The food here is delicious! I normally get the yellow curry. The proteins are also well done. I ordered the chicken satay many times and then moved on to the pork. Now that I discovered the fried chicken it's been my go to. I've heard their soups are good as well as their noodle dishes. I can usually make one order last for two meals. You can choose your spice level 1-5...I like level 3 which is pretty spicy and I add more of their hot sauce as well. You can add extra protein or extra curry to help make the dish last as well. Just ask.

Location / It is located in a giant plaza next to Crumbl cookie. The restaurant itself is moderately size and it seems it's more like casual to eat or take out. You go up to the register and order your food and let them know whether or not you want to dine in or takeout.Service /I would consider this place to be a very casual food spot. The workers are very nice and friendly. The food does come out really quickly, which is great if you are in a rush for lunch or possibly wanting to take out for dinner.Food / I ordered the fried tofu for the appetizer, yellow curry with chicken, and Tom soup with chicken. The fried tofu was really crispy and it's topped with peanuts and some cilantro and a sweet chili sauce. If you are allergic to peanuts, please make sure to let them know that you don't want peanuts on your appetizer. The yellow curry with chicken was a huge portion for the price and it is really filling. The vegetables were really soft and the chicken made it a very hearty meal paired with rice. The Tom cause soup with chicken has a very strong coconut flavor if you like that and a good portion of chicken inside of it. I really like the menu because a lot of the food options you get to choose your protein of choice so for us I ordered the chicken as a protein, but you can order like beef, shrimp, or even tofu instead. For the price that you pay for it really is great for a budget meal in this economy lol and the food is delicious.I would definitely come back here and try their other dishes .

This is our go to Thai food place to eat. When you walk in, you get greeted right away. My favorite to order is Pad see Ew. My protein was shrimp. I added tofu. The noodle is cooked well. The flavor was blended well together. My boyfriend of the Spicy chicken basil. If you like spicy food, this is for you. It's not super spicy, it has a kick to it. You can add more spice to it if you like. Over all I would recommend this place for a group of friend or a mini date. You can dine in or to go it. We have always to go because we do our mini date at home with it.

Good food and reasonable pricing, a bit of a price increase over the years but understandable. I appreciate that they upgraded the disposable plates. The lettuce wrap is amazing!! Highly recommended.

Came here as a HUNGRY BOY and left as a FULL BOY! All jokes aside, Hungry Boy Thai Cafe is one of the best fast casual Thai eateries you can find in the OC area. This spot is located in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots. Inside, they have a lot of awesome Thai inspired decor and about 5-6 tables for seating. As for their menu, they have a solid selection of all the Thai staples ranging from different rice, noodles, and curry dishes. Today for my lunch run, I opted to get the Pad Thai with BBQ Pork and the flavors were hitting the spot! Overall, I have been here on numerous occasions for dine in and for takeout and the food was delicious every time! This spot gives generous portions and lets you customize your food through controlling your spice level, picking from their different meat options, and using different sauces from their sauce station. All of the staff here are very friendly and efficient.

I had this food delivered to a customer's office and it was tasty. I had the chicken Pad Thai and I thought it was good. The prices were reasonable and the office staff had recommended this place. I would recommend this place for a convenient lunch delivery.

The only reason I rate this Thai restaurant 3 stars was for their Penang curry, that was delicious, I was very very disappointed w the other dishes. I read other people reviews and had high hope. The Tom Yum noodle soup was like a bowl of sugar spicy water, I had asked for 2 out of 5 level of heat, what I had was 4 and too sweet, if you have diabetes, this would cause an attack, what were they thinking, needless to say, I ditched it, the drunken noodle was likewise so sweet, I pressed some lemon from my garden, then some Mexican lime ( the kind they put in margarita in Mexico, very flavorful also from my garden) added soy sauce, nothing worked, I ditched 1/2 of it. I don't understand, I have been to Thailand so many times to Bangkok, pattaya, Phuket, Kosamui and nowhere was the food full of sugar, it was not acceptable. It's sad as I'm sure the tom yum w less sugar would have been flavorful, now my mouth is blistered again. The best Thai food is in GG, Jumpa thai unfortunately it's too far for me, I live in HB, I'm willing to give it 1 more chance maybe it was a one off but i'm afraid not much will change, I'll go back for convenience.
