J Sushi Brea

Hands down, the best sushi and rolls in the Brea area! Everything was so fresh and well prepared. I don't like sushi places that drown their dishes in heavy sauces that mask the flavor of the sushi. This place excels at keeping the sushi true to its essence--not overpowering, yet incredibly fresh in taste. Their service is exceptional, with the friendliest servers. The restaurant was sparkling clean and tidy, which is a must for me.Oh, I almost forgot to mention the udon! (sadly, no pic) Their noodle soup was surprisingly pleasing. I expected a store-bought base with an MSG-heavy taste, but they do it differently. The soup was flavorful and had a clean taste. I even asked the server, and they mentioned that they make the broth from scratch. That's a huge plus for me! 100% returning back!

Went here on a Thursday evening around 5:30. It wasn't busy and we were seated right away. Our servers were friendly. However for it not being busy, the food did take a little while to come out. I ordered the Beef Yakisoba which I really enjoyed! The noodles were seasoned just right in my opinion. The beef was also nice and tender too! The dish was overall very flavorful. Also for the price, the portion wasn't too bad either.

My family and I will commute over 25minutes from Rowland Heights to experience JSushi weekly! The friendly and welcoming atmosphere with the Amazing, Fresh, Impeccable food will blow anyone's taste sensation! All of their appetizers such as the Mixed Tempura and Gyoza has the most delicious & unique crunch made from clean oil that it's hard to compare with other restaurants.The daily specials range from $6.99 and we look forward to what the monthly specials are whether it may be a Special Roll or Bento Box. Every Bento Box includes their 1 Of A Kind Secret Miso Soup, Spring Mix Salad with their Ginger Dressing, and the Protein is over Rice. During winter time our family adores the Udon noodles and truly believe JSushi has the BEST UDON IN ALL OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA!!! The Noodles and Broth ( No MSG) compliments the Sushi and Rolls.There are so many varieties of Rolls to choose from so be prepared to be blown away by the Fresh & Intricate Menu and Recipe. You can tell the Kitchen Staff and Sushi Chef take Pride in their Art Form and is efficient when it comes to the timely execution to have the food delivered to your table and for take out. The staff is always professional, warm, and always feel a Vibrant energy from them. Good things come in small packages and the Cozy little Gem in Brea stays true to Quality over Quantity with the perfect Price point!My son had to have JSushi to celebrate his 10th Birthday at our Church Youth Group to share with his Pastor and friends. Everybody was so Happy and Thrilled with the Food and that's what Matters the Most... To Experience Delicious Food With The People We Love Hallelujah for JSushi!!!

Denise was such a sweetheart! I come here often with friends and family, I decided to come alone this time and the service is just as amazing each time. The food is super delicious per usual!!!! Will be coming back AGAIN

Definitely worth a try if you're in the area. Rolls were delicious. Would name them for you, but the waitress ended up messing up our receipts..gave us the wrong one, gave us the right one but then charged the wrong one, then eventually got it right. It appeared to be a genuine accident, but just pay attention to your bill. Overall, service was quick. It is a small place, so expect to have a small wait if you go for a dinner during the weekend.

Love J Sushi for a quick sushi run; plus, you can't beat their quick service and their sushi deal of the month!

We order to-go from here quite often, portions good and service always good. Got 3 bento plates. This review is not about the food. Unfortunately my wife found a piece of metal in her beef. Would like a response from management so this will not happen again. We understand that this was not on purpose, but it could have been bad if she bit into it or swallowed it.

I door dashed the Salmon Lover roll and added cream cheese to make it a super Philadelphia roll. Omg guys... the salmon melted in my mouth from how fresh it was. I haven't had sushi this amazing in a long time! I'll definitely see this place in person next time.

The food here is delicious, from Sushi to Ramen to their specialty bowls. Their service is quick, friendly, and always with a smile. This place is a machine consistently turning out good food.
