It's hard to say, but this place was just... fine. The prices are in line with what you'd expect, but the quality was hit or miss. We grabbed a 2-pound mix, and while some pieces were fresh and tasty, others had that stale, old ghee and nut taste. The Burma? Absolutely fantastic. It's the highlight for sure. As for the shop, it has a cool vibe, but I didn't feel too welcomed. I guess a lot of people probably come in just to grab something sweet after eating at the restaurant next door. All in all, not bad, but not amazing either. 3 stars.

Very good authentic pastries/ sweets served in an interesting style where it's cut when you order. Lots of variety and lots of delicious nut heavy desserts especially with my favorite: pistachio! Will definitely come back when I'm in the area.

I had more items than pictured & they were the best I've had. I've tried many other middle eastern bakeries & this 1 is the best. I can't find the pistachio cream thing anywhere else in southern California. Too bad I live far from here. I'll buy more when I return.

An astounding array of pastries! I absolutely loved it in here! Such a large selection of Lebanese parties. My husband absolutely adores Baklavas, and this place did not disappoint. I'm unfortunately not well versed enough in Lebanese pastries to list out each one we got... but they were all delicious! Highly highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique dessert.

I was looking forward to trying this place. It was disappointing to say the least. Everything tasted a bit bland and not sure about the ingredients used, including the oil. Will look someplace else.

We found this great little Lebanese pastry spot while waiting for some brunch reservations. It's pretty straight to the point, they have everything available on display and you pick what you want and take it to go. There's no real ambiance to the place outside of a cute little pastry shop (I didn't see any seating inside or outside). It's a little pricey ($16 per pound), but it's really fresh and not loaded with sugar, which is something we all loved! The baklava and the walnut dessert were our favorites, but we weren't huge fans of either of the cheese based desserts. The service was quick and we were in and out in less than 5 minutes.Food: 4/5Service: 5/5Value: 3/5Overall: 4/5

I am delighted that someone beat me to it and posted a review about this fabulous Middle Eastern Patisserie. We visited this store 2 weeks ago and I have been trying to find the time to write a glowing review because they deserve it. We always stop by the Hallab Pastry stores in Lebanon & we were thrilled when friends told us they had opened a store in Anaheim! Their Lebanese sweets are top notch! The first thing I want to mention is that if you enter the store address in your navigator and you are having a hard time finding this store - please KEEP LOOKING! It is there, but it is hard to find! It is tucked in the RIGHT corner behind the Little Arabia Restaurant that has a big tent up and almost hides the Hallab store front. (Picture attached). Had a friend of ours not told us that it was definitely in that plaza I would have thought it did not exist. Once inside you will find a beautiful, elegant patisserie with decor that is so reminiscent of the Middle East, you may forget for a minute that you are in still in LA! The gentleman serving us was very polite & welcoming & with true Middle Eastern hospitality gave us some treats to taste. We of course bought much more than we should have, but no regrets here as everything was outstanding. The Pistachio Mafrouke is truly delicious, as is the "regular" "Mafrouke". Knafe is of course a Middle Eastern dessert that cannot be missed, so we tried both the "Knafe bi Asthma" (Knafe with Cream Filling) & the traditional "Knafe with the cheesy filling". With the rose water & orange blossom scented syrup drizzled on top of these treats, you will think you are in heaven. Make your way to Hallab - you will not regret it!!! It is by far the best Middle Eastern Patisserie we have found in the USA!

My boyfriend and I had a random craving for some baklava and found this bakery via Yelp. Boy was it well worth it and satisfied every craving we had! I feel like we stumbled on a gem and despite not really having visited any other locations to find these delicious treats I guarantee we will be returning. The bakery is located in a fairly busy shopping center but the place itself is easy to find. Inside the attendant was nice and helpful explaining how everything was sold by weight and in specific container sizes. We ordered the second smallest container and the total came out to $11. The storefront was beautiful, clean, and very tidy. It was not very busy but we were also there on a Tuesday afternoon. I hope this review convinces you to stop by because everything was delicious and you can tell made with love as well as high quality products!
