Good Day Cafe

Came here on a Sunday around 1:00pm. Some seating available outside. Service was friendly.Ordered a vanilla iced coffee it was good and creamy and not too strong. Had a water station outside. All in all good for a coffee.

I was surprised at how absolutely delicious this "simple" breakfast was. I mean the market salad had the perfect amount of Ingredients that fit together, the dressing was light but tasty, not overpowering, so well balanced. The egg was perfectly done. And the toast??? That bread??? Wth was that ! It melted in my mouth. It was buttered to perfection. Perfect crisp on outside to soft and bready on the innards. So simple, yet taste so complex and balanced. Really through me off guard with this one. Matcha was also excellent :)Service was lovely. Cute little nook to sit at and enjoy as well as small adorable patio

Loved this place. I was looking for somewhere with yummy baked goods and saw some of the reviews here on Yelp, so decided to go in. Their pastries are made in house every morning. I had an apple scone and it was delightful! The coffee was delicious as well. The barista was friendly and had such a welcoming, comforting energy. Their whole menu looks incredible and, while I don't live in the area, I would love to go back ASAP!

Around the corner off 4th street, lies a little gem of a cafe, that serves the best BLT. You can taste the premium bacon and incredibly light bread that is so satisfying. It comes with a delightful side salad with micro greens and spring mix and pairs well with the sandwich. Their Apple Bar is crazy good, not overly sweet and nice textures. I had mine with tea. Service was very nice and they made everything to order. Looking forward to going back and trying more of their fare.

If you were looking for Wide Eyes and met with confusion, there was a change of ownership and the cafe here is now called Good Day. They did however retain all the recipes from the prior business, and the food here is mouthwatering.Area is slightly sketch, and parking like most places inLong Beach is difficult. The service is top notch, with the staff taking my order up front being a highlight. They were super friendly, sharing the alpha on their personal favorites on the menu, and brought upon a welcoming atmosphere. The cafe itself is pretty small, but clean and charming. They have an outside seating area with small, battery-powered windmill fans to keep flies away. For coffee, I went with the iced cardamom spice latte which was the only disappointment on the menu. It was watery and lacked the flavor I was looking for. For my meal, I went with the pesto bagel sandwich as suggested by staff, and I'd safely rank it top 5 on my list. Texture was incredible, the pesto was fresh and flavorful, and paired surprisingly well with cream cheese.Their gusto bread is likely top 3 I've ever had, and that's incredibly high praise as a bread fiend. Like the bagel sandwich, the texture was perfect. It was slightly crisp and soft. The bread was lightly buttered and grilled masterfully. It was so delicious that we'd actually ordered another couple servings and devoured them quickly, pairing well with the strawberry jam they have available.

Stopped in for a drink & I can't wait to come back hungry! Every plate that walked out to the patio looked drool-worthy. Vibes are super chill & the staff is really sweet!

Any day good day for a cup of coffee! If you are looking for a little neighborhood coffee shop look no further than good day cafe! It's a tiny little hole in the wall but don't be deceived it is quite delicious! The shop itself doesn't have much room inside but they have a tiny but roomy patio out front that seats quite a few. They offer a variety of drinks as well as beer and wine! I got the rosemary latte and it was a very subtle rosemary flavor but as someone who doesn't like overly sweet drinks it was perfect. I also got their breakfast which was tasty! It was a bit pricy for the size but the ingredients were very clearly top notch and taste was 10/10. The employees are very friendly and make an effort to get to know their guests. Parking can be difficult depending on the time you arrive but I've always managed to find a spot. Also I love that this is a woman owned shop (and LGBTQ I think too?)! Everyone is welcomed and loved! Overall I will absolutely be back!

Love this spot & the staff!!! Super cute & perfect for WFH or coffee dates. The BLT, Oatmeal, & Rosemary latte are my absolute favoriteee. Ask them about the oatmeal it's a special so it's not on the menu. Ohmmm and if you have a chance check out the bathroom! (don't wanna ruin it but ya its something you wanna check out if you're there).

Excellent Cafe with really creative eats. The latte has a hint of rosemary and it's out of this world. Classic Rose Park/4th St., Long Beach spot. Great menu for breakfast and lunch!Family Friend...Friendly staff, attentive, owner parking and seating. Cool vibe.

Good Day Cafe is one of my favorite Long Beach cafes! The staff is super friendly, the vibes are great, and I love the food! My favorite dishes are the Egg and Grain Bowl and the That's My Jam Toast with their seasonal house-made ricotta and jams. Their rosemary and cardamom lattes are my favorite caffeinated drinks there. There is cozy parklet seating out front that is perfect for meeting a friend for brunch.
