This is easily the best Bun Rieu in OC.Service/Ambiance: The customer service here is top tier. It's owned by the sweetest people. The man there always greets me with a warm smile and such kind energy. I saw a terrible review and was heartbroken to see that someone dogged on this business. This business is in a food court and you go up to the register to order. It's not a glitz and glam restaurant it's a mom and pop shop. A hole in the wall gem. Han's Kitchen is located inside Lucky Seafood Grocery Store, towards the back. Food Consensus: I have picky Vietnamese parents and they LOVE the Bun Rieu here! The Bun Rieu is special here because they have shrimp and crab meat cubes. The flavor is on point for a Bun Rieu. It's light and full of crab and shrimp flavor. They also have other great noodle dishes such as Hu Tieu and Bun Bo Hue. I would highly recommend checking out Han's Kitchen for authentic and delicious food.

Dont come to this restaurant! This owner is crazy and rude.I just came in and sit down. No body say welcome or anything. All the staffs didn't say anything. He just looks at me like crazy. Just stare at me like an alien. Like he never see a human. I look at him back. Wtf ? I said can I have a menu. He was standing at the counter and said come here. Order here. No menu. What do u want? Omg, mofthefuckr so rude. So, I didn't eat. Stand up and left. He was so rude What's wrong with him?DONT COME HERE AND EAT GUYS. I DONT KNOW THE FOOD GOOD OR NOT. BUT THE SERVICE , ATTITUDED LIKE THAT THAT IS NOT RIGHT...People pay to eat not for free. Why carry stresses out from this restaurant ?THIS RESTAURANT SHOULD CLOSED...Rude place

Food was greatService was eh.Ordered bun Bo hue and a cup of water. Got the soup but no water.... Spicy noodle soup with no water gets them 3 stars. Location is small and can be hard to find . Meat was slice very thinly, which I liked.

BUN RIEU BUN RIEU BUN RIEU that is the name of the game and they play it well here.I love bun rieu and if you all don't know what that us I will edumacate you. The base is comprised of a lot of fresh tomatoes, aromatics like shallots, and crabs/dried shrimp. The real good ones uses more crabs, than dried shrimp, typically cua dong crabs. Than the toppings would include more crab parts like the meat or brains and or a meat cake. You can be fancy and add OC, escargot, like this place did but totally not necessary. This place makes it SO good and I dare say similar to Mom's. Sorry Mom. One bowl is only $13 and they give you a variety of delicious meats, about 4 different variety. You can add the escargot for and extra $2. The escargot has a good crunchy texture and does not smell at all.So this was a total accidental find located in a lesser known Lucky supermarket. Hans restaurant is tucked all the way in the back and make sure to keep left when you enter the front entrance. Don't head into the market towards the right. The vibe is what you'd expect of a Vietnamese food hall, so don't expect too much but theres 2 places in here alone that I'm sure would keep the supermarket afloat. This and the vegetarian restaurant that I would write about on the vegetarian's yelp page. So back to Hans, the other dishes I tried besides the bun rieu oc is the Hu Tieu Nam vang, also yummy and priced well!Bun rieu $13 5 stars!Bun rieu + Oc escargo 5 stars!Hu tieu nam vang $15 4 starsVN iced coffee $2 5 STARS a freaking steal!!! I had the bun rieu yesterday and I'm already wanting another. Please give this a try and you wont regret it!

Located in the lucky supermarket.Just keep going left towards past the entrance.Bun rieu 3.5/5They do bun rieu differently here as they serve up two different types of crab paste. You get a serving of the light one and dark one.Escargot was super crunchy - Could use some dipping sauce to compliment it..Broth should be served more piping hot.I think tra da is included with the meal as the bowl itself and bill came out to 15 even.

It was so hard to find a good bun rieu place in OC. I finally tried out their food - bun rieu cua dong, and my family loved it! I and my mom are picky eater lol but we really like this place. Services are fast! Staff are friendly. We will come back in the future.

Super quick and cheap place to get a quick lunch! Food came out super fast, and there was no wait on a weekend. It's located inside lucky seafood market. We ordered bun riu and bun Bo hue. Bun Bo hue was really delicious and had a little spice kick to it, good portions and gave a good amount of meat. The bun riu was also yummy. Ambience is extremely casual.

Owner was super attentive and very kind! The customer service was great! Also, everything was super clean at this establishment!I've had bun bo hue at Mien Trung in SD (best in socal) and the one here is comparable. I told the owner I really liked how thinly cut the Vietnamese meat load was and he came back and offered me more on the house! That's wonderful customer service I don't see often. He's also very receptive to feedback as well when I said I would've like a stronger lemongrass flavor for my personal taste. He recommended their house hot sauce which was super good because it had lemongrass in it.Pro tip: ask for shrimp paste to augment your BBH. It's a must!Would definitely come again!

One of the best bun rieu in OC from a mom/pop place in a food court, so you cannot exepct 5star service. You don't go to these places for their service but their excellent food.The prices went up by $2 but still affordable compared to other places.

Really good foods here. I am from the Southern VN, and I really can taste "real Viet foods" here. Bun Rieu is my most favorite
