Hot Stone Pho

I think I just found my favorite new Vietnamese restaurant. Hot Stone Pho serves some of the most delicious Viet classics, including phở but in the viral hot stone bowl and bò né. I loved how everything was beautifully presented, how quick the food came out, the luxurious interior, and how every dish was a hit! Couldn't be happier with my dining experience here. First time here to try out the hot stone pho.The temperature of the broth in the hot stone pho was hot and it lasted longer than the normal pho bowl. It definitely had a lot of meat.Customer service was good and fast.

Garden Grove is home to one of best pho places in CA, so there's definitely some expectations for this place.Hot stone special (4/5): This caught me eye as I've never had to dip my ingredients into my pho and it seemed cool. I think this is great for people who love to portion out their ingredients, but taste wise; I don't think there's anything too special about it.Definitely recommend this place for the experience.

There was a strong miscommunication between the waitress and myself, and I ended up with an expensive bowl of soup in a stone bowl. Fair warning, requesting one of the non-stone soup combinations in a stone bowl is a nearly 50% markup. Yes, if you order one of the plain soup combinations and request that it's in a stone bowl, you will pay more money for it. You're basically paying more money for it to be put in a different bowl.My family and I try many pho places, but I do not want to come back to this one. My family also had the seafood special, but it was mostly crawfish and it was a big mess to deal with.

I found this place a year ago. I've since gone back MANY times. I put up with the lazy waiters because the pho was so good. But I found an insect in my pho. I was SO disgusted. I had eaten almost half of the soup. And I had brought 4 of my friends for the first time. Needless to say we won't ever be back. Gross.

We did a pick up order, they were super friendly when we went in, it was our first time and honestly the place looks super well taken care of and clean. Will definitely be going back to dine in.Pho was delicious and warm, loved how they packaged more then enough of everything up to sauces, veggies, and utensils.

I really liked:Hot stone short ribs I liked:Vietnamese coffee I think the way you're supposed to eat this is by dipping the meat into the hotpot and then transferring the soup and meat into the bowl with the noodles. I just dumped the noodles into the hotpot and the flavors were too hot go taste at first. After it cooled down, you can tell the brother has excellent flavor. Much richer and deeper than your average pho bowl. The coffee is pretty standard. Service was great, very accommodating of any requests I had and packed a second bowl I ordered to go. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. Lots of space and while I came on a weekday, it wasn't too busy. I enjoyed the different experience of eating pho here!

For a place named "Hot Stone Pho" you would think that their pho must be their best dish, right? And while it's certainly good, the salmon noodles completely stole the show. It was like "beef chow fun" meets "popcorn salmon" and it was as good as it sounds -- perfectly sweet and savory, chewy and crispy. I did not expect it to be that good when we ordered it and I still think about this dish all the time.The pho broth was still pretty solid, balanced in sweetness and savoriness -- not too strong in either. I could drink it all day! The meat was solid and it comes on a separate plate to the table raw, making the cooking process fun.The restaurant space is super big, even though it doesn't appear so on the outside. It would be a great place to bring a big group of folks (like 3-generation meals).

Heard and seen many things about this place! I'm a huge Pho-natic and this one caught my considering the way it's prepared. You have the option to order just a regular bowl of Pho or the hot stone and I HIGHLY recommend opting in the hot stone as you will get the full experience of how it cooks right in front of you. Not to mention it stays hot for a long period of time so if you enjoy eating at a slow and steady pace, it's another reason to order the hot stone!FOODPopcorn ChickenLooked and sounded good at the time and don't regret ordering. It's got a nice crunch that's not overly cooked and pairs great with just about anything. If you love popcorn chicken, you should definitely get yourself a side of this!Hot stone Pho with Ribeye and BrisketThe presentation, quality and quantity is pretty much perfect, can't complain about a thing for this dish and I would order it again the next time I visit. Also you can't really go wrong with brisket! OVERALLAmongst all the food reels I see on Instagram, I thought it was going to be another hyped place that's mediocre, but I have to say I really had a great experience. Not to mention we dined in around 2:00pm which is late for lunch but there was still a decent amount of people there so if you're looking for some Pho and want to experience it in a different way, highly recommend visiting Hot Stone Pho in the late afternoon if you want to get photo/video ops. Food was good here, they have a variety of many foods such as smoothies, mojitos, pho, eggs rolls, and more. However they chargee a service fee without any signs or anything warning you about this. It's 18% worth of the money you pay for the food.
