First off, hat's off to the service here! The artichoke was smaller than average (menu says jumbo artichoke) and we're repeat customers. It's tough enough as it is to complain. In this day & age no one wants to feel like a Karen/Ken, so I go about speaking complaints in a calm tone, usually with an example or metaphor to explain a point. The manager understood my example and agreed. I totally was expecting just a half of an artichoke. I am not expecting to be waited on hand and foot (so to speak), just what felt was a fair amount to equal to the size of what was in the past. The manager said he can bring out another one. Being one who is used to management being short with customers and replacing a dish with the same mistake, I was taken back when we were told we would be given an additional artichoke. The manager just wants the customers to have a great experience. If only other restaurant managers would have the same outlook. This is why we keep coming back, for the care and love of the customer and the energy put into the dishes. In other words, the whole package here. Thank you King's Fish House for taking the time to making us feel welcome and loved. You are a shining example.
