H Mart - Irvine Westpark

I feel this marketplace was much needed in the Irvine community, and it certainly has a lot to offer. From the large aisles of Asian food selections to produce, market items, and even a food court. It's impressive they managed to fit so many different things and makes it accessible for those who usually shop at other Asian markets. I really appreciate their new shopping carts that roll smoothly and also have a deep seat so that infants/toddlers cannot easily get out from the cart. I have yet to see sales but the prices seem relatively affordable.The place is definitely catered to Koreans and since our family does not really speak Korean, we did not really receive any good or bad service. Half the cashiers do speak Korean though, so I'm sure that's a plus for certain customers. Their seems to be plenty of cashiers which keep all the lines moving steadily. The store is clean, inviting, and has a great selection. Would certainly return for my grocery needs.

I got severe food poisoning from the pork & fried shrimp at the RTE section. I had see a doctor and was out of work for a week. I come to this location quite often due to location and it's just bad.Music is too loud & is on repeat 24/7 - It's almost like I'm at a club with the same 5 tracks on repeat. By the time you spend 30 minutes here, you start feeling chaotic and uncomfortable. I feel bad for the employees working here because they also complain about the music being too loud and repeating. I'm guessing HR doesn't care because it's been the same tune on repeat since they opened. There's literally only 2 stalls in the male bathroom in this entire H Mart. And every time I visit the bathroom, there is always several H Mart amigos just chilling in each of the bathroom stalls (I hear the whatever they're watching or talking on the phone). Best is when I come back an hour later and they're still there. Like wtf are they doing in there? Also if you do get lucky and get in the stalls, good luck because the stalls are filthy.

Clean, organized, great produce. What more could you want from an H mart? I came by with coworkers to pick up some food for the work week and we were so happy to see the quality of the pre cut fruit options available even late into the evening. We didn't find everything we were looking for drink wise, but found plenty to get us through what we needed for a few days.

This is for the food court only. We got tofu from Cho Dang and it was so flavorful and delicious. Love that it's a food court with so many choices. Good for a quick lunch stop. I'm including pictures of all the other food choices on this review since it was hard to figure out all the food options in there.

super clean market and a great addition to the westpark area of irvine. the store is quite large and has an array of fruits, meats, vegetables, and much more. the side includes a food court with around 10 stalls of different foods. service is nice here, but nothing stands out. just your typical grocery store workers. but i'm glad to have an h mart here and have lots of foods and snacks to choose from

Found the cleanest H Mart in town! Had a lot of good stuff offered. I was looking for a particular ice cream for a while. Most places ran out of them until I made a stop here. Was surprised they had it because usually sold out at other H Marts. When I went to pay for it, cashier was super friendly and made my day! There is a food court which I would like to check out next time. The bakery area has some good baked goods like croissants, desserts, pastries, teas, and coffee. Had a scrumptious curry donut which satisfied my appetite. Just loved how it was all organized and cleaned!

Pretty solid Hmart location? I think so. This setup environment also has a good size food court for people to hang around, including Tous Les Jours bakery cafe inside. Very welcoming environment. Public restrooms available. The grocery store was spacious and fully stocked. I was able to find a box of Hawaiian macadamia white chocolates for $7.99 each. Snacks are not overpriced either. Very good. Freezers/refrigerators in the aisles were spotless, clean, modern & well maintained. Good business operations. Staffs fully trained. Typical Hmart grocery store stuff, but huge inventory of groceries can be found. They have many brands that I haven't seen at other locations too. I would definitely shop here for groceries if I lived in Irvine. Ramen, tofu stew, fried chicken, appetizers, hot dogs, etc. Food court looks awesome with lots of tables and chairs to sit. It's a place worth visiting multiple times. People look happy with holiday vibes. Cool place. FYI, The other Hmart location in Irvine doesn't have a large size food court. This place is a winner.

I would give 4 stars but only 2 stars because .....picture will explain.I guess kitchen crew don't wash vegetables when they prepare meals. It is so bad.... Sticker still on the red bell pepper

Cashier service was so poorI got large amounts of food And they didn't service for put groceries to into the bag and I did it my self ( I order of 4 bag).
