Been to Habachihana in orange & Anaheim. And when the Korean spot closed here in YL, been wondering what'll come in. & yay, it's hibachi. Like the other locations, There's seating to eat here but mostly take out spot. Food is grilled on the spot, and everything comes in Togo containers. They got a Coca Cola product drink machine with coke, Diet Coke, sprite, Dr Pepper, Fanta, Minute Maid lemonade, & 2 Fuze tea options. Oh and a house strawberry lemonade.Chickens are go to, and liking both New York and filet. Honestly filet goes better with the fried rice. Rice is white rice. But that fried rice.. oh yummmm! The sauce options are:- ginger sauce, it's been out past 2 visits - yum yum, a sweet & sour mayo- diablo, spicy mayo- teriyaki, it's a bit strong. Little goes long way- spicy garlic, similar to the chili hot sauce - garlic butter, our absolutely favorite. Leftovers go into the freezer and I make homemade fried rice with it! Right now, there's a $25 for 2 bowls (chicken or shrimp) with fried rice and a drink. They'll do white rice or half veggies without charge. If thinking of getting for the kids. This is a great deal as the Kids teriyaki is $14 & chicken bowls $16. And for those chicken bowls, another $4 to upgrade to fried rice

One of my kiddos and I visited the Habachihana Grill in Yorba Linda back in December and I will be in the area and stop in tomorrow, too. After looking online I thought it's a bit more than I'd be willing to spend for lunch, but then I discovered that they have a great special that is 2 Bowls for $25 and that is a great value - my bowl actually became two meals for me. The bowls come with protein, veggies, and rice. My son chose the chicken bowl with steamed rice and I chose the shrimp bowl with fried rice. I thought it was cool that I had the option to order fried rice instead of steamed. I have to say that I absolutely loooved their veggies!! I actually wish there was an option to get a bowl that is only veggies and protein. That would be awesome and that's how delicious the veggies are here! You have to try them to see what I mean - not too crisp, not mushy, just right! Both of us tried each other's proteins and we both agreed that the chicken appealed to us more than the shrimp. Both were really good, but I will buy the chicken from here on out. My son preferred to eat his bowl plain, but I chose the ginger sauce and oh my gosh that sauce is fantastic! My kiddo plowed through his bowl pretty fast and he went back up to order a miso soup and some shrimp tempura. I'll note here that I took home leftovers from my bowl and I feel it is plenty of food and a good value for the price. Back to the miso soup, we both love miso soup and we both felt that theirs was just too salty - and I prefer salty & savory flavors! We took it home and tried it later, but ended up just throwing it away. The shrimp tempura was just as expected and we both liked it. There are a handful of tables and seats here so I get the impression this is more popular for take out, but we didn't have any issue with grabbing a table to enjoy a bite. I can't wait to go back tomorrow.

The food is great. My coworkers and I grab lunch from here often. However, they've forgotten our second order of veggies twice. It would be great if they would take their time to double check their online orders before packing them up. I typically check before leaving too, but every now and then we're in a rush and would expect for everything on our order to be packed and ready for pickup.

For a fast casual spot, it's a bit pricey, unless you get the two for $25 special, but be forewarned, it's only for the chicken and shrimp bowls. Good news, it comes with the delicious fried rice, hibachi-style. Bad news, the chicken is dry. So is the beef (not included in the special). I'd go with the shrimp, it's more forgiving and add the garlic sauce. Because they cook to order, you'll be waiting a while for your food. Plenty of clean, casual tables if you eat there, we've been there twice and we usually take togo.

The quality of the food at this place was excellent, but just know it's really pricey! Most Hibachi spots are like this and will be at least over $30, but I believe I paid around $40+ for New York Steak, Chicken, rice, and vegetables. I was tempted to get the fried rice, but it was more pricey. The steak was very tender and seasoned well. The white rice was a bit dry to my liking, though. The employee was very friendly and answered all my questions. She brought the food to my car because I had my dog with me, which was super sweet! I would come back if I was in the area and in the mood for some delicious Hibachi.

I ordered a bowl w/chicken, white rice and veggies with Diablo sauce. The chicken chunks weren't dry. The veggies were tossed in a light sauce. The ratio of rice:veggies:chicken was perfect! The Diablo sauce is pretty spicy. But it's good! I believe it's a mayo based sauce. It goes good with the chicken. All-in-all, I would come back again!

Let me start off by saying I've been to other grills like this but I think I've enjoyed this one the most. The girls in the front are patient and friendly. And the cooks were ready to start cooking as we paid for our food. The steak and chicken were cooked to perfection. Flavor was great. I do recommend getting the upgraded rice and a side of garlic butter for your food and some yum yum sauce. It really ties the experience together. The girls brought our food to our table and thanked us as we left. Not many people do that these days so it's appreciated and pleasant to hear. I'd come back for sure. Not a single complaint

The food was tasty and came out quickly! Took a star off because the food is pricey for a fast casual restaurant. We got the fried rice and the garlic noodles. The rice is better. Both were on the oilier side but expected for this type of food. We would go back only for the rice! It's cheaper and faster than like a Benihana so come back for a quick fix.

Food was delicious, much better quality than teppanyaki places. While everything was yummy it was too expensive. Prices were higher than teppanyaki places that provide a show and more food. My husband and I shared a meal and cost us over $40.... That's crazy, I don't think I could bring my family off 5 to eat here, it would cost too much for a fast food style restaurant. With that said, food quality was good and staff was friendly and helpful
