Best burrito in town? Definitely a contender. Nice friendly and clean spot. We haven't been in years and finally came back now with two kiddos. The kids enjoyed sharing their bacon and eggs plate along with a side of sausages. We opted to share the breakfast burrito and it was surprisingly very good even though we didn't select a meat.

Food is consistently great. So friendly, happy seem like they actually like being at work. I have been here soooo many times and never has my order been wrong. Clean & fresh & Christian music always playing

Service: servers were friendly and helpful. We have 2 young children and they offered to bring our drinks to our table since they saw us with our hands full. The waitress came by 2 times for coffee refills. The restaurant looks clean and inviting, a nice casual spot for dining. Breakfast burrito: was tasty, the filings had even proportions , I could taste some nice crispy hashbrowns in there, which I love! individual rating 4/5Omelette - overcooked and dry, there was a piece of sliced cheese thrown on top (Kraft single?) nothing special , just ok. Reminded me of a fast food restaurant omelette. individual rating: 2/5Kids meal: basic scrambled eggs were fine, bacon was crispy which my toddler loved, and pancake was also eaten. Individual rating 3/5We may just return for the burritos, not sure about other items!

Best breakfast burritos, especially for the proce! Excellent portions and taste and very economical!

I have been wanting to stop here for breakfast burritos for years. Except I was never there early in the morning till today. There is no drive thru, so I parked in one of the curb side pick up parking spots and called in my order. It was done very quickly. The lady that took the order on the phone was very efficient. When she brought my burritos to the car she was very friendly.At first, I thought geez that was fast. I forgot to mention took cook the bacon very crisp! I ordered 1 bacon burrito and 1 chorizo. To my surprise, the bacon was cooked just the way I like it, Crispy .The chorizo was good, too, but I like the bacon more because it tasted better with those hashbrowns. I like chorizo with Papa's better. She asked if I wanted everything in them Next time, I will not have tomatoes. The salsa is enough.

I hadn't been to the Brea location John's Place for a few years and have recently gone several times within the last 4+ months. There are different employees now who are polite, friendly and helpful - I didn't get the girls' names but they are both very nice. :) Our orders are always correct, and the food has been great. We've had sandwiches, burgers, grilled chicken dinner plates, Greek pita sandwiches, and fries. The chocolate cake is delicious! The restaurant is always clean and it's quiet and relaxing - the radio ("The Fish" 95.9) isn't too loud so we can still enjoy our conversation but it's nice background music :D It would be nice if they closed a little later - it was 8pm and one of the male employees from the kitchen actually turned off the lights while we were still in the restaurant!

casual diner with very old-style decorations. doesn't seem like much from first glance but the food itself was better than expected. would give 3.5 stars but no half stars, so i'm giving it 4 ~Food~avocado burger: 9/10 very solid burger. the meat was nice and juicy and there was a lot of avocado. i'm a big fan of raw onion and they put a large amount of them so it was perfect for my tastesausage and 3 eggs breakfast: 6/10 the sausages were very mediocre but the hash browns were delicious. the eggs were also standard, nothing special ~Service: ok service, servers don't seem to care much about the quality of service ~Cost: $ very affordable~Parking: plenty of plaza parking

Staff was nice but food is not consistently made. One time I ordered a bacon cheeseburger minus the onions. My order had onions and avocado. The burger fell apart and was difficult to eat. Another time I ordered pancakes and they were fluffy and delicious.

My dad placed an order over the phone. He ordered 2 sausage breakfast burritos, both with NO pico and No cilantro. My dad got home with the food and 1 breakfast burrito had pico and cilantro. Placing the order was a challenge, he had to repeat himself numerous times. Not sure if it's language barrier or workers not paying attention. Food is a hit and miss lately. Last few times we've gone there it was disappointing.

Good is always great! From burgers to breakfast burritos. Never had a problem here. Service always amazing. And clean environment. People that give low reviews are bitter. Always check their other reviews from other businesses. These are the type of people that are miserable.
