High Tide Coffee

I'm giving High Tide coffee a 4.5 out of 5 stars.Let me start by saying that every coffee shop is its own combination of coffee, food offerings, ambience, and staff.Where High Tide excels is ambience and friendliness. The coffee shop is VERY kid friendly and also can double as a gift shop with some higher end items. The staff are friendly and engaging. There's a very positive vibe here.Weekends are busy with long lines. Coffee is good/smooth with just a little acidity and their toasts and burritos are decent and thoughtfully made.

First walking in the inside is a nice open concept with coffee bar in middle. Good vibe.The workers there were not very welcoming when we walked in. So that's a little bummer but not end of world. We were standing looking at the menu at the register with one of the workers standing right there and still said nothing to us. Overall experience is MADE with interaction so not much to be said there.Got the snickerdoodle and lavender latte as well as lemon poppy muffinSnickerdoodle latte- not very sweet ( I like it like that) I'd give it a mid level score for overall flavor. Lavender was not so good. Tasted very burnt, must have been the house made syrup they use. So maybe they could do a little better next time.Went in to try something else and they made a vanilla latte- that was good. Again not overly sweet which is good. And the espresso flavor was good overall.Lemon poppy muffin had really good flavor, icing was good. Size was good. But it was quite dry...not terrible but still dry.Overall good minus the lavender latte and the lack of welcoming from baristas. They were busy so give them a try! Maybe you'll have a different experience

Best matcha in Laguna Niguel! They just got ceremonial grade matcha from Japan. The coffee is great and the vibes are awesome! The cherry blossomMatch latte is great.

This place is leaving a better and better impression. The food is good, the coffee is better. The scored with us having vegan cookies, very good too. They have a play kitchen and sink for kids we will probably come back. Some of the clients are a little stuffy, but come in it's the suburbs, you're gonna have plenty of kids around

Matcha is my newest obsession lately and I'm so glad I chose the Matcha chaga. It has cacao, cinnamon and monk fruit and it was the perfect blend that was nutty and not so sweet. You walk inside this beautiful industrial style coffee shop that is full of light and color. It has so many adorable curated goods. I left with a vanilla car freshener You definitely can tell it's women owned because they have little Knick knacks that the little ones could play with, so very family friendly. The gals who served me were kind and inviting and it's just the perfect place to grab and go or sit down and eat a warm breakfast. Make sure you show these ladies some love, I know I will be more often :)

My friend and I were planning on catching up after not seeing each other for a while. She came across High Tide, so we decided to give it a try this morning. Upon arriving around 9am, there was a farmers market today, so parking was a bit difficult to find, despite the large lot. Here is what I ordered:The Grinch Latte: a seasonal drink that included vanilla syrup, matcha, and raspberry foam. I knew walking in I was most likely going to get a matcha, but this one definitely caught my eye. It came out and it was so cute, I didn't even want to drink it. Although I am not a raspberry person, the raspberry was not overwhelming and gave it the perfect amount of sweetness. Pear Pomegranate Toast: This was good! I liked the option for a sweet toast.It came with pear slices, pomegranate seeds, cinnamon, and some maple spread. I liked how the flavors came together and the crisp from the toast but the crunch from the seeds. Not sure if I would get this again, as it seems quite simple to make at home. It was definitely pricey for the portion.Overall, I am all for supporting small businesses and love that they are women owned. Everyone there was extremely nice and the seating was comfortable. There were outlets if you needed to plug in for work, so I definitely think I can come here in the future to get some stuff done. There are also so many other drinks I need to try!

My favorite place for a matcha! The service is always so friendly and very helpful. The food is made with quality ingredients as well. They do not allow dogs inside but they do have a few table outside if you have a doggie. Love it here !

Mmmm coffee. Words of the wise. Do the coffee after the yoga workout, not before. YogaSix just opened next door and provides a decent backdrop to the SoCal coffee experience. Cool little mini-mall. You could literally get your nails done, get a sunless tan, wax your 'kini line, and get your matcha on. The store has a few little gift racks, pinball machines, and a few really good breakfast snacks. It's the coffee though and it's really hot n good.

My friend once brought me a Matcha from here and I got so obsessed i had to go back. I absolutely love their grinch matcha !!! I'm so sad it's a seasonal item. The service is truly top tier and the girls at the front are so adorable. I truly loved talking to them and having them help me decide what to order for the rest of the people in my party. Sicily was soo sweet and i enjoyed interacting with her. The overall vibe of the coffee shop is super cute , I definitely want to go back and try more of their menu and possibly get some work done there since they have seating! I always take pictures of my food and drinks but these were gone before I could !

Have an Iced Day!If you are a sucker for a good iced coffee drink, this place is for you! From their classic - iced vanilla latte to their snickerdoodle latte to their Grinch latte, High Tide Coffee kills it on their coffee drinks! They roast their own beans and pour up some delicious caffeinated drinks.The atmosphere is a fun, retro vibe, but it gets busy! Tables are often filled with people enjoying their drinks and the bar top is often filled with people working or chatting over a cup of coffee. It's a little loud, but just like the staff, people love to hang at the shop. The food isn't great. I'd recommend eating before you come or grabbing a bite afterwards. They nail the coffee, but skip the food.
