Went here for Christmas Eve dinner and it was so good! The Mongolian beef is what dreams are made of. I'll never forget that delicious wok flavor paired with the juiciest beef and onions. The sweet and sour pork is also good but the beef is better and more memorable. Another star dish is the Jajangmyeon black bean noodle because it's so authentic. I just wish it had some green onion or cucumber on top like in those k drama shows. The portions are huge so it's easy to do family style here. The only down side is there is only one lady working and looks like only one chef in the back cooking everything. She speaks both Korean and Chinese which I appreciate but they are understaffed. Overall it's a good place for those comforting and homemade meals!

Jo Won Noodle House is a gem! We ordered potstickers, sweet and sour pork, fried rice, black bean noodles, and beef stir fry, and everything was absolutely delicious. Each dish was packed with flavor, and the portions were generous--the black bean noodles and sweet and sour pork were definite standouts! This is a true mom-and-pop restaurant, and it shows in the care they put into their food and service. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The ambiance is simple and cozy, perfect for enjoying a relaxed meal.If you're in the area, definitely stop by and support this wonderful local spot. We'll be coming back for more!

One word: AUTHENTIC.This place reminds me of a jajangmyun places in Korea when I was young.Me and my wife ordered jajangmyun(black bean noodles) and jjampong(spicy seafood noodle soup)Jajangmyun hit the spot - this is EXACTLY how it should taste - and this is the dish you should try here for authentic taste. Jjampong was really good- prefer it to be but more spicy, all else was awesome. They don't have yellow radish, but they had onions to dip in black bean sauce if you asked....Ahhhh the nostalgia. !!! The authentic taste of jajangmyun brings back the good ole memories when I had this in Korea.

Back again, every time I visit LA and Garden Grove I always make it a choice to stop by here. This is one of the best places for jajangmyun, I really love their house made noodles and their kimchi pairs really well. Their kimchi is not the typical red, but a white style kimchi that pairs well with the flavors of the black bean sauce. Also their fried dumplings (mandoo) is really good I highly recommend this family owned and operated restaurant.Service could be hit or miss because it's just a sweet grandma running this place and her husband I believe as the cook. So if it's super busy I would say don't be afraid to ask or call her over but also be a little understanding.Ambiance is def. a hole in the wall but I enjoy it, a flash back to old restaurant decor of the past with its unique used/vintage charm.l

This is a great take out restaurant. I absolutely love the food but the service is really bad. After my experience at the restaurant i checked other reviews and realized that my experience was common. The lady who manages the front had such a warm personality when we first met her but that changed very quickly over the 30 minutes i was there at the restaurant. It gets quite uncomfortable when you see her causing drama right in front of you. That being said the spicy seafood noodle here is better than the ones have tried in buena park.

We were driving through the area and my husband saw their sign from the road. Decided we would eat here for lunch. The lady who greeted us was very friendly and talkative, she can speak both Chinese and Korean. We ordered:- spicy seafood soup with noodles - just decent - Mongolian beef with rice - big portion size, beef was quite chewy, flavorful but on the sweet side The interior is dated from when they opened 35+ years ago. Their menu prices went up $5 across all items to keep up with inflation. Apparently their potstickers are huge and very popular but we did not order it.

Food: speechless! I thought I've been going to the best Korean Chinese restaurant but their handmade noodles was like nothing I've ever had. The size of the mandoo was the biggest I've ever seen! Service: I don't know her name but she handled the big restaurant all by herself and made me feel at home. Ambiance: cozy

One of the best Chinese restaurants we've ever had, it's one of our go to spots! Our usual order is chicken chow mein (homemade noodles), shrimp fried rice, and (our new favorite) Mongolian beef. The employees are so sweet and kind. We've never had any issues here, only yummy food and great service. All of the food was super fresh and delicious. The front cover of the menu talks about the increase of $5 per dish due to inflation and costs of produce, any price discrepancies are clearly due to people not reading the notice on the front of the menu.

Came here for our work Pre-Thanksgiving Lunch. Greeted by the friendliness owner. She gave us some recommendations and we were all happy we did. Our favorites were the giant potstickers and the Mongolian Beef but everything was great. Even when we were stuffed we kept eating Glad we got to celebrate here and have added a restaurant into our rotation
