3/27/2025 - Thursday Ordered:2 Medium Size "Signature Karak Chai" $11.902 Slices of "Burnt Basque Cheesecake" $241 Pistachio Knafeh Cookie $10.50Karak Chai - I liked it a lot! It was not watered down, was really creamy and the sugar that is included was perfect amountKnafeh Cookie was our least favorite, too chocolaty, too sweet, couldn't really tell the taste besides chocolate and somewhat crunchiness. Burnt Basque Cheesecake - 8.5/10! Sooooo Good! Creamy, nothing I have ever had, better than a regular cheesecake. We bought 2 extra to take home, the chocolate sauce that comes with it, I don't recommend it doesn't taste that great with it, by itself is perfect! Weekdays is best, not crowded as much! Overall: it is quite pricey, but once awhile is fine to stop by :)

My fiance and I were craving a delicious coffee, and saw this cafe had a pistachio latte. It took about three minutes of waiting for a girl to finally come to the front and take our order. Although the pistachio latte was delicious, my drink was $8 and the girl barista didn't even fill up my drink all the way to the top of my cup at least, not to mention it was mostly ice. Super disappointed!

We've become regulars at Karak now, we were so excited that such a trendy cafe opened up in the corner that used to be a Starbucks. It's in a wide spaced plaza with plenty of parking. They have gorgeous seating outside and inside surrounding their cafe. I always get their signature karak chai but only hot and this time I was able to get it iced. It was a subtle chai taste that doesn't give that tingling sensation that sometimes can hit you when the chai is too strong. Hubby wanted his iced americano with extra ice less water and he said it tasted well. The icing on this place is the sweet treats they have on display. Anything with biscoff is a win in my book and the cheesecake and date bar are mouthwatering. You'll want to savor every bite because you simply can't just eat one. The gal who took my order was nice and the guy who made my drinks this morning was busy at work taking his time which I appreciated. It can get very busy on the weekends and wait times can be long but they are open late so that's also a plus.

Cute Quaint place to enjoy some pastries and Tea or Coffee. The interior decor is super cute with a few small tables inside and some outdoors as well. Customer service was great, my son didn't like the chai and they were very accommodating to change his drink to a refresher. The pastries were delicious and worth coming back for! I wasn't a big fan of their chai but it wasn't bad at all. It was just not one of my favorites I've had. Overall I will definitely be back!!

Staff here is very nice. They made recommendations and were very accommodating. It's very packed most of the time so don't come here if you're looking for a quiet coffee shop to study. This place is more for catching up with a friend or grabbing a quick pick me up. I ordered the cardamom latte. I wasn't impressed as there was no taste of cardamom or coffee. It was as if I were drinking warm milk. I don't know if I'll be back, but this place has great reviews so maybe I came on a bad day. I may give it one more try we'll see

I found Karak House on IG and was happy to see that they were pretty close to where I live. I actually saw them because of Muse Cheesecake's collaboration whom I also follow on IG. Muse, is a small up and coming Cheesecake company in SD that we have been wanting to visit, but the drive down for dessert has put us off, at least for a while. I was excited to come try Karak house when I saw the collab.Karak, is in a small shopping plaza in Laguna Hills. There is plenty of parking available, including handicap right in from of the cafe. There's seating inside and outside the establishment. Inside is absolutely beautiful and even more so at night. The dark green is a gorgeous touch. Seating can be extremely limited in the evening being that people like to sit here and chitchat with friends. I don't blame them at all. It is a nice place to be. What we've ordered: -The drip coffee - is tasty brew with hazelnut and caramel notes. They have a pour-over option which I am going to do next time. - Regular latte - great with any dessert since it's not sweet. - Mocha latte extra hot - delicious - Honey lavender latte with oat milk extra hot - which was also delicious. I don't know if it's my favorite version, but it was good and I would order it again. - The muse basque cheesecake - is amazing, so if and when they carry it, it is a must have. - Chocolate pistachio cookie - which is a cookie version of the Dubai chocolate bar. It was decadent, dark chocolate with pistachio. - Pistachio cheesecake- OMG. My eyes rolled back it was so good. I would definitely come back to this place again and again. Customer service has been on par for us, luckily. We have not had any issues with the people who worked here so I'm thankful for that. Cheers to a new dessert and coffee joint in South OC.

I can say WOW about this coffee shop. The service was terrific, and the coffee was delicious. I got the large Rose Cardamom Latte, which costs $6.85, and the large Honey Lavender Latte, which also costs $6.85. The dessert was also delicious. The Dubai chocolate cookie was amazing, and the Biscoff cookie cakes were amazing, bursting with flavor. The ambiance was amazing.

This coffee cafe is located in a plaza so there's plenty of parking. There is both inside seating as well as tables outside the shop.The patient fellow behind the counter was quietly nice while I looked over my choices. I selected a hot mocha latte and, additionally, a Biscoff cheesecake from the pastry case. It was early afternoon and only a few people sitting indoors so there were several empty tables for me to choose from to sit and enjoy my order.The cheesecake was superb. The cheesecake was deliciously sandwiched between a Biscoff crust and a thin caramel topping. It wasn't overly sweet and was the perfect accompaniment to my latte. While the mocha latte itself was smooth and ever-so-slightly sweet, the presence of a chocolate flavor was negligible. I'm not in this area often but would definitely recommend it as a comfortable spot to relax and enjoy an espresso drink and one of their many pastry options.

Karak House Coffee is an aesthetic chai and coffee shop, popular amongst those who want to grab a drink with friends, or working professionals. When we visited on a Saturday afternoon around 2:00pm, the store was full of patrons and we opted to sit outside. The store clerks were helpful and provided our order of the signature Karak Chai and the original Ras Malai quickly.The chai came well heated with double walled glassware. I personally prefer more spice and complex chai, but their tea satisfied my craving! I really enjoyed their Ras Malai milk cake, it's the best I've had as it wasn't runny at all and the flavors were well balanced. Would definitely like to return again to try other drinks on their menu.
