JC Beans Coffee House

Okay, let me say first I used to come here all of the time in high school when it was owned by the previous owners. LOVED it. It was cozy, welcoming, quirky and warm. Now, the whole vibe inside feels pretentious and very barren. Super disappointing what they've turned it into. And the drinks are way expensive Used to get the drinks here to support the sweet owners, and the prices used to be at least comparable to Starbucks, but now it's more expensive (which is ridiculous), and the new owners have bleached the place of all personality & gone corporate. I got an almond milk SF caramel latte & it was good, although they use sweetened Silk almond milk. I like that they have SF caramel & Vanilla, most places only have vanilla.

Oh this gem of ours is loved dearly because it is hand down one of the best chai I've had. It literally tasted like Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Not overly sweet, and doesn't taste like anything artificial. Hubby says out of all the places to get coffee they never get his order wrong here, and that's his iced americano, extra ice, no water. We love the drive through option as parking can be very tricky. You'd have to park on the sides and walk over, not a bad option to do when the beach is right there so depends on your mood.

A Nutty Delight at JC BeanI recently indulged in a delightful almond latte at JC Bean in Dana Point. The rich, creamy texture, combined with the subtle nutty flavor of almond milk, was simply heavenly. The baristas expertly crafted the latte, ensuring a perfect balance of flavors. Whether you're a coffee connoisseur or a casual drinker, I highly recommend giving this latte a try.

Came across this cute coffee shop a couple years ago in Dana Point. We were driving and saw a line of cars in the drive thru and said it must be good look at all the cars and we were pleasantly surprised that it was indeed so good. We get the Mexican Mocha, Vanilla Latte's, Zebra mocha, and my daughters love the blended freezes. Service is always friendly and helpful.

JC Beans is a sweet little coffee shop in the Dana Point area right on the main PCH strip near one of the busy market streets Del Prado. It is a small location with a drive-through that gets very busy because of breakfast burritos and tasty coffee. The croissants are prepackaged and OK nothing to write home about. But the inside ambience is adorable. Small with a little woodburning stove and a library to borrow books from. This spot is a it's probably this way because we're gonna get super cute little spot to stop in when you're in town

I ordered the pumpkin spice latte with coconut milk substitute. My friend had the matcha with coconut milk. Both hot and delicious.. Cute place off PCH in Dana point with good indoor and outdoor seating.

The last few times I've ordered from here the coffee has tasted so burnt. I really want to support local, but I feel like this place charges for every little thing. I ordered a breve vanilla latte with whipped cream and they charged not only for the breve, but also for the vanilla and for whipped cream. I ended up paying $8 for a latte (I was shocked) because I usually pay around $6 with the same exact order every time which was always fine and when I asked them how a latte went from being $6 to $8 they explained the charged for everything I added to my latte and they were so rude about it too. I won't be going back or supporting local here, unfortunately.

I've never been inside so I'm only rating the actual coffee itself, 5 stars. Flavor and smoothness of the coffee stands out above other coffee shops.

Worst idea to check this place out! If you have 40 minutes to wait for your mediocre coffee come here!

This is my favorite DP coffee shop, I've been coming here for over 5+ years. I love the drive through, you really can't find many local shops like this that have a drive through option. I usually get a cold brew or iced matcha and I always enjoy. Love the experience!
