Chicken pot pies. Yes, we vote with our dollars on neighbors and neighborhood businesses we want to keep here. I chose to spend my $ on Moffett pot pies (caried here) instead of a box store or a giant chain place. And it's a way to include into my routine a bit of adventure. Also got Bonne Maman preserves and Droste chocolates.Holland America is a cute shop to see and support.

I have been coming here for many years. I stop by and purchase dutch food, when I have family in town or to give as gifts. Sadly, the customer service has waned over the years. Lately, every time I've gone in, the person helping in the store is rude. Today when I asked about a specific item that's available only during Christmas time his answer was "I don't know, go look." What's even more dismaying is that there are a lot of expired items available for purchase. They had Christmas items from 2023 available for sale, most of which, were expired. Today I purchased a bag of shrimp chips, and when I got in the car, I ate a couple. They were disgusting! When I looked at the expiration date. It had expired in 2021! See photo.

I'm Dutch, born and raised. This store has gone downhill the last years. Selection is very small, most products are expired, not just by a month, no we are talking A YEAR OR TWO. Thankfully I noticed before I bought it. Don't waste your time, go to the Holland international market down the street.

Good food, good service, tons of items that probably have not seen before unless you were Dutch or have visited the Netherlands. Location:Located right off of Artesia heading towards the city of Bellflower, Holland American International Market is worth a stop if you enjoy sandwiches like me! The store inside is spacious, all the aisles are clean and everything is well maintained.Food:I am not quite sure what the name of the sandwich that I had was, but it was delicious. The sandwich was well put together and had a few flavors that I had not had before. There are about 10-15 different sandwich choices to be had as well as different chips and drinks to choose from. I also had a stroopwafel with my sandwich, because how can you go to a Dutch market and not get one?!?Notes:Stop by, its worth it. Every country and culture has something good to share with others!

Oh boy, this place called Holland American International Market is Totally different from the one I remembered so many years ago. We used to go to the old market regularly to get our Dutch and Indonesian provisions. Then all of a sudden it was closed. We had to find another place to get all the sambals and chocolates from. The Asian markets in Westminster just don't have everything you want stocked. We happily found a small store in Bellflower that is run by a very nice lady and it offered the follow up of the older Holland America. It was thus a great surprise to us that we now have a resurrection of the Holland America Market. This is good news. So we went here to scout out what was new. Well, a new, clean frontage with dark blue floor and a cold case with sausages and cheeses and assorted pastries is what you see when you first enter the store. Wide, clean isles separate the fully stocked Dutch, Indonesian an goods from Europe such as Croatia and a nice selection of Italian. The missus and I were greeted nicely and the lady, I think it was Sally, was so nice to help us explore the store. I bought Dutch goodies and dry Bami and a couple of lempers. I could have spent a lot more time and Dollars. We really enjoyed this new source of specialty items and now we have two stores, just about a mile from each other.

Looking for baking essentials? I'll let you in on a little secret... you can find all your staples here! Flour, yeast, baking power... it's here!!!Like everyone else, I have been scouring supermarket shelves searching for the items I needed just to provide healthy meals for my family during this healthcare crisis. Then I remembered passing by this cute little shop once in a while, so I figured why not just stop in and see if they have anything I could use. I was very pleasantly surprised! This clean, tidy market had everything! Beans, breads, desserts (stroopwaffles, yum!), and all at VERY REASONABLE PRICES! No price gouging here, thank goodness. I picked up what I needed, but also noticed an extremely cute gift section and a deli that looked delicious. Dutch cheeses, anyone? Yes, please! This market is pretty much a hidden gem. But why am I writing a review and giving up the secret? Well, because a good, honest independent market that doesn't raise its prices when you really need them truly deserves a ton of business. Plus, you probably need to find some of the kitchen staples I was looking for, so here's my way of looking out for all of you... from a safe social distance.

Was just up there today excited to shoot for some products. To be perfectly honest, this place looks like it's on its way out. There are many expired products on the shelves, so be careful when you're shopping. The young man who was the only employee in the store today appeared to be too bothered to answer any questions just giving one word answers, and no explanation for anything. it was a delight to go here before we could shop and have lunch afterwards, but lunch is no longer served Norris coffee. The stock is dwindling and I would not be surprised if it was not there next year. Check carefully whenever you buy anything. It was an experience today!

The store seems nice and clean but the food they sold us was expired. Also they were selling some chocolate i bought for 50 percent off but they never applied the discount. can't believe they are allowed to sell 2 year old chocolates.
