Absolutely delicious Indian food. The quality is that of what you would get at a high end Indian restaurant. The food is flavored perfectly and the quantity per item served is huge ! Amazing underrated spot!

Delicious and flavorful Indian food that has the feel of home-cooked food! Generous portions for a good price? What else can you ask for? Kuki and Rupi were so hospitable and nice. I'm so glad I stumbled upon this Indian restaurant. The establishment is humble but the flavor and freshness of the food is really exceptional. I'll definitely come back.I tried their Chicken Biryani and Chicken Tikka Masala with Garlic Naan and I savored every bite.

I ordered through Yelp and first I thought oh well, just try it. It blows my mind! It's so good!!! The samosa is 5 star!!! I understand the quite pricey on it since it's yorba Linda, but the taste of the samosa is awesome! I had it for to go, and we ate it at home and it was so good!!! The chicken is so juicy and flavored well in spices! Must say it's quite a lot for the portion! 5 star and yes we love it here!!!

I've been craving Indian food and found this spot for some lunch! The owner Ruby helping me was super nice. All the items looked delicious so I went with the 2-Item plate and decided to get Tikka Masala & the Tandoori Chicken. I waited about 10 mins for fresh Tandoori, there was a slight mishap with the order but Ruby made it right for me which was good. I also got the Garlic Naan and the Naans were massive and came with 2 pieces. Overall, a pleasant experience and will definitely head back there for more Indian food in the future!

Good priced take out indian food. They have the usual options and it's all pretty good. Garlic naan is especially good. I thought the Tikka masala chicken was a little tough but the tandoori chicken was really good. This is an area without many Indian options so I'm glad I found this place.

Indian Food Express is located in a small shopping center on the corner of Yorba Linda Blvd and Lakeview. It's easy to locate and access. Parking is very limited and is a challenge during peak meal times.The restaurant is small, but it does offer limited inside seating. No outdoor seating is available. Their menu offers a decent amount of a la carte main dish choices (24 oz servings), some combo plates options, desserts, and sides. For drinks, you can choose either soda fountain or canned/bottled beverages. I opted for a combo plate. The main dish offerings for the combo plates feature their most popular dishes and selection is limited. I ordered a 2-item combo and picked chicken tikka masala and curry chicken. Both were very fresh and flavorful. The chicken (dark meat) was tender and the ratio of chicken to sauce was good. The curry chicken has some slight heat. Naan is available for an extra charge. I've only ever had plain or garlic naan, but they have a few other choices here. I tried the green chili garlic naan today. Those little chilis pack a spicy punch! Even so, I couldn't stop eating it! Dipping it in the chicken sauce helps tone it down a little, but keep a drink nearby :)I think it's the chili naan that will have me coming back!Service was good ~ the guy working the front was friendly and was happy to answer my questions. The food came out quickly and was piping hot, even tho I took it to go. So come by and give them a try and definitely try the green chili naan.

Delicious! I've driven by this restaurant multiple times and finally decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did, because I've finally got a go-to Indian spot in the area! The inside is super clean and offers a few two-person tables for dine-in!I ordered the 2 item combo with chicken tikka masala and saag paneer. The combo comes with rice and naan (small upcharge for garlic naan which was worth it!). Everything was insanely delicious!! The tikka masala sauce was creamy and yummy (wanted to eat spoonfuls of just the sauce - it was that good), and the chicken was cooked to a perfect tenderness. The saag paneer was surprisingly good too! I'm used to it being not too flavorful at other places, but this item here is one I'd order again.Staff is also super kind! Greeted upon entrance and even checked in mid-meal to make sure I liked it.Will definitely be back!

Despite the simplistic name, Indian Food Express is so much more. Yes it's in a tiny space, and mainly for takeout orders. Parking could be a bit difficult during peak dining hours. As an Indian American, I've been exposed to Punjabi food my entire life and most of the places serve curries that have similar flavor bases and do not represent what normal households would prepare. This place on the other hand - is a gem! This family owned fast food place has delicious flavors and all the curries have distinct notes that set them apart from others. The food isn't oily like other places I've eaten at. It actually tastes more like home cooked food. The servers I've had are really helpful and friendly.

Yesss, I like. Granted, it doesn't have the sexiest name. And it's counter service. But the food? So good! The veggie samosas? Stop it, so great! And bonus: free with Yelp check-in. And the naan! The fluffiest! If you've been sleeping on it because of the boring marquee that plainly calls itself "INDIAN FOOD," then you're making a mistake. I am guilty of doing the same, but a colleague woke me up to it. I'm a dedicated fan of the flashier Indian restaurant down the street whose name evokes something zen, but considering the price point here, they can really go toe to toe. There must be some sort of connection, as I noted so many similarities between the two. If you love Indian food, go give 'em a shot. The newfound discovery will make you feel like you you're walking away with the winningest win.

Tasty and well priced Indian food that is hot and quick. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We usually get their combo plates and all our selections have been wonderful. It's a local spot to YL and would probably be crazy busy if closer to a freeway, so we are thankful for their location.
