Hem Street Food

This spot to eat is amazing. I went on Sunday night and it wasn't packed at that time so we were able to be seated right away. I love the ambience that the outside has with the string lanterns, it was very pretty! Our server was really chill and was very helpful in making great suggestions on things to eat. We ordered a lot of food, but my two favorite were the pork skewers and pork cheek! They were sooo good, definitely recommend getting these! Other things we ordered were the grilled shrimp (was flavorful), fish sauce wings (this was okay, thought there would be more flavor), grilled squid (the sauce it comes with makes the dish more flavorful), clam soup (flavor was okay but generous w/ amount of clams), and the grilled corn (pretty good). I would definitely recommend checking this place out for some delicious food!

This place definitely has vietnam vibes. The stools and tables are short and you're sitting outside haha. The food itself was pretty good. The bap xau (street corn) was good but need the chinsu spicy sauce they gave us. The french fries were really crispy and good as well. Service was good, they were all super nice and everything came out quick. Drinks were okay. My coconut juice with basil seeds felt a little watered down and the peach tea was good but nothing special.

I saw an ad on Facebook and decided to give it a try. The ambiance is nice and outdoorsy. The food is good for my taste. Service is quick and friendly. Definitely will try again

Today was our second visit to Hem Street Food and my partner and I were delighted to be welcomed once again by Jessica. We went ahead and ordered the pork skewers, grilled shrimp, and pork cheek dishes again and they were every bit as delicious as before. We decided to try a couple of new dishes--the fried fish ball combo and honey pork ribs--and enjoyed them both. Although the pork ribs could use a bit more flavor, the generous portion size was definitely a plus. We absolutely enjoy the atmosphere at Hem. The food is outstanding and the service is friendly and attentive. This is quickly becoming one of our favorite spots to eat at and we will be returning very soon.

I found this place on facebook and went with my girl friend to check it out. I really like the vibes it's casual and upbeat, reminds me of the street in Vietnam LOL. Food was pretty decent but I specifically like the Bap xao mo hanh which is sautéed corn in green onions. Definitely a chill hangout spot:)!

Great outside atmosphere, the music is what drew me to the patio. Not really knowing what I wanted to try I asked for recommendations, they understood the assignment. Haha, the Thai tea was really good that alone is worth coming back. The beef Noodle , pork skewers were juicy, I didn't photograph the squid but that was my favorite part. There is a green hot sauce that comes with the squid I used it on everything.
