soup is ok, but could be better with more spoonfuls. If it was more chickeny also.. not as chickeny as other spots.WontonsI'd like it if the skin was a touch more thin! But the inside meatball tastes yummy. Shrimp is sweet and the aroma of sesame oil is nice. You get 9-10 pieces which are pretty meaty and what I'd imagine your eyeball size to be. Around a golfball size.ServiceCan order via QR code or get the servers attention. The QR code offers pictures! I found that to be more useful than the physical menu

This new establishment is only about 5 months old. Their original location is in Lake Forest and seems to be a mix of a couple of different authentic Chinese food cuisines, Shanghainese, Sichuan and others. The service was very quick and extremely helpful. As we went during off peak hours it was quiet and a very easy going ambiance. The flavors of all the dishes were very authentic, we ordered the Shen Jian Bao (Pan fried pork dumplings) upon arrival as we know that they usually take a while. Along with garlic tossed Bao Chou and Dan Dan Noodles. Everything was tasty and I'm looking forward to trying new dishes when returning. Prices were also very reasonable making the dining experience all the more worth it.

Stopped by here Christmas afternoon for some lunch. This spot located next to Mitsuwa has plenty of parking. We were seated almost immediately which I found surprising for it being a holiday. We ordered the pork xiao long bao, shumai, egg fried rice, and shrimp fried noodles. Xiao long bao was tasty, careful because it's very hot. Menu says 10 pieces but it is actually 8, just a heads up. Egg fried rice was tasty as well, generous portion and worth the price. Shrimp fried noodles were a bit of a miss, it was very salty and I wish there had been more shrimp. Shumai wasn't bad, it was mostly sticky rice when I thought there would be a lot of meat inside. Prices were fair for food quality and portion size.Staff was attentive and food came out quick considering all the tables were full. Decent lunch spot, I could see myself returning in the future.
