After my favorite bun bo bue spot shut down, I couldn't find another place that satisfied my taste buds until I stumbled upon Hue's Kitchen on DoorDash. I've ordered from here three times so far, and the food has been consistently delicious. This will be my new go-to spot for BBH now.

I been eyeing Hue Kitchen for a couple of years and never made an effort to drop by. With so much other "pho" like restaurants in the Garden Grove, Santa Ana and Westminster areas, I never felt compelled to stop by. Who knew I've been missing out. :)I finally got an opportunity stop in to support this great family owned business to try their "specialty" noodle soup, especially the Bun Bo Hue.The owner/hostess greeted us as we walked through the door and quickly seated us. There are over a dozen tables available to accommodate both couples and groups. We ordered two different noodles bowls so we can try the broth. The soup is flavorful and not overly spicy (so I added chili peppers), the ingredients of pig blood were surprisingly good. The noodles cooked to perfection, and the meatballs are flavorful. I just wish the temperature of the soup was a bit hotter. It was room temperature hot.Overall, Hue Kitchen's casual setting, combined with the quality of the food and good service, will certainly encourage me to come back.

Our family of 7 came here for lunch today. We had several orders of each: banh beo, banh nam, cha tom (shrimp paste) banh canh tom cua (shrimp & crab udon), bun bo hue (BBH) (beef noodles Hue style) , etc.Banh beo was really good, especially the fresh ground shrimp topping and the sauce. 5 of 5.My sister had 2 orders of Banh nam and she loved it. 5 of 5.My other sister and I ordered the udon with shrimp & crab meat. The soup was kind of lukewarm and not piping hot as how I like my soup to be. It comes with big chunks of pork leg meat but it was kind of fatty so I gave them all to my cousin.I've had this dish better at another restaurant. 3 of 5I didn't try the BBH so I can't comment on it.Service was good and food was brought out very quickly. We ate too quickly I forgot to take some photos until we were almost done eating. :)

Walked into this warm and friendly restaurant on the border of the cities of Garden Grove and Santa Ana here in North Orange County, and we were pleasantly comforted by the variety and flavor of all the Vietnamese dishes, from the soups to the banh khot! The service was attentive to not only water, but also made some promising promotional offers that hit the spot! Would definitely return here again soon :)

I recently stopped by here because I was craving a bowl of bbh(bun bo hue) and hubby wanted mq(mi quang). Bbh was sorta disappointing - my bowl came out just lukewarm and the flavors were just lacking. I didn't get the typical aromatic garlic/lemongrass aroma that you should get from a good bowl of bbh. Some of the protein was a bit tough and come on pls add some more tendon! My husband said his mq was good. Better than some other places we've tried but I'm not sure what to expect since it isn't a favorite dish of mine. The broth for the banh canh was good. My kids loved it minus the extra fatty tougher pieces of pork belly.Service was good. We did not have to wait long for a table. They were quite busy for a Monday morning. They were super friendly and also gave us a soy milk dessert at the end of the meal so that was much appreciated. I do want to come back and try the banh beo, banh nam and banh bot loc.

The restaurant is located in a small plaza with plenty of parking. The service is quick and welcoming, and the food is consistently excellent. One of the highlights here is the Bun Bo Hue broth, which stands out for its balanced flavors. The broth isn't overwhelmingly spicy, allowing you to customize the spice level with chili oil. It's rich and savory, thanks to the deep flavors derived from the meat stock, without being overly salted or overpowering. The freshness of the vegetables enhances the overall dish, contributing a crisp, refreshing contrast to the hearty broth. The restaurant itself is spotless, which further elevates the dining experience.

Ordered #1, #5 and #9. #9 might've been the best I've ever had. And this is comparing it to spots in San Jose, all around OC and San Diego (random but we found a lot of good Vietnamese spots there too) #5 was good and #1 was alright, a little on the salty side for me.

We didn't have to wait for a table. It was perfect timing.Definitely one of our staple restaurants for Bun Bo Hue

Came here due to the affordable prices and continued to return due to deliciousness of the food! The broths here are not overly seasoned and taste clean. Bun bo hue is not spicy. Each customer gets a small tofu pudding cup for dessert which is a nice cherry on top.
