What an amazing lunch today. Our first time visiting and we were so impressed with the service, food and ambiance. Ghazal was our server extraordinare and what a blessing. She also does special events and catering. We started with drinks and the Kashk bademjan with fresh flatbread. Oh my it was delicious. We then ordered our entrees. My wife had the koobideh combo with rice and salad and I had the chicken koobideh plate. The food was simply amazing and Ghazal was kind, pleasant and attentive. We also had the baklava for dessert and it was scrumptious. This place is now on our favorites list and popular and a 5 star restaurant.Highly recommended

Irvine Grill in the Quail Hill Shopping Center has become one of my favorite weekend indulgences. This charming Persian restaurant never disappoints with its flavorful and delicious cuisine. The Persian rice is simply irresistible, and the Koobideh combo is always a must--my son insists I bring it home if he's not dining with me!While the indoor dining area can get busy (a testament to how popular this place is), I always opt for the lovely patio seating. There's nothing better than enjoying a meal al fresco, especially with the consistently beautiful weather we have in Southern California. The service is warm and attentive, and every visit feels like a treat. Irvine Grill is my go-to spot for authentic Persian flavors, and I can't recommend it enough.

I went there to place a to-go order twice, and both times, this happened: while I was speaking with the lady who usually takes orders, their phone rang, and she answered it without completing my order! You rarely encounter such poor customer service in America.I left without ordering today. Thankfully, there are plenty of other restaurants nearby with much better customer service, higher quality food, and more reasonable prices.

I had the Boneless Lamb Kabob. The lamb was exquisite: perfectly cooked, gratifying, and flavorful. As you will note in the photo below, this plate was very substantial. My wife couldn't decide which stew to order so she selected the Three Stew Combination (which I sampled). The "sample" of three stews turned out to be quite a bit larger than expected. Each of the stews had different ingredients and each was savory and superb. Service was very good and prices were reasonable (especially considering the portions served).Altogether, it was an exceptionally good dining experience.

It's a gorgeous restaurant. We had attentive and friendly service. The food is delicious! The lunch specials Are kind of unbelievable Where can you get a lunch sized portion of kebab, Or Persian stew, with rice, and complimentary bread for under $15!!??this is a lovely full service restaurant with great food! The patio was also wonderful. It was sunny, a bit chilly, but it's covered and has glass wall and heaters. It was so nice to be outside after a few really chilly days. I HIGHLY recommend the place,Especially for lunch specials

We had really high hopes and were looking forward to trying Irvine Grill. Our first dining experience left us quite underwhelmed. Starting with what bothered us the most: Service: From the front desk to our server they were all very scattered and unattractive. Our server did not come back to our table once the food was served that included refilling our drinks. We were missing items from our food and even after asking two different ppl I had to go inside by the kitchen, couldn't get help so grabbed the front desk lady to help us get missing food items. By the time I got back to our table my food was all cold and I didn't enjoy eating cold kabob. Then we were done with food for a long time and our server never showed up to give us the check. I had to go inside again to grab him. So overall very disappointing.Food: food was ok but not great, our beef koobideh lacked flavor. Rice was hot and cooked to perfection. Salad was fresh, but they did not give us salad dressing. Tahdig and three stews: this was really bad, the tahdig was burnt and extremely hard, drenched in oil. You could spoon out the oil from the plate. Our jaw/teeth could not handle chewing the hard tahdig. The Fesenjan stew was great! Really good taste and consistency. Gheymeh was really bad, very watery and only tasted like cinnamon, ghormeh sabzi was good consistency but lacked flavor. Portions were very good. Ambiance: we sat outside, location of our table was not very desirable so the atmosphere was nothing noteworthy. Overall, it wasn't the best experience for us to come back. Clearly they have enough patrons to keep the business going but we are big on service so I don't think we'll be back.

I like this place. The service was good and the lambwas excellent. The portions are large, and there are many choices of meats and vegetarian items. Some of the highlights are the Persian tea along with Baclava for dessert. I had barbecue lambon a skewer. It is big enough to share. It comes withrice and tomato and small salad. Everything is excellent. Our waiter was fantastic. He was attentive and made sure we were comfortable in all ways. The atmosphereis excellent. I recommend Irvine Grill.

I love this restaurant! When you are there you feel the great management and discipline behind it! They have a big menu and its not easy to keep the quality of all that different dishes high! I am so impressed, we got Ab Goosht and the Branzino and both very tasty and delicious! The interior design is very cool and I think this is the only Persian restaurant in OC that you can take other nationalities and be proud! If you have not yet, go and try them!

Still great! My chicken wasn't as fresh as our last visit, but it was still good. And salad dressing on the side is definitely the move.
